I pay my bills onlineOn OctI was paying my bills and ACCIDENTLY ticked to pay *** *** *** $INSTEAD of my *** *** bill I called and they can't help me because I don't have a trip number (I don't have a bill & I don't owe them anything so no trip number) nor do I have an account number (I don't have a bill and I don't owe them anything so I don't have an account number)I have proof that on Octthe check was presented, endorsed and cleared by my bank account at Bank of the West

Received ambulance service from AMR after an accident on 8/29/ Knocked unconscious, suffered concussion, multiple fractures Never received bill from AMR Yesterday 3/22/16, was contacted by Bay Area CreditIndicating that I had been turned over to collections by AMR When I contacted a service representation, Vanessa, at AMR she indicated that my account was turned over to collections because they had the wrong address I then spoke with a supervisor LEON employee #***, he indicated that this was company policy I asked how an individual who is in questionable capacity is expected to provide accurate contact information at the time of accident AMR's position is that it is customers responsibility to provide information and that they have no responsibility to try obtain correct information before turning the matter over to credit collections Bay Area Credit informed me that the had contacted me regarding the debt on September 18, 2015, approximatel days after
I have been actively fighting American Media Response along with my insurance company for years, against a claim that I owe $on a bill from an ambulance transport for my daughterCigna states affirmatively, to me and to American Medical Response (AMR) directly, that AMR was under a national contract with Cigna at the time of service, and must uphold their negotiated rateI paid my portion of the claim when the EOB from Cigna was issued to me, and Cigna paid their portion to AMRHowever, AMR continues to ignore calls from Cigna, and continues to bill me for the balance of what is under their negotiated rateOver the past years, I have received several invoices, which lead to pre-collection noticesEvery time, I call Cigna and they say it is absolutely wrong, and they will step in and correct with AMRWe have heard the full gamut of excuses from AMR about why they continue to bill me, everything from Cigna not being in contract with them nationally to the ride being labele
I paid the bill for ambulance serviceI received another bill stating it was not paidIt took hours on phone for them to realize they took the money and paid another person's bill
Then, they had to refundIt's been months and the refund is still not processed
They couldn't put the money I paid to MY billThey had me send money again for my billThey STILL send me bills and can not find my paymentThis is the fourth month on the phone for an hour---'we have no record of your payment'
My bank says, 'Paid'I have to print and send them verification
I'm sure I'll get another bill next month
I'm only and can get online, do online bill pay, find the numbers, and am computer savvyWhat about my mom (94) and others? If they couldn't do all this scrambling around to show them 'I paid!!-again', the elders must be getting scammed!
Terrible service, the bill pay folks do not know what they are doing! It's really sadIf we have to call again I need to say

On 2/16/18, I received a pre-collection notice that provided days to respond or payThis notice was not based on business days or include any mail time which was received at nearly the end of the periodThe letter also advised me to work with my insurance company which issued the proper amountThe letter did allow for payments to be mailed within days and I attempted to pay my bill in full online for the weekend after the 10th day (which would have been a total of less than days with mail time) and was blocked by the systemI called to pay on the following Monday and the representative would not accept payment as the bill had been transferredThey were unable to provide any information about who should receive payment, but advised that I would be charged daily interest until it was paidI asked for a manager call back and never received oneIt now has been a month since this letter, weeks of interest, and weeks since I called and never received the call backFunny thing is that they have a customer who wishes to pay them in full and, not only are they preventing me from doing so, they are willingly blocking and stonewalling me from doing so as they transferred to another company that has never contacted me or told me how to payI'm guessing it must be in the collection company's interest to not contact me and AMR is complicit by not sharing their info with meFurthermore, they failed to return a call as I was advised that a manager was "not available at the moment" and would call within business days (which is longer than a moment) and still never called
I broke my leg on 01/12/and I used an ambulance to get to the hospitalI provided the EMT both of my insurance infoI got a bill and I called to re-provide my insurance infoThey applied one insurance but not the otherAfter several phone calls of me calling and repeatedly giving them the secondary insurance info they keep trying to bill meI've even had a representative of the secondary insurance speak to them on several occasionsI've even been in on these conference callsThey keep sending my claim to the wrong location despite both the secondary insurance agents and me giving them the correct address repeatedly I don't understand why they refuse to apply my secondary insurance They don't seem open to charitable careI make $500-$a monthPaying the remaining $(that my secondary insurance should cover) would be a huge burden to me
I was transported to the hospital after an automobile accidentMy son rode in the ambulance with meAfter finally settling with the insurance company of the driver at fault, I continue to receive bills, late notices, and threats to send my account to a collections agencyThis is after payment had been made by my lawyerI have tried contacting AMR's customer service, only to be hung up on twiceEven though they require a call back number (if we should become disconnected), I have not received a call Not only do they continue to tell me the balance due, they refuse to tell me why my son was also charged to ride along (not as a patient)A lien on him for the amount of $was also paid by my attorneyIronically, I was never sent a bill for him
My complaint is two-fold: 1)why was my son charged as a patient as he simply rode in the ambulance with me, and 2)customer service has not helped resolve any issues other than simply repeating my balance (which is no longer owed), and
American Medical Response has been calling our home constantly saying that we owe them payment for an ambulance ride I took from my home to the hospital in I've never taken an ambulance from my home to the hospital in my lifeNot only that, but the person on the phone kept referencing an address in GeorgiaI live in MassachusettsI have a common name, so they obviously have me confused with another person, but they refuse to accept this and keep calling my home and harassing my family
I was transported from Waxahachie, Txto Dallas, Txon 5-11-due to heart attackThis company billed my insurance company (***) and was paid in full for services renderedThey are "in-network" and negotiated discount for their service but refuse to honor the in network paymentI have contacted them SEVERAL times and also spoke with my insurance company and they too have contacted this company SEVERAL times regarding this matterThey still refuse to honor their contract with the insurance companyI have sent them copies of my EOB stating that "Provider negotiated discountYou are not responsible for this amount and that the claim was processed at the in network level"They refuse to accept this and now have turned me over to a collection agencyThis is a last resort for help in this matter before I hire an attorney and sue this company for harassment over something I didn't owe in the first placeMy insurance company has checked and double checked that this is the company
May 2018, I received a bill from AMR-American Medical Response billing me for ambulance service in Monterey CaliforniaTransported to the Community hospital in MontereyI have never been to California and I am yrs old and live in GeorgiaThis billing was $It was automatically filed and Medicare was sending their statement to let me know that the claim was being processedI called Medicare and reported the fraudThey said it could take months to get back to meToday, August I received a bill AMR threatening to turn me over to collection if I did not pay the unpaid balance that Medicare didn't, which was $AMR was called I I told them they had been reported as fraudThe lady said they had accidentally billed the wrong addressHow do you do that? Anyway, beware of this companyTax payers are paying for many fraudulent claims that are filed, and I believe this is just an example of one of themDS
I am a medical professional and my husband is a firefighter/EMT in ColoradoWe have been trying to work with our insurance and AMR on our bill for my two year old daughter who was struggling to breathe on a recent family vacation out of stateCan you imagine how fragile she must have been to have a first responder call for his own child? We were told our account was put on hold until the issue was resolvedWhat came in the mail today? A Final Notice with days to respondIt took days for me to receive the noticeI have letters ready to be mailed to the CEOs of AMR and Rural Metro first thing tomorrowI can even drive to the office in Greenwood Village or have my husband stop by when he gets off shift protecting the district your headquarters are located to discuss this matter in person How can an emergency services company treat a first responder family so poorly? I am even willing to pay what my insurance company believes is fairI do not expect a free ambulance rideI would like someone to contact me ASAP! I have sent an email to every single email address I could find online
For a trip in November 2015, I received no bill or communication until August 2016! By the, it was too late to dispute the bill with my insuranceWhen I contacted my insurance, they told me they had made payment to AMR in early Jan 2016, so then why did no one reach out to me with the bill till August??? I have spoken to all supervisors in their call center and tons of agents over the last monthsOne of the supervisors told me I qualified for the financial hardship program and they would waive my bill, but then after a week I just keep getting bill in the mail! When supervisors are unavailable, the agent will tell you they will call you back, but they never do and instead, they just keep sending bill in the mail! Horrible customer service, Horrible communication, and absolutely no respect for the patientI will NEVER refer AMR to anyone
On March 29, 2018, while on vacation, my year-old daughter injured her headA call to was made and an ambulance from AMR Rural/Metro of San Diego (thereafter referred to as the Provider) arrivedShe was assessed with a deep laceration to her forehead My daughter was conscious throughout the entire incident and showed no signs of neurological injuryThe lead responder from the Provider suggested that I could transport my child to the hospital myself or they could take herI chose for her to be transported by the ProviderMy child walked onto the ambulance and was accompanied by my wife to the hospital No medication was given to my childOxygen was not givenWe do not believe that her vitals were monitored en routeThe only treatment provided was a gauze bandage for her head lacerationShe was transported by the Provider, without lights or sirens, to the Rady Children’s hospital
I received a bill from the Provider that consisted of itemsThe first item was liste
This is the worst business I have ever dwelt withThe EMT people were fine except they didnt put down my complete address and AMR thought since I had not responded, that I must not want to pay and sent it to collections I talked to them and they removed itThen we set up electronic withdrawl for the billThey attempted to take money out and it came up all zeros on my acct in bankSo what ever they did didn't work out well for them so they sent me a late notice..Then I put in for worthy helpThe hospital told me to send my paper work to them alsoThe hospital wrote off the billBut AMR who charged me over $to drive me miles would not hear of helping meSo I called them again because during this they are still sending me late noticesNow I just called them to make arrangementsThey will not take any less then $a month ( of which I cant afford)BUT if I do it electronic through the bank it would be $a month..I tried that one beforeThis company scares meI have been out sourced to the Philippines a couple of times alsoHow do I know my info is not going out of countryWhat kind of business is this? The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing..How can they forse my hand on how much my payment will be and if not threaten to send me to collectionsI have worked hard to keep everything out of collections
AMR provided a trip from hospital to another and stated that insurance would not pay for this service I was told if we paid in full before the trip we would receive a discount The amount of the charge was $1,and was paid with my credit card (April 3rd, 2017) Months later (July 2017) I received a bill stating we had an outstanding balance which also showed that the claim was submitted to insurance and paid by insurance I have been requesting a refund on my payment since July 17, and have been getting the run around It is a different story every time I call and I've even been told there was a charge back to my account on May 19, I spoke with my credit card company and they did not return the payment I would like to receive the amount paid in advance since the service was able to be submitted and paid by insurance
I have included my problem in the Desired Outcome
Humana representative set up an ambulance trip for my mother under the Emergy care policy issued by Rural Metro This ambulance trip was medically necessary for my mother since she was at this time very ill and we were told that there would be no cost it turns out that we were charge 50% of the trip going and the trip coming Humana denied the claim We were sent Bill's from Rural Metro under two account numbers, which was later merged into one We received two bills, under two trip numbers for $each It was very difficult to deal with Rural MEtro since their Customer Service is in a foreign Country with representatives that are difficult to understand or communicate with I started making payments of $and made three, but was then turned over to Bay Area Credit Service for $for one of the trips Again, even though the agency is in Atlanta Georgia, the agents are operating from a foreign country I am frustrated and sent a payment for $on my credit c
