Terrible app. They debt your account before your paycheck has hit and causes your account to go into the negative! Don't ever use this app

This can sometimes occur if your bank/credit union deposits your paycheck after our debits post, but we need to look into your account to determine the cause and find a fix.

We were able to review your chats with our community advocates. We apologize for any inconvenience and frustration you have encountered. Based on our chat overview, we see that there was a complication with your direct deposits and you wanted to reschedule your debits.
At this time, once the debits have been sent to your bank or credit union, we are unable to reschedule the debits. We need at least 2-3 banking days to reschedule a restore on your account.
However, we will have a community advocate reach out to you to look into your account further.

They did not refund me for an overdraft fee I was charged due to their mistake which they repeatedly admitted and owned that it was their mistake
I got a Debit charge by them on the WRONG date which made my account negative that caused me an Overdraft fee. The same day that they DEBITED my account, I had a payment scheduled which I had enough money in my bank for, but due to their Incorrect Debit that was taken out, my schedule payment was returned to the bank this caused The bank charged me TWO overdraft fees (1 for their incorrect debit and 2nd one for the schedule payment) which I should not have been charged for either if they would have done their transaction CORRECTLY. Now this company admits their mistake but WONT REFUND ME the overdraft fee for the 2nd payment that it would had gone through... Their debit was taken out first and was a big amount so it caused my account to go negative and not have insufficient funds for my other payment that it would had gone through if they did not take my momey out my account incorrectly. Earnin now only wants to refund me for one overdraft and not the second one that they caused also even though they are admitting that it was their mistake
I want to be refunded for the second overdraft fee they caused
After reviewing the community member's account, screenshots, and previous support chats, we have determined that they were debited on the incorrect Friday (11/1). This incorrect debit effectively caused the community member to overdraft their account and adversely affected their ability to repay other debits. We have reached out to the community member to let them know that they have been credited for the overdraft fee in question. The community member's payroll has been updated to ensure that this does not happen again. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and hope that this resolution will suffice.
Each staff member I've dealt with has been prompt, efficient and compassionate. They've taken very good care of me & have met all my needs.

Earnin has failed to correct connection to my bank MCU NY for 2 weeks
Earnin refuses to keep you updated. I have even contacted my bank and they have attempted to cont contact Earnin. Useless. Constantly blaming their bank provider. You're engineers appear to be non existent. Yet you deduct from MCU NY bank account without hesitation. Great way to *** down an entire bank from utilizing your services. 2 weeks .. really ?
Fix you ap instead of making excuses. You continue to ignore issues . Youve failed to respond with any updates nor have you checked with your 3rd party banker. Your engineers cant be that incompetent to take 2 weeks to connect to MCU NY's
We have reached out to the community member in hopes of resolving this bank connection issue. After completing several troubleshooting steps on our end, it was discovered by our bank connection team that MCU NY is currently experiencing issues related to their technology layer for financial services. While we regret we could not resolve this matter on our end, the bank is aware of the issue and should be working to fix it. The community member has been advised to wait until the bank is able to solve the issue. In the meantime, we are committed to keeping this community member informed about any and all information we receive regarding this ongoing bank outage.
Cared about me and my family and did everything in her power to help us out this week and did a great job and it has helped us a lot already.

Earnin refuses to correct their mistake
Earnin debited my account one week too early, on November 7th, and has resulted in my bank account being negative $131! I have spoken to three people on this within the Earnin company, and they refused who correct their mistake. Two of them even blatantly stated but they made no mistake even though it was clear as day that they had. They even went as far as to tell me it was my mistake, when no mistake on my part was made. I hadn't received my paycheck, and my pay wasn't coming at any other way than it always ever has, and they debited me 3 days after I got the payday loan, even though most people get paid the following week of hours worked. This is insane and I cannot believe that they absolutely refuse to do anything, stating that since my account has already been debited they can't reverse or credit my account in any way. They basically just tried to wash their hands of me and it has resulted in my account, currently at -$131, and most definitely headed towards the HUNDREDS in the hole as I cannot reciver this account for weeks after sitting negative for this long! I would like them to refund this money, and at least put some of the money back towards bringing my account back to the positive, and for it to be fair, this company should cover the damages as a result of a mistake( all the overdraft fees that are acquired until the account is brought back into the positive as a result of this company debiting 1 WEEK too early!), and would have no problem with them charging for when my check actually comes, November 14.
I would like these charges made by this company reversed, and not build until the correct date. I would also like this company to pay back any damages made by their mistake, meaning any overdraft fees by a choir until they correct mistake. My bank is charging $34 per day of insufficient funds fees, and I myself cannot correct this mistake on my own for weeks, so that is going to accrue quickly.
My initial sentence in my complaint was supposed to say "Earnin debited my account one week too early"
Reached out to community member and are awaiting a response.
Based on chats with our community advocates and Revdex.com submission, we see that *** communicated debits were made early, but chats were disconnected before community advocates were able to confirm pay schedule. We have pay schedule set up as pays every week on Thursday holidays always pay the day before based on a chat with our community advocates in April of 2019.
Based on this pay schedule, debits were not made early as the Cash Outs from 11/4, 11/5, and 11/6 were scheduled to be debited on Thursday 11/7. Any Cash Outs made on and/or after 11/7 are set to be debited back on Thursday 11/14 based on the pay schedule provided.
However, we see that due to the nature of the community member's job, there are slight inconsistencies in their direct deposit pattern.
We would love to look further into the community member's account and make sure everything is set up correctly so *** has a positive experience with Earnin. We need to confirm the pay period and make adjustments if this pay schedule is incorrect so there are no future issues.
If this pay schedule is correct, we would suggest *** reach out to our community advocates if she is aware of an inconsistent direct deposit so we can reschedule the debits for a more convenient time.

I took three cash outs and one of them never came through to my bank account.
I cashed out on 10/31, 11/1 & 11/4. The first deposited into my bank account on 11/1 and the second was supposed to come through on 11/4, but never did and then I received the third cash out on 11/5. I spent an hour on chat with a representive trying to explain to them what was going on and they were completely useless. The never answered a single question correctly and kept giving me incorrect information. I asked several times for a phone number or to speak to someone else that could help me, and finally after an hour on useless back and forth, they finally said I would be getting an email from a specialist. I got the email and all they did was attach a transaction list...the list was wrong!!!!! It now added another cash out that I didn't even request!!!!! I wrote back immediately, but never received a response back. Tomorrow Earnin is set to take $300 from my bank account, but I only received $200 from them! I'm very concerned this is a scam and they are stealing my money and refuse to cooperate with me. I have copies of every single deposit and withdrawal from my bank from earnin proof that the 11/1 cash out was never deposited into my bank.
I want Earnin to update their transactions correctly and send me in writing that they will only be taking the $200 from my bank account that they gave me. I then want my account deleted and all of my information removed from their system.
We apologize for the delay in the third Cash Out. Our community advocates were able to credit the amount of your Cash Out to your account, so you will see that in your account shortly.
We are unable to adjust debits, but if you just hold on to the credited Cash Out, it will restore on your payday and even everything out, so you will technically only have the $200 debits when your direct deposits hit.
From there, if you still wish to close your account, please follow the prompts in the app. For security reasons, this needs to be done on your end. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for the debits to clear as third-party communication can sometimes take a little longer, but once the debits have cleared, you will be able to follow the steps completely.
