According to all my documents there was no payment due for September, so when I didn't pay October because my deposit would have more than covered it and should have already been returned. It still was not 30 days late in October. The only thing that I am disputing is how October 2016 is reporting on my credit report. I was not 30 days late. I find it funny it took another 2 months to get the remainder of my deposit back too, but that's not what I am disputing.

I have always had great service from Capital One regarding my credit card. Like any credit card company, the rates are high and they have no late payment grace period, but everything else has been good. I applaud their fraud watching...they have actually denied a couple of my legitimate online big dollar amount purchases that appeared like they could have been bogus charges because they weren't common charges, but Capital One contacted me in less than a minute from denial to verify the potential fraud and we got it sorted out and my purchase made within minutes of my first attempt. Very minimal inconvenience for the knowledge that they are watching for potential fraud charges so proactively. I have also had to do a couple of charge disputes--both over $1,000.00 and Capital One has been great. Yes it's a little bit of a hassle to answer all the questions so they have the necessary information to pursue the claim, but I appreciate them getting all the necessary information up front so I don't need to continuously provide information or duplicate information to them, and they have always immediately credited my card the disputed amount so I don't have to pay the amount and wait for reimbursement.

My overall complaint against this company is the CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED. In their response to my initial complaint they offered me $100 as "peace offering" but basically still told me I was wrong, citing the customer agreement. The purpose of my complaint was not to look for additional credits to my account, I was satisfied with those I had already been given as a result of my initial call to the customer service department. The overall purpose of my complaint was to enact change to the policy of indiscriminately cutting off users from accessing credit, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ACCOUNT HISTORY WITH THE COMPANY! For example, I have a relatively large credit line with this company, that I use and pay off IN FULL EVERY MONTH, yet one month I am 4 days late due to an illness and suddenly my credit is revoked? I feel that this is a terrible practice. I understand that if I , or other customers in my position, were chronically late, had bad credit with the company or both than this would be a reasonable action but to just send me a response stating "Here's a hundred bucks for your trouble and by the way, our agreement says we can do whatever we want, whenever we want and to whom-ever we want no questions asked because you signed it"...I'm sorry, that's un-acceptable. These actions by the company are in THEIR BEST INTEREST not in the best interest of both parties. These actions lead to humiliating consequences for their customers and worse, if the customers affected are not like me, these actions lead to what must easily be hundreds of thousands if not millions worth of fees for the company as a result of these predatory actions. This needs to be stopped and everyone should have the ability to find this complaint and see what could result by doing business with this company.
In their response the company states that the services agreement states that they can take this action when ever they want. However, the service agreement is easily 15 pages, front and back, long and the type is so small that it would easily take a team of attorneys to digest the information contained within. Fine, however, my complaint acknowledged the possibility thereto and asked that, at the very least, the company institute a policy either being more selective of those that they apply these practices against or at least make it perfectly clear, either by large bold-face or separate letter, that this is a possibility. The company's response to me totally ignored that request and, again, just gave me a credit and told me I was wrong, read the giant contract. I am looking for more culpability and acknowledgement that what has transpired is, at the very least, bad customer service if not overtly vindictive against customers who don't deserve such actions.
I ask that the representative that reviews this response review my initial complaint and acknowledge it accordingly, rather than throw money at the issue in an effort to try an hide the true issues by "shutting me up".

I have tried to opt-out a number of times and I continue to received unwanted offers. I hate you Capital One! I will never ever use your company out of sheer annoyance for the weekly junk mail offers I get from you.

This is a duplicate case we previously received through the CFPB regulatory channel for this customer. We will be responding to the CFPB with our response.

I appreciate the business's honesty in recognizing the validity of my complaint. However they still have not fully credited my account with the appropriate for all the debits that were made on my account. The special reward of $9.40 that was credited on 8/26 seem somewhat arbitrary to me since it does not correspond to all the debits I made in the previous month.  I understand that the rewards may take up to 60 days, so I will be looking to see if they will make further credits for small debits ($1 or less) that has not been credited yet. Currently, I notice that their system will only automatically credit me the reward if the debits are more than $1.

Opened up a spark business account 6 months ago at capital 1 bank in glen allen Virginia,
To date I still have no working PIN number and the first time I actually go to use the card it gets declined so I call the number on the back and am prodded to go through 3 different surveys on vacations to my age to auto insurance , if you don't answer the system hangs up on you so now I'm am at the branch waiting as usual as I have every time I've tried to get a PIN number straight ,
But 1 person working nobody else's knows anything.
I assure you if you have a business this is the last place you want to bank!

[redacted]I received a letter from the Capital One Auto Finance in regards to a complaint I placed with Revdex.com.org. They did not resolve my issue and the fact of the matter stands that I did in fact make arrangements with the company regarding the May 30th payment so it was not late. I had to make arrangements b/c of a mix up on their part. I am asking that this 30 day late payment be taken off my credit report.

1. They correctly stated that my payment was late, which is not what I'm disputing, they have yet to acknowledge or address the fact of the why my payment was late. 2. They stated that they cannot change what was reported to the credit agency which has negatively affected my credit, this is simply false. There is no regulation or law prohibiting them from retraction. They voluntarily reported my late payment, they can also retract that report as well, especially if it was done in error under mitigating factors.
3. They clearly articulated my payment history, I paid from account ending [redacted] on Aug 2nd fulfilling my repayment schedule for the month of August. After verifying my payment account was setup correctly I CHANGED the auto-payment schedule and account to which to draw from for the following month from Account ending in [redacted] to Account ending in [redacted]. Their billing system automatically tried to withdraw a 2nd payment for the month of August on Aug 13th, from the previous/old auto-payment account ending in [redacted], and subsequently was returned as I had closed that account. Upon receiving a closed account notification and return payment in the auto-payment portion of my account, unknown to me as there was never any communication about this, this canceled all future planned and previously setup auto-payments from valid accounts, ending in [redacted].
4. After the returned payment I even paid again with the new account ending in [redacted] on Aug 18th, however given the denied auto-payment, the auto-payment feature no longer worked. I had
5. My claim is, my payment was incorrectly marked as 30 days late because of a faulty auto-payment system, and thus is inaccurate to that effect. There was no notification other than a singular received email on Nov. 16th to notify my the status of my account as late and a missed payment, and then a phone call on Nov. 17th. At time I paid immediately.
6. I had moved across the country on Sept 6th, from [redacted] to [redacted], with a *  month old baby and thus spent extra time ensuring this was setup correctly as to not miss a payment specifically and not have to check my accounts in detail during this time period. Clearly I failed at that.
7. I have never been late for this account in its history, nor have I been late on any other credit card account as far as my history exists. This only happened due to an auto-payment mistake and my credit score should not be held liable for this. I'm currently trying to purchase a home and this dropped my credit score below [redacted] which prevents my family from qualifying for a discounted mortgage. This lack of accuracy on my credit score is hurting my financial well being and unfair.
8. They're willing to refund a late payment, however they are unwilling to change what was VOLUNTARILY reported to the credit bureaus, even though there is a clear bonafide error with their auto-payment system and not a reflection on my true willingness or ability to responsibly repay debts.

Capital One refunded the $[redacted] but did not clearly specify what that was for.

I can not seem to get anyone at Capital One to unlock my password. I was on the phone for hours as I got transferred back and forth and no one could do it. This all started because Capital One created a new IPHONE App that no longer allows one to use both banking and Credit cards. I would advise staying away from the Capital One app if you have separate passwords for both credit card and banking it will end up locking you out of your accounts,
