She was efficient, knowledgeable, and precise with what I asked. I work in a call center and I appreciate when I get excellent customer service. Please reassess her as an employee as I believe she may be a potential asset for promotion and an example for what your company should represent. My checking account was not debuted on date set it was 3 days earlier.
On August 17th my account was debited in advance for a payment that was setup for the 19th. I spoke with a rep by the name of *** who wanted to continue to shed light is what she stated but could not help put my funds back. I explained to them that I need the funds for the weekend and I specifically wanted the payment set for Monday August 19th which she confirmed it was set up this way yet there was nothing that could be done. Mind you I have no money for the weekend & I'm 9 mos pregnant. I've used this app over a year and this is how I was treated. They absolutely did not care at all!!! After sending proof they asked for & everything. I would not recommend if your ever in a tight. They do not care.

Thank you for contacting us. We have reviewed your Earnin transactions and see that your debit, in the amount of $101 ($100 cash out on 8/02 and $1.00 tip) was sent out for processing on 8/17, however, it remained in a pending status until 8/19. We understand that the bank already held those funds as part of their processing, and therefore this caused access to that $101 to be denied. We sincerely apologize for the experience and definitely are working to make sure situations like this do not occur in the future. Earning debited my account two days earlier than scheduled, causing a negative balance and overdraft fees. No one was willing to help solve.
I borrow money from Earnin regularly and always pay back on my pay dates. For the second time now Earnin took money from my bank account two days early. Causing me to *** negative and overdraft while i'm on vacation with no other means of payment. I tried to talk to multiple representatives but they say it was simply 'pending', as if that's meant my money wouldn't be taken out. Then they said it was my bank who could reverse it, which is not the case. I want Earnin to take the money I owe them out in the rightful date, not two days before. This is actually illegal due to the terms agreed upon when signing up for the app. I am a student who works part time and who lives pay check to pay check which is why I borrow from them. I feel so upset and am left with no way to reconcile the problem. Even better, one lady said we couldn't see if the transaction had gone through until my the day I was originally supposed to have been debited!

Desired Outcome

Funds returned and in the future not be debited days before the original scheduled date. Cover my THREE $34 over draft fees

We certainly understand the concern here. It appears that your payroll is currently set up as it should be. We want to make sure we do refund any overdraft fees caused by Earnin. If you could please send in a photo of those posted overdraft fees and/or a statement displaying them, we would definitely get this processed for you.

I just signed up, had some issues as a new user and their support group solved my problem immediately. Additionally this is a wonderful alternative to predatory payday loan services. They are reasonably priced and help prevent excessively high overdraft charges. I love Earnin!

it has been a week now that I have been trying to get in contact with someone to help me resolve some over draft fee charges caused by earnin taking money an entire week early after I had previously spoken via chat with someone regarding my pay day change which they said would be taken care of. after I saw the charges I reached out again and been given the run around although they said they would resolve the 4 return fees from my bank. they asked for proof which I provided and now a week later I am still waiting on a resolution for this. it is extremely frustrating to be given the run around with no resolution and not be able to pick up the phone and talk to anyone about this.

Desired Outcome

i would like to receive the 4 $35 charge fee as it was a mistake on earnins end to withdraw money an entire week early

I have not been able to actually speak to someone by phone to receive the proper respect to resolve the issue their company caused with my account.

Around July 8th 2019 I had contacted Earnin to provide them my new checking account information and to let them be aware that my old was closed so that the withdrawal could come out correctly on July 15th. When July 15th came, their company was trying to take money out of my close account. I made several attempts as well as my bank (PNC)to get the correct information on my checking account put into their system. I tried for several days to keep putting my new/correct account numbers in their system but it continue to show my old. Their company does not have an actual phone number to call to speak to a live person instead everything is done via chat texting or email neither which helps or provide clear assistance to resolve such matter as mine. Today (08/15/19)the money was finally taken out of my correct account however Earnin is showing I borrowed more than I actually did, like $200.00. This is more likely from when reoccurrence withdrawal from my old account they automatically provided but I never, and I swear, never received that money. Now today the company is saying they can only provide me $100.00 to borrow, not give that was actually mine in the first place. Again there is no number for me to call to speak with a live person and I am unable to continue to chat text for hours. On top of that when you do chat text them and you are not fast enough to reply to them they assume you are not there and the conversation ends just like that so then you get a new person and have to explain it all over again! this is not fair to me, I owe them nothing then from what I borrowed and yet they took more and will not give it back when clearly this was an error on their part and my bank did try to help me and saw that the company system was not taking my information correctly. The company owes me $209.00 ($9.00 is the tip one provides as a thank you)

Desired Outcome

I am asking for my money back that the company assumed I received off my old closed account but I never did and they took that assumed money I received out of my new account. That is stealing! I also want to speak to a live person not chat text or email. The company owes me $209.00.

Everytime I have had an issue and brought that issue to a customer service associate that associate would resolve my problem very efficiently, so efficiently I've stopped trying to figure these issues out for myself anymore because a customer rep has always resolved the issue faster then I could on my own. Personally, I feel like other companies could learn a lot from Earnin's customer service team.

Great service! Always there when I need it. The customer service is excellent. I have never had a negative experience with them, they explain everything with patience and in an easy to understand way. I personally work in Customer Service, and I love that they give us (the customer) the opportunity to rate their service right after.
