This company continues to send mail and contact my mother by
phoneNow they have managed to get into her checking account and write a phoney unsigned check and remove I have turned them over to the fraud department at the bankThe bank is unsure if they can get her money backSomething really needs to be done about this outfitThey are bilking people out of money by making them think they OWE somethingI have copies of everything if you would like me to send them including the money they took out of her accountThis caused her to have to close her checking accountShe is years old and doesn't need this harassment or hassleThis case is not closed or resolved by any means

Considering Ms***'s illness, we would be happy to cancel her coverage and refund the money she has paid into her contract
Ms*** will be receiving the down payment she made credited back to her Visa Card within 3-business daysThe remainder of her refund, payment made, will be mailed to her P O *** *** address by United Car Care...the administrator of her coverageShe should be receiving that refund check in 10-days

We do not show any phone calls in our system from the number listed in this complaint
If *** can provide the ID number that appears on the mailed advertisements
sent on our behalf, we would be able to determine if the mailer was sent by another company or if it was sent on our behalf
Until it can be determined if the mail piece was sent by our company, we respectfully request this complaint be closed as invalid

As CarShield is the Marketer/Seller of the United Car Care Service Contract Mr*** purchased, we have no authority over repair claim decisions make by United Car Care.Any dispute Mr*** has regarding a claim decision would need to be submitted to the Denver Revdex.com, directed at United Car Care; the adminnistrator/obligor of Mr***'s service contract This information is listed in Mr***'s contract under the arbitration section (J) of the contract United Car Care's contact information is also listed in the contract on the first page under administrator/obligor

phone number you have provided in this complaint. Very often a consumer is receiving phone calls from different marketers, then they receive one of our mailers and assume the phone calls are coming from our company when they are not. Our company does not "cold call" consumers. The only reason our company would call you would be if you requested a quote online or if you were a past customer of ours that is nearing renewal time.We are sorry for the inconvenience you are going through receiving unwanted phone solicitations. Thank you for bringing this to our attention We appreciate the opportunity to respond to and help in the resolution of this matter.Mr*** purchased the United Car Care Powertrain Gold coverage for his Nissan Maxima on June 22, stating that he had 105,miles on his vehicle
According to United Car Care's claim notes, an internal engine failure claim was submitted on on July 25, with his repair shop stating that Mr***'s vehicle had 89,miles on the odometer United Car Care denied this claim as there was a large mileage discrepancy, leaving United Car Care unable to verify if Mr***'s vehicle was out of his waiting period by miles This contract has a waiting period of miles and days, as stated in the contract and during the sales call.United Car Care offered to refund Mr*** in full for all monies he had paid in to his contract as the large mileage discrepancy voids the coverage; or Mr*** could choose to re-write the coverage with the correct mileage and begin waiting period at that point.If Mr*** has any disputes regarding this claim denial; he would need to direct them toward United Car Care, as it states in his contract under the arbitration section (J) It states, "In the event of any dispute concerning the interpretation of your contract, you agree that it shall be resolved by arbitration by the Denver Revdex.com in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Revdex.com"Please direct this dispute to the Denver Revdex.com United Car Care's address, as it appears in your contract on page among others, is United Car Care, * * *** *** *** *** ** ***We hope this information helps in the resolution of this matter

We would be happy to provide Mr. [redacted] with a breakdown of his prorated refund. The total cost of the contract was $2453.00.  The refund is based on time or miles, whichever one was most used.  65.058223% of the mileage was used.  When this is multiplied by the total cost of...

the coverage, $1595.88 of the contract was used.A down payment of $150.00 plus 23 monthly payments of $95.96 were made, totaling $2357.08.  We then subtract the total monetary amount of coverage used of $1595.88.  Subtract the cancellation fee of $50.00 and that leaves the prorated refund amount of $711.20.This should help clarify the prorated refund you received.Respectfully....

I am rejecting this response because:Obviously they have called me before because I have messages on my machine that they have left me - I'm not sure why they would say they haven't contacted me. It seems that you would be able to obtain one of their phone bills and cross reference the phone numbers they are calling with those listed on the Do Not Call Registry. I'm sure I'm not the only person they keep harassing.
