resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I appreciate the business's honesty in recognizing the validity of my complaint. However they still have not fully credited my account with the appropriate for all the debits that were made on my account. The special reward of $9.40 that was credited on 8/26 seem somewhat arbitrary to me since it does not correspond to all the debits I made in the previous month. I understand that the rewards may take up to 60 days, so I will be looking to see if they will make further credits for small debits ($1 or less) that has not been credited yet. Currently, I notice that their system will only automatically credit me the reward if the debits are more than $1.

not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The issue here is not whether the fees were valid or not. The fees are by their very nature invalid as [redacted] has requested that the overdraft service be removed from the account at multiple occasions during our conversations with the representatives from capital one. This is why the fees need to be reversed. Customer had requested for the service to be turned off but was misinformed of the inability to do so.

Although the response which I received from Capital One indicates that the information was requested through the correct page, the representative still could have stolen my information (and may have, in fact, already done so). For this reason, I demand your bank collect sensitive chat information such as dates of birth which the rep can only see as verified, that is to say, not the exact information like the particular numbers for the dates of birth and the like which can be harvested by reps and misused. The verification page keeps the exact numbers from the knowledge of the reps. Hence, if the numbers match what is listed on file, then I am verified by machine and can further chat with the human rep. This keeps my sensitive information much safer. Capital One has provided me with no proof that this information which I have provided has not later been misused against my best interests. That's why some people like me may prefer to use chat with a third-party verification in lieu of a phone conversation. As a form of reimbursement for this dangerous policy, I demand a complete reimbursement for one month of each statement's minimum payment due amount once there becomes a minimum payment due amount for each account of mine to convince Capital One to handle ALL identifying information in a much more responsible manner through verification processes which do not hand over the raw data like dates of birth to the reps.

They document they made inquiries of my credit bureau accounts. That supports my complaint. However, from 2010 to current I have not applied for an auto loan. Due to this they made inquiries of my credit bureau accounts without my permission and without a legitimate business purpose. Please cause them to delete their inquiries from my credit bureau accounts as this is harming my credit.

I over paid by a thousand dollars on my credit card on 10-26-2015 On 10-27-2015 I requested a refund of the overpayment. It is now 11-16-2015 and still no refundI have talked to several supervisors and all have said it will be taken care of. my last two calls resulted in no check sent . money will be deposited directly into my checking account over night last call said it would take at least 5 business days to complete the transaction. I won't hold my breath on that one All this from a company that has a business motto that says "DO THE RIGHT THING". I thought it meant for the customer satisfaction but I was wrong silly me.

The offer states the same thing my initial complaint is about. My accounts have not been combined and there is no reason as to why they were denied. This reply on the behalf of Capital One is repetative. The message stated the same things exact reasoning Capital Ones customer service dept. told me which does not fix the problem nor tells me the reason why the problem exist.

Re: Account ending in [redacted] Capital One Case: [redacted] Revdex.com No: [redacted] Dear [redacted], I am responding to our phone conversation on February 20, 2015, concerning your complaint received by the Revdex.com regarding...
your account. Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns regarding the servicing of your account. Your April 2014 billing statement advised that your minimum payment in the amount of $25.00 was due on May 24, 2014. Also, your April 2014 billing statement closed with a balance in the amount of $299.12. Your May 2014 billing statement advised that your payment received on May 21, 2014, in the amount of $25.00 was returned on the same day. Your September 2014 billing statements also advised that your payments in the amounts of $20.00 were received on August 29, 2014, and on September 12, 2014. On January 7, 2015, and January 22, 2015, we received your payments in the amounts of $25.00. The minimum payment due for January 24, 2015, was for $189.00. If you have additional questions or concerns, please give me a call at 800-955-1455, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. PT. Sincerely,[redacted], on behalf of Capital One
On July 2010, Capital One specifically states in its own letter that it accepted a new agreement. However, they still marked my payments late on July 2010 to September 2010 even though I...
abided by the agreement.
If the account was previously late, why didn't they mark the payments late prior to July 2010?
The letter contradicts itself. However, thanks for the letter to support the facts for my arbitration demand in JAMS! Best regards, [redacted]

complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Capital One violated my consumer rights by not obtaining my permission before attempting to pigeon hole my credit ratios. I am aware of this tactic to increase profits by suttle cohersion to steer persons an unwanted nor solicitated tactic attempted by them, which is no more than an attempt to control my credit standing and it's an attempt to steer me and hold hostage my ability to direct and maximize my credit future. I am appalled and the entire uninformed public should be aware of this underhanded and underminded intentional practice. No Capital One, you are predictors on the disadvantaged and how dare you attempt to portray yourself otherwise. I appreciate the fact that credit was extended initally of which I have no intention of abusing. I will not ideally stand by and not go forward in addressing this practice. I know they can not legally cancel my card due to consumer protection laws unless I violate can the terms of agreement. Since I have not violated these terms and paid off my balances in an expedite manner. Capital One should rethink this response and follow back up with as promused for I am still awaiting the return telephone call from the representative whom promised to call me back within 72 hours if memory serves me correctly. This matter us far from being over at this point. The fact that I have been not only disrespect by the actions the fact that they didn't keep their word justifies the initial purpose of my complaint, it has only compiled the issues..Regards,[redacted]

I was aware of the cutoff time and made sure to make the payment before the cutoff. The system would only allow me to select "Other amount" and make the payment the next day. It was on your end, not mine.

I would like to have verified that I called on July 24, 2014 requesting a settlement (you say your records show that. Who called? Me? [redacted] Source?). In fact, it was [redacted] Source who continued to call me and offer settlements without ever explaining the tax implication! I finally agreed when the amount seemed okay. Why would I agree to a settlement that left a balance of $661.13, that is~ $62.00 over the $600.00 debt forgiveness for tax purposes - that doesn't make sense! I don't believe you are aware of how [redacted] Source, whom you placed my account with, dealt with me.
In addition, your response says that I received a call concerning the issuance of the 1099-C and it was read to me again on a second time on July 24, 2015. Hmmn, I believe that is in the future and I certainly haven't received that call yet. (Nor have I ever received a call to explain that I am aware of).
In fact, you couldn't even find a copy of the 1099-C you sent me and I had to have our tax preparer make a copy and fax it to you.
I don't understand how we paid over $3000.00 on a $3,987.80 debt and received from you a 1099-C for ~ $3,987.00? My tax preparer has the only copy of the 1099-C at this moment so I'm not sure of the exact amount until Monday but need to send this now due to the Revdex.com's time limitations for my response. My number is 707-357-1152. I've not been able to locate your number or make it through the maze of your automated system.

complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I spoke with [redacted] on Wednesday. He informed me that the late payments are accurate and they would not be able to remove them from my credit report. I have never questioned the accuracy. The report is accurate. I would like to have them removed because I believe they are hurting my credit score, and it has been well over 2 1/2 years. I have kept my account in perfect standing since then. I know that they are able to request at any time that the credit bureaus remove them, and the bureaus typically adhere to the company's' requests. In fact, I have another creditor who removed a late payment from the same time frame. It is inaccurate for them to say they are unable to, and is also poor customer service. I have had this particular credit card for over 10 years now, so I would expect better customer service. Also, I remembered some additional details after reporting this, and I brought them up with Nick. After being late the first 2 months, I was able to make an arrangement with Capital One in order to get caught up on the minimum payment. They agreed to not charge late fees for 3 months in order to give me a chance to get caught up, and the agent even outlined approximate monthly payments to get me caught up before late payment fees resumed. He never mentioned anything about reporting additional late payments to the credit bureaus. Not only did they continue reporting them, but then they dinged me with a 60 day late payment. Come to think of it, that 60 day is probably inaccurate. I made a payment every single one of those months, so even if the last one was late it would be only 30 days late. I will most likely cancel this account after I pay off the card if these late payments are not removed from my credit reports.
