Member has flooring that was installed in They just recently notified Costco about "warping and buckling". Our associated dealer who installed the floor immediately went in and looked at it, also had an independent inspection done of the flooringThe 3rd party
inspection findings confirmed that moisture penetration was possibly coming from the sub floor and causing the damageWe notified the member of these findings and suggested they contact their insurance company to file a Home Owners claimThey did so and were denied due to the fact that they are not covered for moisture. Costco emailed member letting them know again that we need to abide by the inspection findings. The member is welcome to seek their own inspection, as long as it is a certified flooring inspector, we will review the findings if they differ from what we have on fileCostco is willing to assist member but the moisture damage must be repaired and solved prior to any repair/replacement taking place

Nothing has changed. Mr*** needs to get hold of his credit company to dispute the charges. We attempted contact with him to explain his role in solving this issue for him. Thank you

Mr*** received a an explanation from American Express as to the reason his account was not transferred to Citi as part of the mass conversion of the Costco portfolio. Costco members who chose to accept a different American Express card to replace their Costco American Express card
prior to the conversion prevented their accounts from being transferred to Citi. If Mr*** wants the new Costco Visa card from Citi, his only option is to submit a new application
Mr*** objects to providing his social security number as part of the application process for the new card. Because Costco is not a financial institution and is not versed in the banking rules associated with the underwriting process, all questions regarding requirements needed to appropriately complete the application process should be directed to Citi

In order to
maintain the lowest possible prices, Costco operates a very low-margin business; that is why most people shop with us. If the number of returns from a single member is excessive, Costco loses money. It is for this reason that we track member returns and note in their profile those members whose returns are out of the norm. This is an internal Costco notation and not disclosed to others outside our company.
We would like to keep Ms*** as a member, but our internal comments will remain with her membership. If she elects to terminate her membership, we would provide a full refund of her membership fee

Mr*** contacted our warehouse and our sales auditor was able to let him know that he might have been part of a problem and that he should contact his credit card company and refute the chargesThey would then have the charges reversed right away

The warehouse has been contacted and will ensure the member receives a full refund when he brings in the product to be returned

I am rejecting this response because:That is not fair to me. I paid $ 1,for the professional installation and Costco asking me take down the defective system (The camera mount to feet high to the facial board) and mail back to them which there will be additional laborcost (Whose is going to pay for it) Also, Costco need to consider, the system is useless since it was defective (fix more than times), Costco will waste the money for shipping back the unit which is not costeffective.1. I am rejecting this response because: response provide it is an all out lie!! There was NO tire service performed at all on July 29, There were no repairs done aside from "supposedly" the technician checking the tires too review if the condition was goodThe same tire that was flat was the same tire that the sensor was supposedly bad onI do not believe the sensor was bad at all, I believe it was a scam performed so that I would spend moneyAdditionally again, it is an all out lie to advise that the tire that was serviced on August 1st was the front tire!! That is an out right lie!!! The same tire that was serviced and flat was the exact same tire that was questioned on July 29thThe new tire was placed at the front of the car due to the suggestion of the technician who advised and new tires were a better perform at the front of the carTo suggest anything less then the absolute truth is an out right lie, it's poor customer service, and I would like to take this matter a step furtherPlease advise a name and a phone number of who I can contact directly I am beyond offended that you would out right lie in this response and attempt to state anything else but the truthI will be taking this matter a step further if Costco refuses to acknowledge the truth and the services performedYou should pull your own tape and footage from your service center and ensure your information is correct before you out right lie in a written document to a customer who actually owns the car
