Our Experience with Empire Today has been horrible, from customer service to installationWe did our whole house flooring and carpetWe had flooring installed first they called the morning of they were coming then called back saying the person they were sending did not know who to install tile they did come the next day and the installers did a great job very professional, cleaned up and did a walk through with usThen came the carpet installation again we were scheduled called to confirm days prior the day before at night they call to change the apt to Friday after my husband tore out all of the carpeting our house was a messThey did come on Friday finished within hours, as we did our walk through without them we notice they forgot to install the floor dividers between the carpet and flooring in the hall bathroom I had to run outside after them to come back and put it inI turn around he goes as we go down stairs the same thing is missing I go back outside they are goneThe next day in daylight we notice seams in of the bedrooms from the hallway and living room this is unacceptableI call we had a person come out take pictures was told the installers were inexperienced and he would tell his bossThe manger called the next day we were not able to take his call and have been calling Ryan in the Pittsburgh location for a week no call backHow does a company like this stay in business, not to mention we were promised $back for my husband taking time off to be home for the days they were suppose to comeI would not recommend this company to anyone

I was very pleased with the entire scheduling process and the work was well done Product purchased more than met my expectations

I had a new floor in my computer room installed by Empire I loved the whole experience and my floor is beautiful!!!

I had a horrible experience with Empire TodayI had an installation appointment scheduledI waited around all day and they showed up with the wrong flooringI made another appointment for two days laterThe installers said they sold come between 12-pmNo one ever showed up and customer service could give me no answers after several phone calls

We were very pleased with Empire today! From our sales rep Matt who was VERY knowledgeable to our carpet and laminate installers who did a fabulous job! I'm glad we decided to go through them and will again when we finish the rest of our house!

I had laminate flooring installed in my apartment and was very happy with the entire process The sales appointment was convenient, the installation was immediate and the installers were courteous and professional I hired them based on a recommendation from my sister and expected a good job; and it exceeded my expectations

I had a great experience with Krystal *** with the Corporate office to win my business back, after receiving a poor experience with Salesperson Elan from the Los Angeles officeThe installation team lead by Victor was fantasticOther then feeling deceived initially by Elan, every other member of the organization seemed to desire my business and to right a wrongThe key thing is to clearly spell out pricing, allow the customer in on how you reached the pricing and to be completely transparent from the startThank you!

I sat an date to have vinyl put down, the instalers came looked at the job,they said did not have materials to finishThey left with with out doing anything,said they would call and let me know what was going oncalls to the no and nobody called me back,called the sails man and he said he would see if he could do something,still no calls, the next morning a man calls, and I tell him what is going on so far, which is nothing, he said he would check and call me backthis is days and still don`t know what is goingPOOR WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS

I would NOT recommend using this company for carpeting We purchased "upgraded" carpeting that they claimed was perfect for high traffic areas and it had a year warranty After only one year, the carpet fibers are so worn it looks worse than the carpet we replaced We had it professionally cleaned, entered a claim and then waited over a month, just for them to say they were not going to do anything This was a horrible experience and a complete waste of time and money I agree with others who found that the company did not care after they receive their money

Installed tile floor Tile was not level to each other Edges of tile sticking up Carpet not stretched over the tileSubfloor was visibleAn inspector came out to evaluate problems They sent out the same crew who screwed up the floor the first time to fix itThe chipped several tiles getting out the problem tiles and left chipped tiles They grouted with the wrong color groutI have now taken days to deal with this problemI gave them a chance to fix the original bad install and they made it worse The company seems content to continue to waste my time coming out and making it worse

I have never reviewed a company before, but felt compelled after my most recent experienceI was scheduled for a representative to come to my home to make a repair between 9-At 10:I contact customer service to follow up about the status of the requested repair since no one had yet shown upThe representative informs that in the system the issue was identified as "resolved" meaning that someone had already come to address the issue which was not the caseThey tried to contact the servicer and are unable to reach himThis is the THIRD time that I have had issues with them not coming to my home as scheduled and cancelling appointments altogether only to find out after I contact THEM about the status of the callIt's disappointing that this is a recurring issueThe customer service problem even outweighs their quality of work, which is unfortunate

This is the worst experience I have ever had with company that I have done business with in the pastI called to have a runner installed in my hallway and up the stairsThey came the first time and measuredthey told me they had to have the carpet bound on the edges, so I would have to wait for this process to be done They then came back to install the carpet they could not complete the installation because one end of the carpet was not bound so they took the carpet back and said they would call when it is doneI called back a couple weeks later and it still was not completethey called me back a week after that and wanted me to make an appointment for them to come back an installI took another day off of work to let them in the houseThey called in the morning with window of 1-in the afternoonI called to find out when they arrive at 2:PM and was assured they were on their wayI called back at pm and was told to make another appointment on MondayThe company had offered me money back for the inconvenienceThey never give you anything back and say there is no record of them offering you anythingDon't bother to ask for a supervisor because you will be placed on hold and if you get one they don't know anything about any past experiences you may have had with the companyI even had the supervisors name (Melissa) who doesn't recall ever speaking with you previouslyI will never pay for something again till the job is completedOnce you pay they take the money and runThe service is awful

Please Please Please do not use this company!!! Especially in the Rhode Island areaI have had a nightmare experience with them for the last two months
The company sends you a salesman that wheels and deals you a productThen they contract out companies to do the workThe company's come in unmarked cars and the language barrier is absolutely horrendous
They show up at least an hour late every time and never have the right productThey did not carpet the stair in my living room even though it was in the contract with the sales manThen customer service blamed it on my husband because he signed off on the jobI was supposed to be there but they showed up hours late and never called
They came back and fixed the carpet but forgot to put my baseboards inThey made another appointment for me to get the baseboards in and never showed up!!! My husband of course took the day off and they didn't even call us to tell us they weren't coming
They had to come to the house times!!!! The job is messy and does not look good! I have at least spent hours trying to fix all the problemsThe worst customer service I have ever experiencedI have never in my life yelled at someone on the phone, and I have yelled at them everytime I have calledWe spent $and when I spend that much money I expect a good experienceBut they completely ruined my summerThey are so awful! Please Stay away!
