and left a voicemailAs I did not get a response, I also called ###-###-####
and was unable to reach a live personCiti Bank states in the letter they
strive to resolve all cardholder issues in a thorough and satisfactory manner
Is this really the caseIf so, how does money really expireWhat is happening
here is that Citi is withholding funds on an ‘expired pre-paid card’
I humbly ask the Revdex.com to
take an earnest look at my petition and do what is necessary so that mega
corporate banks such as Citi should not be protected while they ‘lawfully’ retain
citizen fundsFor example, if I take a term loan from Citi and do not fully
pay by term end, will the bank let me off the hook because the term has simply
endedI do not think soThey would be calling me and sending me letters
reminding me of my obligationCan the same logic be applied hereBanks could possibly deduct postage/resource
expenses for any reminders sent to the citizens on pre-paid cards that remain
unused after a pre-imposed expiration date but they simply should not be
allowed to keep hard earned money from public individuals like me claiming a
card/term has expired
Many folks like me may not have the time to folland
write to you, but at the same time, I wonder how much
funds are ‘lost’/retained as such by these corporationsI hope this disturbing
trend in the marketplace and the associated challenges people are facing to
retrieve their money will help eventually add additional
federal consumer financial laws and precipitate new rules and regulations to better
protect the common folksThank you in

The business has simply restated the complaint and indicated that I did not contact them to reallocate the paymentsHowever, I was not made aware of this requirementIn addition, there card Fact Sheets indicates that the minimum payment is calculated based on the new balance plus any amounts from the promotional offersIf this is correct, then why would the payments made on the account not also be applied to the promotional amounts if that is what is used to determine the minimum amount dueNothing on this Card Fact Sheet sent to me indicates that I need to contact them to have payments allocated to my account in a certain mannerTheir statement does not satisfy my question about why no monies were applied to the promotional balance and then to be charged about 75% of this balance as interest accruedTherefore, I do not feel that their response helps to resolve this issue in any manner

Their response to my complaint basically said that I had little time to pay my balance before my account is charged offA long response and copies of my statements were mailed to meMy request to have credit reporting updated was not honoredThat is unacceptable, especially because of the horrible customer service I have receivedI have never, ever had a problem with a credit card / financial institution like I have had with this Citi credit card.

They have failed to remove the infoI have called several times to follow up and they transfer me from department to departmentFinally I get a letter in the mail saying they will not renove the late paymentThen I recieve a call saying if I can get a letter from my bank stating "united central bank and *** bank merged" which I didThey have failed to remove it so far I have mailed over this document from my bank to them.

Citibank offered to credit the interest assuming I pay the remaining balance by the next payment. The reality is the refrigerator was damaged in transit. At first I rejected it out-right and after some discussion, agreed to a $adjustment to the price if I accepted it and there were no other problems. So far there have been none. I also asked them to discontinue and credit me for the $Maintenance/Service plan which on the latest receipt appears tpo be priced @ $190. I recently received an e-mail with a credit for what appears to be $259.80. I'm thinking after tax, the total credit should be $433, $+$+ tax (8.125% * $400). I would be agreeable to paying the original balance minus the total credit due of $and the $I've already paid in the next billing cycle, assuming I can get a correct statement to that effect.While I think there is agreement in principle, I have not seen the above $in credits reflected in any written documentation I've received from *** *** or the bank/credit card processor. The letter they sent me says I need to pay $2,by February **,which does not reflect the above credits for damage to the refrigerator nor the discontinuance of the service plan.I think this experience shows why it was inappropriate for them to bill me and ask me to pay them before the refrigerator was received as it was not delivered in the condition advertised. The letter I received from *** *** at Citibank has no phone number on it to discuss this with them. Furthermore, there is a typographical error in the letter in that it shows the refrigerator was delivered on Tuesday, January **, when it was actually delivered on Tuesday, January **, 2015.Thanks, ***
