I do not accept the response from godaddy.com to resolve this complaint I did not cancel my website builder subscription in March I continued paying them on a monthly basis instead of paying them in full annually (as they did not offered a discount if paid in full) so why are these people lying that I cancelled my subscription? If I want to cancel, I would have called them personally I am not an it and I have been subscribing to them for a very long time so why are they treating me unfairly? NOT an acceptable or ethical business practice at all.Godaddy.com started as

Thank you for the opportunity to address the additional concerns presented by our customerContrary to our customer’s understanding, GoDaddy customer care agents cannot “close” customer accounts Likewise, GoDaddy cannot completely remove a customer account from our system as we retain and use this information if necessary in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements However, once all products and payment methods have been removed from an account, the account may be placed in a “deactivated” status This practice is discussed in our Privacy Policy located at the link below:Privacy Policy:https://www.godaddy.com/Agreements/Privacy.aspxCustomer care agents are unable to cancel products or remove payment methods on a customer’s behalf Ultimately, account management, including product renewals, are a customer responsibility Again, all applicable refunds have been provided to our customer.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the additional concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Mike L***Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

The response from GoDaddy.com, LLCis not in good faith and is based on claimsGoDaddy.com, LLC auctions team has not informed me of the required updates that need to be made on my Payee account despite several email requests.GoDaddy.com, LLC has not clarified what is invalid on my Payee accountMy Payee information is correct and I have repeatedly asked GoDaddy.com to clarify which information is invalid to them as "I can not change my name, my address, bank account number or phone number" (related emails have been forwarded for reference). On September 23, 2015, GoDaddy.com claimed they successfully sent payment by Check according to my Payee information, but it turned out to be promise as I never received it when the waiting period (month) elapsed. On November 05, 2015, GoDaddy.com wrote to me by email that they have stopped payment by Check, and then I provided my Bank account details on the Payee accountGoDaddy.com has not made it clear to me that the Bank account details that I have used for so long are invalid. On November 17, 2015, when I sent an email inquiring why the payment was not sent despite providing all the details, GoDaddy.com wrote to me by email that: "Thank you for contacting aftermarket supportI have sent your inquiry to our accounting department, we will update you once they are finished investigatingPlease allow 5-days"However, when days elapsed, GoDaddy.com could not reply emails concerning the same

Dear Dispute Resolution Consultant,Thank you for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the concerns presented by the complainant We have reviewed this matter and would like to present the following. The complainant acknowledged and agreed to the following agreements upon conducting business with GoDaddy:• Universal Terms of Service Agreement• Workspace Service AgreementThe latest version of these agreements can be found at: [redacted] On April 2014, the complainant purchased the email plan in question and did so for a one-year term via an online transaction This was for the period ending April 21, 2015.On April 2015, GoDaddy automatically renewed the email plan in question for a one year term per the complainant’s account preferences, and did so in a good faith effort to honor its agreements with the complainantGoDaddy sent renewal notices prior to the renewal on April 11, 2015.On May 2015, GoDaddy was notified that the complainant had disputed the aforementioned transaction through their issuing bankThe issuing bank revoked the payment for the automatic renewal of the email, pending outcome of the disputeThis chargeback removed the funds from GoDaddy for the email account renewalDue to this, and per our terms of service, the email plan in questions was subsequently cancelled.Contrary to the complainant’s understanding, the email plan was cancelled because of the chargeback that was issued by the complainant’s bank, not because a payment method was removed from the account.RESOLUTION:GoDaddy has upheld its agreements in good faith with the complainant and honored its terms of service. The complainant has since connected with our support teams and paid the chargeback administrative feeAdditionally, the complainant will need to reset up their email addresses as the previous plan was cancelled and should do so within days If the email addresses are recreated within days of the cancellation the emails should automatically restore to each email addressIf the complainant does not do this before the days from the cancellation passes, the email will no longer be recoverable. If the complainant needs any assistance with this process, they are welcome to contact our support teams.Thank you again for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the concerns presented by the complainant.Kindest regards, [redacted] ***
