Account was credited and account was put in the negative (-100) I talked to customer service was told sorry for inconvenience
July 12 I contacted earnin customer service to make them aware that I was having money taken out my account before my payday and they just told me it was nothing they could so and that I needed to talk to my bank well my bank couldn't refund me my money without the permission of earnin and earnin wasn't working with me to give me my money back.
i want my account to be put back into the positives
At this time we have issued a credit to this member's account to ensure that our incorrect debit would not cause inconvenience or disruption of member's budget. We're working with this member to ensure that payroll is properly setup once they have provided us with updated information related to their employer. Once we have current employer details, this error should not persist.

The earnin company has failed to pay me back for the money that they've taken off my checking account at my bank
It was July 11th that the money from my job was deposited onto my bank account which then was all took in in separate bits by the earnin company
I just want a refund
Since Earnin doesn't work directly with your employer, we'll need to debit your bank account on payday in order to get back the money you took out with us. Our debits will be a separate transaction than your direct deposit. Earnin will automatically debit your bank account for the amount you cashed out, plus any tips given.
I woke up to a compromised bank account. This meant my loan from earnin could not be fully covered. She was empathetic and jumped right in to keep me from having a bad situation become worse. She was absolutely amazing and if this could get her a raise or promotion it should. The way she treated me was nothing short of angelic. I appreciate her working with me today.

My back account is overdrafted
I did not know this is how earning worked I was billed and didn't get a notice
I need the money back
At this time we have reached out to the community member to ensure we're able to cover any overdraft fees associated with our debits. However, we've received no response. Once we receive information that shows our debits on their checking account resulted in any overdraft fees, we will certainly take care of refunding those.

Earnin debited 282.99 from my account 2 days before I was paid causing my account to go into the negative..
Earnin debited 282.99 from my account 2 days before I was paid causing my account to go into the negative.. I took a screenshot of my bank statement and emailed them.. Then I read where the chat is open 24/7 so I did the chat option.. I spoke to *** and sent her a picture of my overdrawn account where it shown that Earnin debited 282.99 on the 13th putting me 282.99 in the negative. *** told me that it on her system it stated that I would be debited on the 15th, however my bank statement shown that the funds were already taken.. she sent me my screenshot back underlying the word PENDING.. I explained to her that I did not have the funds to cover 3 NSFs, she told me to call my bank and to confirm that they took out the funds.. when the only transactions that where most recent was Earnin. She went on to tell me that Earnin did not cause my overrdraft even after receiving my screenshot.. I was very disappointed on how I was treated as a customer and how my issue was not resolved.
I would like my account be debited on the days that I get paid and not 2-3 days before. I would also like my NSFs to be credited and the amount that I owe. The customer service was terrible and my issue was never resolved.
we certainly understand your concern here and definitely do not want that to be the type of experience that our customers have. We do apologize that was the case here and we would love the opportunity to resolve this with you. We did reach out prior to this submission to attempt and resolve your concerns so we could ensure that any overdraft fees incurred due to our erroneous debits would be taken care of, as well as confirming that our setup of your payroll was updated so this type of thing would not occur in the future.

Unethical practices and the runaround
I had used the earnin app since around January 2019. I was a good customer, Earnin never had any issues withdrawing on payday and I constitently tipped generously and "paid it forward."
This pay period, beginning 7/9, I noticed that my earnings were not calculating. I had run into this issue before because I work at three business locations as I have explained to the app before, usually when this happened , I would send a timesheet and they would manually enter my earnings.
Imagine my surprise when I was informed by a rep that my earnings were not reflecting because of a practice called "reserved earnings" where they hold your earnings due to a negative account balance. Supposedly, on 7/11/2019, my account went into a negative balance of $***. This never happened and I showed the representative detailed account breakdown including all balances for the day in question and also reflecting a positive balance and my account never having gone into any negative balance during that period . The representative then proceeded to tell me that it just takes a few hours for the system to update since they use a third party, I told the representative that even at the time of our chat, my balance was positive.
My issue was escalated to a supervisor who acknowledged that this was an error and that my "reserved earnings" would be reset by the next day.
This didn't happen. Landing me back to the chat module where I was forced to reexplain the issue over and over again as every team member parroted the "reserved earnings" silliness as I explained to them over and over again that this was an error, already discussed with a supervisor and that I was promised that it would be resolved already and that I would be able to cash out by the 11th.
Later in the evening of the 07/12, I received an email from a supervisor called *** apologizing and stating that by midnight 07/12, my "reserved earnings" would be reset and that I should be good to go.
Well, you guessed it, that also did not happen. So I ended up in the chat module where again I was forced to reexplain my situation, remind them of their various promises, again I was given the runaround now with a promise that this has been escalated to a "technical team."
So today (07/14), I made it to a completely unhelpful *** who had no urgency to resolve my issue. I requested to be escalated to her supervisor since every LEGITIMATE company has a customer complaint process. She refused, telling me that she is the highest supervisor of both the technical and customer service team. I inquired that why as the highest person for both team she cannot connect directly with the technical team to attempt to resolve this issue. She then claimed otherwise and told me I would have an answer within a week, unacceptable.
This interaction made it obvious that this was a runaround and not a simple error as I had assumed in the beginning, but a deliberate attempt to discourage customers from using the app.
Reverse "reserved earnings" as you promised. An apology for the lies and the runaround.
We absolutely apologize for the inconvenience this issue caused and the extended time it took to resolve it. At the time of this response, the issue has been corrected and no longer prevents *** from using Earnin.
The communication on 07/12/19 was regarding our attempted mitigation, which at the time of sending was expected to resolve the impact to ***. Unfortunately, this resolution was unsuccessful and meant the issue required assistance from an engineer to find a permanent solution.
Although it took longer than we were comfortable with, we were able to resolve the issue for *** on 07/16/19. Since this resolution, we have documented and implement a process which allows us to address this more quickly in the future.

Wow! Can't believe this company! They aggressively tried to steal HIPPA protected information and then tried to cover it up! I have screenshots to prove their illegal practices. When I left a negative comment and review calling them out on FB it was promptly deleted and I was blocked. Avoid this theft scam.

We take security measures, including firewall barriers, SSL encryption techniques, and authentication procedures, to help protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Right now, we have two ways to collect earnings: Through timesheets or our Automagic Earnings power feature. At this point, Automagic Earnings is not compatible with jobs in residential areas, and we understand your concerns with sending screenshots of your timesheets.
Unfortunately, these are the only options we have to collect earnings. However, we are always looking for ways to improve, and your case is a great example of being able to help more community members in the future. Thank you for sharing.
This app is extremely helpful and convenient. I can get MY own money that I EARNED when I need it for an emergency or to avoid an overdraft fee. I personally have had no issues except for one discrepancy while I was on vacation that was easily taken care of right away within 5 minutes. Jessa was very patient with me and extremely helpful with what I needed help with. I don't know what the standard is for Earnin, but Jessa went above and beyond. If only more support were like Jessa, the world would be a better place for it.

I loved this app. It help me tremendously with me bills but it doesn't update as fast as it should. It debits the money from your account but doesn't let you cash out. It doesn't update balances therefore causing you not to be able to cash out. I would only suggest earning for temporary use like 1-3 times otherwise they will be a great DISAPPOINTMENT. & the customer service reps don't assist AT ALL
