Earnin has great customer service, always extremely helpful, great guidance and human interaction, even though it's through chat it always feels like a friend is on the other side of the computer/phone.

Bank Account Connection Issues
I have been in contact with Earning for over a week now without resolution. Recently I had to change online banking user name. Since then it's been a nightmare getting this matter resolved. They have tried refreshing my account with them, instructing to me contact my bank, and placing blame on a low balance. My bank has confirmed this is not a issue on their end. They have stated the verification was put on hold and to wait 2 business days, and still no resolution after being extreme patient. It is unacceptable that because of a username change to my online banking logging I am not able to use the services.

Desired Outcome

I have incurred 2 nsf fees as a result of this which I ask be refunded. There is no reason why I should be held liable for your system errors.

We reached out to the community member on 10/28/19 via email but unfortunately have not received a response.

If the community member changed her banking username, she should still be able to use the app by updating her information. We would like to troubleshoot this issue and just need her to reach out so we can gather further information.

Additionally, if the community member has incurred any overdraft fees as a result of not being able to use the app, we will happily refund those fees so long as she can provide us with the appropriate screenshots that display Earnin's transactions and the overdraft fees in question. Again, in order to process this request, we need her to reach out and provide the appropriate documentation listed above.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to remind the community member that we are here to help and would truly like to solve this problem.

Earnin is amazing. I have been using them for 2 months and each payday they have increased my limit. I'm now up to $400 per paycheck they will loan me (I get paid 2x a month). I had some issues linking to my bank account initially... but their customer service walked me through it over chat. It honestly took a couple tries but they did it, it has been seamless. I was skeptical at first, but this company does EVERYTHING they promise to do. I've even chosen not to tip, they still increase my advance. They're for real! I dont know how they make money - but whatever they're doing, keep doing it! Because you're really helping a lot of people. I also wanted to add, I was paying an average of $350 PER MONTH in stupid overdraft fees - I'm serious. Once you're negative, it is so hard to climb out. This company is a Godsend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I did a earnin loan for $100 10/20 the loan Was not deposited into my account. Instead they withdrew $100 from my account and still say I still owe.
I did a $100 loan on 10/18,10/19 and 10/20. With tip it would be $315. The loan on 10/20 was never deposited instead on 10/21 they took out $100 out of my bank account. They say I still owe them $315, when really I owe them $210 on 11/1 and they owe me $100 from the unauthorized $100 they took out. I explained that instead of depositing the $100 they withdrew. They said there is nothing they can do and forwarded my case to a specialist. I gave them every screenshot in my account from 10/18-10/21.

Desired Outcome

I would like my $100 back and the amount listed owning on my account changed from $315 to $210

We received initial complaint on 10/23 and reached out to the community advocate working on this case.

After a thorough investigation, our community advocate was able to refund the cash outs that withdrawn early and the ones that had a significant delay in posting.

We thank you for your patience as we worked through this, and as per our community advocate's advice, please let us know what your bank's solution was so we can avoid frustration and delay if this were to happen again.

As a side note, if you choose to do an unauthorized transaction request with your bank, we will not longer be to work with that checking account. You will have to set up a new checking account with two direct deposits to use earnin again.
