Revdex.com,
I apologize the customer feels that way. Our business model is set up to ship from each manufacturer. We aim to be as accurate as possible with inventory, however from time to time, back orders and shipping delays do occur. AutoAnything strives to provide accurate shipping estimates, we want our customers to receive their parts in a timely manner and we certainly are not in the business of delaying orders for unnecessary reasons. Our goal is to please customers in hopes that they return.
We apologize for the inconvenience we have caused the customer, it was not our intentions to delay the order. We are glad the order shipped out earlier than we anticipated with the delay, and hope the customer is happy with the part they received. If the customer is truly unsatisfied with our product please let us know and we will process a return and refund.

I want to start and say this is a negative complaint against Autoanything. I recently was about to purchase some new Spyder head light new low / high led kits to total about $437 which is quite a bit for headlights. Anyway I chatted with one of there agents on the site and he quoted me $223.00 for just my Spyder headlights which included discounts and stuff so I thought that's a great deal, cant pass it up. I started placing my order like entering credit card info, shipping info and everything else you have to enter before you buy. I was on the very last of the order all I had to do was submit my order and it was shipping out, just before I submitted I noticed the bulbs for my low beam were for a 2006 Acura so that's weird I have a 2016 ram 2500 truck, so I opened a chat and talked with another agent he said those do work for my truck and so I thought ok no problem. Here's where my complaint comes in, the agent noticed I was getting a great deal on these. He even said himself as employees they cant get them for that price, he claimed the price expired even though everything went through on my order form and said nothing of expired, so he jumped into my order form and charged me $30 more for something that I was already told that's what I would pay. So I didn't buy a thing since I was getting blown over like that. As a business that's something you don't do especially when I have pics of my order with the $223 Spyder headlights on it. So I encourage people if you buy from them make sure you don't get screwed over like I did, because it sounds like the agent was more upset I was getting a great deal. Anyway good luck with that site, will not be recommending id go to Realtruck.com.
The reason we denied the return is because the customer installed the lights. We have no way to determine how the lights were damaged once the customer installs the item. If the item had not been installed we could have filed a damage claim with the shipping company and...
provided a replacement part. We do not have a way to determine who damaged the part once installed and therefore are unable to file a damage claim or a return at this point. Our website states our return policy below. We would be happy to provide the customer a discount on a new set of headlights if interested. AutoAnything's Return Policy as stated on [redacted]

Thank you for sending this directly to me. There are freight laws we cannot control. Once a customer signs the freight Bill of Lading (which is a legal document) stating they are accepting it as is we are not legally able to file a claim. We sent the customer an email letting them know the freight laws and asking that they fully inspect the item prior to signing for it because once it is signed they are stuck with it regardless of the damage. That is why we were unable to file a claim or credit back the customer.
The customer filed a chargeback with their credit card company, they received a full refund from us because of it in the amount of $699.95 and they also have the product. We do not have anything else to provide the customer at this time.

The original call from the customer for the warranty request was due to rust which is considered "finish" and not defect. Defective is considered only when a part is not working properly. If the customer is now saying the part is defective, and no longer works, we would need to see photos. Unfortunately, rust is not considered a defect with this manufacturer. They will only replace the part if the part is defective and will not function. AutoAnything has a 30 day return policy. We allow a customer to return something within 30 days. After that the part is deemed a warranty and is handled by the manufacturer. We always will help facilitate a warranty request for our customers but the manufacturer is who makes the call since it is there part and there warranty policy. The $150 was from AutoAnything, we wanted to help the customer out somehow but we cannot approve to replace something that is not qualified under the [redacted] warranty policy.

This company knows nothing about auto's , I ordered a brake kit from them I received 4 rotors, 4 brake calipers and 4 sets of brake pads. I dropped everything off at my mechanics in the middle of the installation they realizes I was sent 2 sets of brake pads for the rear wheels but 0 for the front wheels. I contacted customer service and they said they would send a shipping label. They wanted me to send the whole setup back but it had already been installed on my vehicle and the front pads were supplied by my mechanic . They then said they would send me another label and issue a credit in 2 days it has been 6 days now and they want me to send the whole set up back . I just need credit for the front pads.

[The company originally issued me the check for the return shipping of $160 because I had said the exhaust must have been defective since it didn't fit. Once they received the exhaust back and I called them about the check for the $160 having a stop payment placed on it, and they said they were not going to reimburse me for the shipping, and that since they felt there was nothing wrong with the exhaust, they were ALSO going to be sending it back to me and keeping the $849.
Now they're saying that actually they're going to accept my return...This company keeps changing their minds and this has been nothing but a huge headache for me. If they are accepting the exhaust back as a return, the shipping I paid should also be returned, especially after everything I had to go through with contacting an outside source (Revdex.com). The next letter I write will be to their states' Attorney General to look into this company, that has had over 130 complaints registered with the Revdex.com]

I had a warranty claim on a tonno pro tonneau cover. I have went through about 4 customer service representatives. Every time I got a new one, I guess they figured my problem was to much for them. Eventually they completely dropped contact with me until I would write the main email once again. Now that I sent my warranty product back they have had it for 2 weeks now and have failed to refund me my money nor will they contact me back. I advise for no one to order from this company do to the lack of respect and courtesy of the customer service. Worst costumer service I've ever encountered!!

I ordered 6 inch Aries nerf bars for my truck. Upon installation they looked NOTHING like the picture on the website. They left a 3.5 inch gap between the body and bar. I consider this a safety concern with my grand children that they may fall and break a leg in the gap. I called customer service and was told they had to contact the Aries factory and get approval for me to return them, after all I installed them! How do you tell how they fit if you don't install.
I waited 5 days and never heard from the customer service agent([redacted]) I sent her an email and she had the manufacturer call me. He said I had the correct brackets and this was the way they were to fit, just look at their web site. I did look at their site and the picture there was just as they fit my truck. He said to tell Autoanything I wanted to return it.
Another three days and I got no rly from [redacted], finally I have called back to Aries manufacturing and they say the woman is jerking me around! That she should give me a return authorization I told him I knew this that when I buy from Target I return to Target not whatever company made the item.
I once again contacted [redacted] and told this needed to be resolved I had spoke with Aries once again, and they advised that she was giving me a hard time! She contacted me on Monday and said she would be sending the return authorization for inspection! I asked what that meant and have never got another reply !, if I try to call her amazingly she hangs up, she has not returned 1 email since June 5, I have asked for a supervisor and got no reply.
Horrible company horrible customer service!
