AT&T is billing and harassing the individuals at Calendar Research LLC to activate and pay for services, the equipment for which was never installed
My firm has been retained to represent Calendar Research LLC ("CRL") in connection with an ongoing dispute with AT&T regarding repeated failures by AT&T since March to deliver internet services to CRL's Pasadena officeWe have attempted to settle this matter directly with AT&T but have received no response in daysWe would prefer not to file for declaratory judgment of invalidity of the contractWe are using this complaint system as one last attempt to resolve the issue without litigation
BACKGROUND
CRL requested that AT&T install and deliver managed secure business internet services to CRL's officesSince July 2017, AT&T has repeatedly ignored service requests from CRL and has promised but failed multiple times to install an ethernet drop and/or fiber optic cables within CRL's offices to enable CRL to access internet

The landline phone at the church I pastor is in my name but billed in the church's name, ***We received a letter Nov stating the term agreement for AT&T Business Local Calling and Unlimited Calling V on the account would expire 02/13/if the contract was not renewed and a month-to-month service would applyReceived a second letter of the same message Dec I called *** on 01/30/and was told we needed a qualifier for the long distance plan so I accepted a "free" I Pad and was told the church was now on the ALL FOR LESS PLANIn March received a letter stating the AT&T Business Unlimited Calling V on our account expired on 2/01/which was twelve days earlier than the first two letters statedReceived a March bill for $with each call ranging $2-$On 4/12/I called AT&T & was connected to a lady named*** who said AT&T had failed to activate the new plan when I called in January.*** apologized,

AT&T contacted me months ago to upgrade my internetWhen the tech was there he said that my *** needed new equipment to be connected to the internetThe companies are owned by AT&TI have spent several hours on their "chat", on the phone and waiting on and having technicians in my houseStill am not connectedAsked to disconnect all services and was promised to get equipment sent in order to stay with AT&T/***Today I find out the equipment was not ordered and they do not want to stand my the commitment to send the equipment in order to keep my businessLosing customers one bad customer service experience at a time!

On Dec 17, I called AT&T customer service to switch our TV service over to themI was offered a very attractive package if we bundled our TV, internet, landline and mobile phone with AT&TI said I would call back the next day if we decided to go with this...which I did
I was then subjected to over three hours of being shuttled from department to department, person to person, supervisors and managers, people in allAlthough I had reference and account numbers, not one of these people could take my orderIn fact, after initially recognizing the reference number, suddenly it disappearedI called again the next morning and after again being passed from one representative to another, I managed to place an order by starting over
I therefore discontinued our other television service to take effect the day of the switchoverA DirectTV installer came by our house to survey the day before the scheduled dayAbout a half-hour later, I received a telephone call from DirecTV saying the installation would not take place for another six daysWhen I insisted, the DirecTV representative hung up
I then wrote a blistering letter to the AT&T CEO, describing the above, pointing out that as a substantial shareholder we were very disappointed with AT&T's woeful lack of customer serviceI was contacted by Chevon DH*** from "The Office of the President" who, typically, "felt my pain" but could only offer a measly $rewards card
I then emailed her that this was unsatisfactory; my whole plea was to clean out that rats nest they call AT&T customer service
To top off this wretched experience, when I called in late December (because we had not heard a word) to see when our internet, landline and mobile phone were going to be switched over, I was told they were unable to do this in our areaSure smells of "bait and switch," doesn't it? They could (and should have) figured this out from the git-go
So this begs a couple of questions: How can AT&T be rated A+? How can they claim in their television ads that "AT&T is number one in customer satisfaction over cable"? How did AT&T ever imagine they could absorb Time-Warner...when they cannot even handle DirecTV?
The only resolution possible is to clean up their miserable customer service...now...by whatever draconian measures are warranted

Fraudulent Early Termination Fee Charge
I was a subscriber of AT&T Uverse for several years, the first of which had a contractThat contract concluded over a year agoI recently switched providers and on February 6, 2018, AT&T has sent a bill for a $"early termination fee." I am not under a contract and never agreed to extend any contract AT&T apparently claims I extended a contract at some point yet at NO TIME did I do so nor was I told I was extending a contractAT&T has been unable to produce any evidence of a contract or other agreementUpon further research, this appears to be a widely-known scam/fraud by AT&TAT&T has refused to withdraw the charge

I was told when I cancelled my account that because the installation was not properly done I would not be charged an installation fee
In the beginning of April I spoke to a rep via chat because my internet/wifi had stopped workingI was told my the chat agent that the installation was not done properly and that they would have to send some one out to fix itThey were unable to send some one out in timely manner so I cancelled the accountWhen I spoke to the rep over the phone I was told that because the installation was not properly done and I had the service for less than a week I would not be charged the installation feeShe informed me that I would receive a final bill and the installation may be on there but to ignore it because she would make notes on my account for them to remove that charge
I received a letter from collections for the amount of the installation fee, $

I currently have Att Uverse and internet, I've called ATT multiple times to add a landline service since I started working from homeI called the sales department and then they transferred me to technical support to have a technician come to my house and install the landlineYesterday my appt was between 4pm-8pm and the technician called me at 1pm saying they were at my house and that if I can't answer the door then they will leave having to schedule the appt for another day, I told the technician ABSOLUTELY not that I need this for work if he can wait for me for min, I left work running for the day and when I got home the tech called me and said another tech was gonna come between 4-8p because he had been assigned another jobI lost half of day at work because of ATT lack of communication and responsibilityThe tech that came to my house was so sweet and she told me that ATT had setup an appointment for an existing issue where I NEVER had an issue, all I wanted was a landline i

Back story
At the end of June, we requested that our phone service be moved from Asheville to Cary (to take a job as a contract *** for, WAIT FOR IT, AT&T, a job I left in October.) The delivery date was July 15, Come August 15, 2016, it still hadn't happened, so I cancelled my service, cancelled the install and requested a refund of the credit on my accountThe joke was I worked for the telephone company who couldn't provide me with telephone

This is my second complaint against this multi billion dollar company.I have yet to have my issues resolved by the company

This is the worst company everEVERY month there is a problemUsually it's due to overcharges This time I was trying to preorder a new iPhone XR It said I would not be charged for the new phone UNTIL the new phone was shipped I have been trying to complete the transaction, but it keeps kicking it back for various reasonsNow I've gotten a text from my credit card company saying the charge was put through Is this not illegal??? Then I try calling the ATT phone number next to the error message, and each time, the employee says "I'm sorry- this is not the right number I will have to transfer you." And each time I reach the correct number, they state that I will again have a long waiting timeNo one has helped me yet, and I'm hours into this debacleI am forced to stay with this company because of where I live and the reception

On 12-6-I called in a FUTURE recorded bill payment arrangement to AT&T to have payment of $drawn from my checking account 12-27-17, my paydayConfirmation number ***AT&T made an UNAUTHORIZED & erroneous withdrawal of $from my checking account on 12-15-17, resulting in overdraft fees of $totaling $I called AT&T customer service on 12-18-to report the error to "***"She said AT&T would review and return my call in hours which never happenedI called AT&T again & spoke to "***" who said AT&T would review & call me in 3-days, that the resulting $overdraft fee would be deducted from my next bill, & gave me a case number of ***AT&T NEVER calledI went to my bank to void the FUTURE 12-27-paymentI have called AT&T agents numerous times regarding the matter & can provide dates & names if requiredThere has been no refund to me of the $overdraft fees or reduction in my next bill by AT&TI was told on my latest
