The best floor covering experience ever, and I have had many Can't say enough about the installation team First class
I had a wonderful experience with Empire The company is very professional from the consultant that came to my condo who helped me pick out beautiful carpet for both bedroomsto the professional installers of the carpet It took them hour to install and they vacuumed and cleaned up very well I could not believe how beautiful my carpets looked Even my painter said so too
I had a wonderful experience with Empire from start to finish! I loved the fact that the samples we're brought to my home for me to choose from without having to deal with the hassel of going back and forth to the stores to choose what looked best in my kitchenThe sales associate was professional and very kindThe installers we're equally as helpful and kind and at no point did we ever feel uncomfortableOver-all we are 100% satisfied and our new kitchen floor looks amazing just in time for the holidays!
We replaced carpeting in a large finished basement and three bedrooms The price was equal to other estimates, and installation was completed as scheduled The installers were were very hard-working and completed the task in one day The clewas thorough and appreciated

Firstly, my complaint has nothing to do with the delayed installation regarding the potential Asbestos, in which Empire Today brought to my attention AFTER I filed a complaint with the Revdex.comWe addressed the potential Asbestos issue on the telephone yet the company wrote a paragraph rehashing it?? A simple statement stating "pending the potential Asbestos problem in homeowner's resident, we cannot proceed with the installation" would have sufficedI would have appreciated if Empire Today spent more of its time responding to the matter regarding the scheduling of the initial installation of the carpet and ceramic tile and how it neglected and poorly informed me of its installation procedures - you know the ONLY reason for the Revdex.com complaintSecondly, the company has yet, AGAIN, failed to issue an apologyWOW

We were to have laminate put down in three roomsThe lady came out and was very sweet and niceI picked out what I wanted and paid for itShe set up a installment date which was today NovThey called yesterday and left a message and said something about it being back ordered or something I called several times today trying to get someone to help me but no one would tell me what I ask forAll I wanted was someone to tell me if they had the flooring I wanted or when they were going to rescheduleNo one ever called me backI am very upset over thisTrying to fix my house up a little and this is something no one should have to go thruWould not recommend Empire flooringDonna
Purchased a carpet a few years backcarpet started coming apart very shortly after I installationCalled empire to get it resolved, they said that we didn't complain early enoughBottom line they wanted their money plus interestAs far as we're concerned we paid for that mangled mess of a carpet that we would be happy to show pictures of the lousy quality and shoddy installation that these crooks want full compensation forThe real problem is that these sneaky chumps sold the loan to ** ***So how do we go about fighting this?
Empire today was the worst experience we had ever had for flooring, please don't use them for your flooring needs, I bet there is some other company withe better service
I don't want to go long but the sales person Aaron, made a quote for my carpet with a high quality padding that the installers didn't bring with them and that happened twiceI was going to put carpet in every roo except the game room, that was going to be hardwood, when the installer came the first time, they told me that wouldn't work, so we had to cancel that order and change it to carpetI calle the offices and talked to James he told me he was going to give me the upgrade for the padding at nos cot, but Aaron did the quote with the high quality padding, and guess what, the installers the second time around came with the regular padding againJames gave me my new quote, he told me my deposit was refunded and the quote he gave me was including the deposit, he gave me a discount because by this time I have called like so many times, and everyone gives you different information and don't treat you very niceSo we had the carpets installed with the regular padding and had to call again to Empire and Ruben gave me money back from the paddingI appreciated that but guess what, the quote included my master closet and the installers didn't have the material for thatCalled Empire, Ruben again and he told me" You are right it was included, we can install other day" It has been days and I haven't heard back from the installation department, I don't know if they will install it or not, keep waitingSo the carpet was installed, the ave me my quote and the next day I receive a call from finance, "are they installing your hardwood?" What????? they came yesterday to install my carpet not hardwoodWell your deposit was refunded, and you have to pay it againWhat??? James told everything was going to be charged in my month no interest card I got from themMegan the finance manager, was not very nice and she wanted to charge me 1,USD more, I said no way, by this time I was super madSo I talked to Ruben again and he fixed everything with the quote James gave me, I haven't been charged, don't know how will this end and guess what if you want to talk to a manager or supervisor, they are never availablei would never recommend Empire Today, please it is a big company with very bad service and they don't give you what you are toldDon't use them for anything like a wrote earlier, investigate and you probably will find a family owned business or other company that is way better than Empire Today
This company provided nothing but stress, once the order was placed, til the install was completed! The salesman seemed to be competent and polite, however, told us several untruths! History follows: ET attempted to postpone installation for two days (after my husband had taken off work for the install!); miraculously ET somehow found the time to install on the original date; ET sent two very courteous and competent installers, whose knowledge of English (we don't speak Spanish, and the salesman was told that!) was next to ZERO, forcing us to see the aid of Spanish-speaking friends from miles away TWICE, to make sure that the installers understood certain elements of the job; since we are senior citizens (and I am disabled), salesman informed us that the installers would move the frig, range and entertainment center out of the room and then back in place; installers are sub-contractors and NOT bonded to move furniture, but because of the dilemma, conceded to help move it out, but forced us to again seek help to move it back in; sent the installers with no carpet to do a small room, necessitating a reschedule to complete; the reschedule was to take place in 2-days, however, a call to ET couldn't reschedule til days later I want to make it perfectly clear here, that the installers were NOT AT FAULT, during any phase of this process!! I've learned that ET promises furniture/appliance moves, but the installers ARE NOT BONDED, creating a very unnecessary stressful experience for the customer, who has laid out very good money to have this service provided, as stated The installers may not have understood English, however, you can be absolutely certain that they understood stress, anger and virtual helplessness! I'd give the installers stars, but Empire Today rates a 0!
We hired this company to lay hardwood in four rooms in our house - days of installation to be Feb4th and Feb5th, The hardwood workers came in on Thursday the 4th and worked on the one room on lower level, then proceeded upstars and got one room upstairs and partially completed another upstairs bedroom There were four workers at our home on the 4th On Friday, the 5th, of the hardwood crew came back (one called in sick) and they all began working upstairs
The next crew to remove carpet in all upstairs closets and replace with new carpet There were four of them and they arrived around 1:pm Our wacloset is located in our master bath which is connected to our master bedroom, so all four of them were in our master (some working, some just standing around) My husband and I stayed downstairs, trying to be out of the way of all of them working upstairsBoth crews finished their work late Friday afternoon and left
My jewelry is kept in a jewelry case that is a piece of furniture with legs on it and small drawers all the way down the front It has no lock on it My rings were kept in the top drawer which is made to hold rings
On Saturday morning, Feb6th, at about mid-morning I needed to run out to do some errands I opened my ring drawer and there were two empty places where two diamond engagement rings were - one gold and one white gold They both had wedding bands that went with the engagement rings, but the wedding bands were not taken
This has been very traumatic for me - to think Empire would hire thieves to come into your home!!! My husband is going through chemotherapy treatments and not feeling well at all........we certainly did not need extra stress on us!! I hope and pray the person who took this jewelry is caught!
I urge anyone thinking of using Empire flooring to NOT use them I contacted them immediately and they just told me to get a police report which I did later on the 6th Empire didn't seem to care at all that they had thieves working for them We will NEVER use Empire again for anything

Raved about the products and installation when originally doneyear into having the flooring (laminate) planks began to separate and seems became visibleCalled customer service and repairs were madeyear after that (2016), had to notify Empire again for same problem, different areaIt has been a little over month since my last notification and calls later, and I am still waiting to hear back from someoneMeanwhile, the flooring continues to separate
If you want your floors professionally done, DO NOT use Empire Today The salesperson lied The installers were not professionals at all, more like day workers and customer service was nonexistent After spending $12,on floors, I still had to buy materials to have my floors finished There was absolutely nothing positive about my experience with Empire Today in the San Antonio area
My husband and I have purchased several products from Empire including blinds for the entire house and carpeting Every experience was positive from the initial call to the installation We've had absolutely no problems
Empire today was easy to work with and did a very good job very quickly
My family and I were looking for a reliable company to sell us the right product for our home and a well known company so we didn't run into problems! Well unfortunately when we decided to go with Empire we got all above and moreWell the first day the sales man came in with all the samples we were looking for all were pretty basic but we choose a style of vinyl plank flooring due to our kids and four large dogsWhen the installers came we were extremely excited they tore out the carpet Then one of the installers pulled me aside said sorry but the flooring you choose with will not work you have a small sloop in your floor the sales guy will have to come back to chose something elseI said I'm thank you I ant the job done right ! He then said well also this vinyl plank flooring is garbage anyways and snaps it in halfI said wow thank you what do you recommend then he said engineered hardwood! So minutes later they packed up and left to sit out in there van for a hour in my drivewayI began o notice nails screws and staples all over the floors ! I told my kids to keep their shoes on Well my six year old forgot and cut his foot wide open! Blood was everywhere! I called the company and made a complaint which they said the crew who would come to do the steps would pull the staples and nails! the salesman came that night which was awesome but came in and said you have two options either carpet which we just The g rid of and didn't want anymore or real hardwood floorsWe did our research before and read hardwood floors and dog's don't go togetherSo we said Tim we can't get hardwood floors with the dogs! Tim said oh our hardwood floors have a oxide cover which won't scratch and is water resistant we swear by it! So we said OK fine we trust your companyBad idea!!! The second crew came the next day pulled staples and nails we're supposed to do our stairway got there had the wrong material and didn't know it was stairs so they couldn't do our stairs they had no noses for the stairway so then I complain to the second crew about the bad cleanup they did the previous day so they said they would talk to the manager when they got back to the shop the manager called us the next day saying no we couldn't he would not install hardwood floors in our house that the only option we have is the vinyl plank flooring that his installer said was garbage at that point I explained to him all my concerns that I didn't want flooring that is installer said was garbage and at that point I was ready to part my ways with them I would not suggest this company to anybody they left me with nails all over the floor I have no carpet I'm walking around on baseboards their company was just a very big let-down
Salesman was friendly and knowlegeable floor guys did a fantastic job window treatments are great allso would reccomend empire today
