RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10802943, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Hi and thanks for the update with my issue with Go Daddy.com again my name is [redacted] the owner of the DJ blog network, and no one other than me had accessed to any of my user names and passwords to any account that I have, not even my daughter has my username and password, to Go Daddy how this happen I will never know. The only thing Go Daddy should've called me by phone anyone who is familiar with emails knows that they're not 100% anymore, and I do not log into my Go Daddy account every day I have no reason to do that unless I'm having some kind of issues with my blog, and then Go Daddy should have records for everything that had happened I have called the Go Daddy support I've even call them some mornings as early as 7 AM even on Sunday morning and yes they have helped me solve the problems that I've always had up until now.The only thing I was asking from Go Daddy is for them to take steps to get my domain name back I do not hear from them anymore and this please put your self where I met I have lost three years of really hard work I work weekends holidays, a build in the content on the Dj Blog Network, I even get up some mornings as early as 3 AM and start working on my stuff I work very hard and then Go Daddy even tells me to try to work out a deal with dream host in Indonesia which I will not do this just like someone breaking in your house and still in a TV it in you asking them to let you use it that just don't go with me.Now I'm going to be setting the Dj Blog Network backup under Dj Blog Network.net if I have to I would rather have my original domain name back but I will not be buying any more domain names or services from Go Daddy.com as it turns out I am not happy how things have went with them. Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns.Upon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at [redacted] .On March 14, 2015, our customer contacted GoDaddy and purchased a Virtual Private Server (VPS)This server was in use until August 10, 2017.On July 26, 2017, our customer contacted GoDaddy on two separate occasions for help with a server settingAt no time did our customer state they were unable to access the server via SSHGoDaddy did not make modifications to our customer’s VPS.On August 9, 2017, our customer contacted GoDaddy three times because of server permission errorsDuring the first two interactions, GoDaddy staff and our customer were able to access the server via SSHDuring the third interaction, it was determined the server was no longer accessible and would need to be re-provisioned; this action resets the server to its original stateRESOLUTION:GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service.VPS Virtual Private Servers are sold with the understanding that the customer is knowledgeable and can administer their own server, as they are responsible for performing any configurations, software installations, disk space allocations (e.gto email accounts, databases, websites, etc.), and troubleshooting any issues thereinThe reason we charge a server recovery attempt fee is not a punitive reason, rather, our administrators must perform data recovery work to see if the deleted content can be restoredPer our terms of service (to which our customer agreed) it is our customer's responsibility to maintain independent backup copies of data uploaded to their GoDaddy hosting account.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Stephen J***Office of the CEO - GoDaddy
