My apologies in regards to my response yesterday as I was under the impression that it was from a different company In regards to this however, I spoke with two employees, one of them...***, I spoke to twice stating that I was/did sell my house on *** ***..all of this prior to May In regards to the actual written documentation, I was unable to get that information until April 30th upon the sale of the house It was immediately put in the mail Again, the employees were notified on more than one occassion..PRIOR to May that the house was sold The dates on the paperwork state that the house was sold on April 30...regardless of the date you received everything Your employees knew about the issue prior to the said date, the paperwork has the appropriate dates, yet you are still contesting the date upon which you received everything...considering it still had the date of April 30th on it I think this is another way for your company to scam people out of money rather than be respectful and see that all of the necessary paperwork was submitted with appropriate dates I do not think refunding is too much to ask considering all of the paperwork was properly dates and sent in on time

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me with one exception I will not pay the January 5th payment as I owe nothing based on the contract They received the documentation of proof of sale in December because it wasn't until I called their customer service in November about why my contract had still not been cancelled in August that I was told they needed the aforementioned proof of sale It does not stipulate this in the contract to begin with They did not send a letter or anything else after receiving the cancellation request in August so I found this out when I called The representative told me over the phone that I had to submit proof of sale, despite the fact that it does not state this in the contract I should not be held liable for any further payments at all

account by Jeremy as stated in the complaintJeremy is a member of the internal Collections DepartmentHis sole job is to collect past due monies on accounts. Jeremy was not employed with the company in 2011, therefore was not able to sell *** *** a system/agreement. *** *** did not send a cancellation at the end of term in May or JuneShe sent a cancellation letter with a post mark date on the envelope of August 30th, That letter was received by Safe Home Security September 6th, At that point *** *** had not paid the company since July. *** *** has spoken to several members of our Customer Service Department as well as Jeremy from CollectionsShe has been explained all the information we have just provided several timesShe began to accept resolution to this matter at the end of September, until she decided to sign up with a new companyAt that point she was again explained her obligation, offered a resolution, and given a monetary figure to close, which she acknowledged. The customer has been offered a reduced amount to close at $to closeThe customer is claiming they have mailed one payment of $39.99(not yet received), making the amount owed to close $382.24.Sincerely,Colin WalshCorporate Account ManagerSafe Home Security
We are not showing a delinquent reporting for this account, and it is also past the year mark that we normally reportWe wish the customer simply gave us a call and gave us a chance to rectify instead of a Revdex.com complaintHad the customer called us, we may have been able to offer a solution when
the problem occurredThe customer can dispute the error through their credit bureauWe only report for seven years, so anything from SHS should not be showing on their report
