Easy to use, reasonable prices, fast, good installation
This is a terrible companyI had them come out to do flooring and blindsI canceled the flooring because I was not sure about itThe blinds I did not cancelafter weeks no one came to take measurementswe called and they told us that we did not order blinds...yet I put a $deposit down on themthen called back and stated that the measurements had been completed but that was impossible because no one ever came to our houseWith so much frustration we canceled our blinds order...it had been a month alreadyNow I can not get anyone at this terrible company to give me my $deposit back .I have called several times and each time no one helps me...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...they are liars and cheaters
Had sq feet of Frieze installed three weeks ago to replace all carpet in house Salesman was incredibly helpful, brought in several samples even though his first suggestion was the best choice Installers were great, very professional, worked amazingly fast considering how much was installed All scheduling calls were received from company on time, plus the follow up call to ensure all expectations were met Could not be happier with the carpet, each step is like heaven Very happy with the company in all aspects Thank you Empire
There customer service is a lil rough but there installers are amazing very glad I choose them very well done A+
I had a tile installation scheduled for 4/and carpet scheduled for 4/28, I removed a sink and a vanity in one of the rooms and removed the washer and dryer out of one of the rooms to get the rooms ready for the installation They called me the day of the tile installation to cancel, and told me it could not be done until 5/Meanwhile I have a washer and dryer in my family room, and a bathroom with no sink or vanity to deal with for weeks They have done nothing to try and get this done sooner, and I have not heard anything from them
Part 2:
kitchen floorShortly after I hung up the phone, the installers and inspector came back inside with the new plan of replacing the entire floor with grout
Upon the start of the second project that day, the inspector admitted to Amber and I that Empire Today had thought we were lying to them about the condition of our floorsWe also found out, from the inspector that they were aware of the improper installation of the ceramic tiles and that they knew that, eventually, the tiles would chip due to the improper grout linesThe inspector proceeded to tell us that the installers were not allowed to warn us of this possibility so they continued with the first installation
At this point, 10:a.mthey began the second installation of the entry way and kitchenThis time around the installers went way out of their way to make sure we were entirely satisfiedThis included brand new quarter round, new one inch subfloor, protective plastic for the carpet, and extremely expensive grout to prevent future problemsWe also learned that Empire Today was forcing the installers to pay for everything out of pocket because Empire Today blamed them for the issuesThe inspector lead Amber and I to believe that this entire issue could have been prevented from the start
The installers work ethic, quality, and punctuality are not to blame for this disputeIf they truly were forced to work on this project, a second time, for free, that is wrongEmpire Today is at fault for what the installers were not allowed to tell us from the beginningUpon conclusion of our business, we were entirely satisfied with the finished productGood Job *** and Erik *** but we will not be seeking further business with Empire today, tomorrow, or any future date, along with discouraging others from doing business with Empire Today

Empire Today did a beautiful job I chose the best carpet product and underneath padding they had and had them install it in bedrooms The entire house now seems new They installed my vinyl flooring years ago and that still looks wonderful The sales person was very knowledgeable and the installers did an amazing job
Salesman lied about fixing flooring squeaksThat issue was resolved to our satisfactionHowever other issues regarding options for padding were notRepeated calls to the office and sales manager went unanswered and unreturned for weeksWe finally gave up
Their outside installation contractors however were great guys and helped ease the pain of dealing with empire today
Look elsewhere for carpet and flooring Empire is only interested in turn and burn salesCustomer service isn't something the care about at all
We did not get any overdraft on this claimWe have already called her, she has to wait until May 20th for the bank statementI told her to come to our shop to see our bank statement, because we did not receive any overdraft
In August I ordered tile, carpet and hard wood They sent an installer to do the tile and he did such a poor job he had to tear it up Did not have the proper tools to do the job
Sent out carpet and hardwood installers who did a good job but the trim around the hard wood was white and not the color of the wood The installer called the company about the error They told him they would order the correct color Never did It has taken me weeks of no shows, lost count of phone calls to customer service who had to call some one else and a return call could take up to days each time
My third appoint to have this done was today I had to call the customer service (only # you can call) who claimed I had a appointment and they would give me a callafter waiting till 2:and calling times they finally called to tell me they could not make it If I hadn't called all day I never would have known The install promised me he would come tomorrow morning Believe it when I see it
After the disaster tile install they sent out another guy who basically did a good job but didn't have all the tools he needed to complete the job Had to have them come back and finish the job Again took several calls but finally they came out and finished the job
Overall this has been a very frustrating experience that I hope will be over tomorrow
Calling customer service is a joke
The entire experience with Empire Today was extremely professional from scheduling the appt., the sales repand the installers They were on time on the day of the installation Would definitely recommend
My husband and I recently purchased a new condo in Florida We wanted to upgrade the unitFor years we had been seeing the Empire commercials We decided to give them a tryOur salesman came out to our condo to show us the samples and sell us on the productsHe was great and he made us feel like this was the right decision We purchased tile and carpet on that day and mentioned we wanted to purchase blinds and shutters in a few weeks We first ran into an issue with needing underlayment for a sound barrier under the tileWe had to postpone the installation twice because Empire could not get it I had made numerous phone calls to Empire trying to speak to a decision maker or managerNo one could ever connect me to a manager I was supposed to have three returned phone calls that never happenedWe had to wait a full weekThe first day they came out to the job, they didn't arrive till noon The workers did not have proof of liability insurance therefore the condo assoc stopped the jobIt took business days a many more phone calls to get the COI They came back out to the job on Wedesday of this week They were supposed to be here before 10am and they didn't arrive until noon I was promised the job would be completed by FridayOn Thursday, they didn't arrive on the job till after 10am when they were supposed to be here by 8:30amWhen I spoke to the installer that day, he said they would complete the job by the end of the day Saturday I was told by the super that they would have 3-people on the job and not to worryI just got home from work and check on the job I was told by the installer that they would only have two areas completed by the end of the day Saturday I have had lost time at work, my contractor has not been able to work the last two weeks on the job, and I am not going to be able to move out of my apartment on time costing me even more moneyThis has been the worst experience ever No one at Empire cares about their customers even though they say the customer is TOP PRIORITY
