Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concernsUpon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at https://www.godaddy.com/legal-agreements.aspx.On September 25, 2016, our customer purchased a domain name transfer via an online transactionThe transfer order was for a domain they were purchasing from a third party via GoDaddy’s auction platformThe funds paid to GoDaddy were for the transfer of the domain, not the domain itself RESOLUTION:GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service.GoDaddy will refund the fees paid for the domain transfer, though we will need our customer to cancel the transfer order firstOur support staff can assist them with this process and issue a refund once the transfer is canceled within their accountAs for the fees referenced in their complaint, GoDaddy is unable to address their concerns, as these fees are neither charged by nor paid to GoDaddy.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Stephen J***Office of the CEO - GoDaddy
while I did, in fact, read the ToS prior to even purchasing my domain and hosting, I also did change my settings to ensure there would not be automatic renewalI am glad I was able to get a refund on the hosting as that was the larger payment, HOWEVER, during my phone call on the 3rd to get that refund, I was specifically told that my domain would not be renewingAnd when it renewed anyway, I contacted GoDaddy within two days of the charge - so I was not outside of the supposed days, even from the first call for incorrect billingI do not believe it is impossible to refund a charge just made, as I am very familiar with PayPal and how it functionsDenying that refund is a personal company choice, not something PayPal does not allow

Dear Revdex.com Representative(s):I am appreciative of your assistance in this matterI have received the response from the GoDaddy representativeI have also received an “refund request” that was not authorized from GoDaddy, which will be forwarded to the Revdex.com shortly and further communications should be provided through the Revdex.comI would like to formally reject the offer of $205.59, as this amount does not accurately reflect the amount that is owed for “ALL services” that were requested to be cancelled on or about May 30, The services that were requested cancelled included domain registration and hosting, and email/Microsoft related services (the cancellation for all services was made at the end of the online chat with ***)These services have not been used by myself or my law firm beyond on or about May 30, and GoDaddy has not provided such services beyond such dateIt would seem that once services are requested cancelled that a service provider is no longer providing such services and would not be entitled to keep money that was paid for such services that are no longer provided to a consumerThis is not something that I would have knowingly agreed to related to the services that were supposed to be provided by GoDaddyAs previously stated, a GoDaddy sales representative (who contacted me) represented to me that purchased services could be cancelled at anytime and refunded if cancelled prior to the ended of the contracted termThat would be November 20, for domain registration and hosting and November 20, for the email/Microsoft servicesI specifically asked about this multiple times and was assured that was the caseIf the “refund” requirements and/or terms were in fact different, then the sales person misrepresented such requirements and/or terms and did not provide a specific reference to such written requirements and/or termsAt this time, I will agree to a settlement in the amount of $220.20, which represents that money that is owed for all services that were requested cancelled on or about May 30, As stated before, I do not intend to use services from GoDaddy and remedy other the return of the money owed would not be feasible or practicalTherefore, I would like to settle this matter amicably for the amount requested by meThank you, [redacted]
