I am rejecting this response because:
The issue has not been resolved nor has Washington Gas scheduled a visit to the property to inspect and fix their gas meterI called twice on Monday (9/25) to have an appointment scheduled and was told I would receive a call from the meter department within to hoursAs of today (9/29), I have not received a call from Washington Gas to schedule a time to inspect the gas meterI also asked the customer service representative to speak with the meter department so I could follow up; the customer service representative was unable to provide a contact in the meter departmentI also asked that the customer service representative to email the meter department and copy me, which they agreed, but I have not received an emailI provided my email address and the customer service representative confirmedI am not receiving actual meter readings, I am being billed on the amount that was used last year, which may be different from the current year, creating unneeded uncertainty. In addition, when this issue started around in December 2016, they would have used readings from December at which point I was not a resident of the apartmentI have not been billed on an actual meter reading for about months nowThere is no way to follow up with Washington Gas' meter department as customer service representatives will not transfer you and cannot setup an appointmentWashington Gas customer service representatives can only send the meter department a messageEvery time that I have called I get the same message from the customer service representatives that they will forward a message to the meter department, at which point the meter department will never follow up allowing the issue to persist beyond any reasonable time periodI have been calling about 3-times a month since February to have this issue corrected with no resolutionI would like Washington Gas to email me at ***@***.com to schedule an appointment as soon as possible.Regards,

I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate the business' response However, it does not excuse the fact that I was repeatedly told -- every month for several months -- that the problem was fixed and that my account would be paid as planned If there was a continued problem, I should have been told to resubmit and should not have had to deal with customer service and constant harassing letters regarding a delinquent account that Washington Gas caused

I am rejecting this response because: I don't think $is enoughI have spent several hours, no call backs, 0poor customer service for an issue that was not imitated and can't believe that hey would switch my account with authorizationI think that this is not a consumer friendly company and they need to take ownership for their neglect and should compensated for the error that occurred for the last months.

I am rejecting this response because: The charge in question ($25) was removed and then re-applied to my monthly bill. As stated previously, $25 was assessed to my September bill along with the recharge of the January bill (see atched). The total came to $165.59 which I paid. As such I want my $25 returned. I am providing the requested documents (atchs 2-4). The September bill (atch 3, pg 2) clearly shows that Washington Gas removed the Return Charge (marked Returned in red) and then recharged me the same amount for the same reason (marked Re-charged in red). In so doing my bill for that month totaled $165.59. The October bill (atch 4, pg 2) clearly shows I paid this amount and it was credited to my account. As such, contrary to what Washington Gas has asserted time and again, the $25 return charge, caused by their error, was not waived. I am therefore owed $25.

September 27, 20171411 K St. NW, 10th FloorWashington DC 20005-3404Washington Gas Account #[redacted]Dear Revdex.com, Washington Gas is in receipt of your rebuttal to the previous submission regarding removal of the meter at address of [redacted] Ave, Bethesda, MD 20816. Once again, we would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have caused. review. The amount billed to the customer, i.e. DR Charge or “catch-up bill,” represents the estimated energy used by a DR (Didn’t Register) Meter for a period of time.Particularly with above customer’s case, the meter that was replaced and brought to the meter shop registered a 164.03052 Base Coef. In order to get the estimated energy used, it’s multiplied to the number of days in the period of DR (157 days). In total, the account generated a 25,752.8 Therms for 157 days. Normally, this will be billed in dollars by Washington Gas’ lowest rate on distribution and PGC. But because the billing account is under a third party supplier ([redacted]), only the distribution was billed to customer upfront: 25,752.8 Therms for $ 0.1199 = $3087.76 for distribution. The DR charge is forwarded to the 3rd party supplier for their calculation. We’ve contacted the customer to explain this verbally. As of this time, we’re still in contact with them as the customer made further inquiries that’s answerable after successful liaison with billing department. We will contact them again as soon as we get answers to the customer’s additional queries. For inquiries and follow-up, the customer can reach us thru our customer service hotline at ###-###-####.Thank you for the opportunity to review this matter for you.Sincerely, Daniel ASpecialistConsumer Relations
