September 18, 2015 RE: *** *** To the Revdex.com, Mr***’s agreement states the length of the contract is months and the representative appears to have circled it for
emphasisWe also spoke with Mr*** over the phone prior to the installation of the alarm system and specifically asked him if he understood the agreement has an initial term of months, to which he replied “yes.” Since this is the first time the matter of the alarm going off in the middle of the night has been brought to our attention please provide us with the dates and times these incidents occurred so that we may check to see what triggered the alarmBased upon our findings we will determine what course of action we will take. Sincerely, Brandt N*** | Alder Compliance Manager

June 1, RE: *** *** To the Revdex.com, We are willing to waive the fee for Mr*** and will install the system at his new
residence at no costSincerely, Brandt N*** | Alder Compliance Manager

January 19, 2018RE: *** *** To the Revdex.com, Thank you for contacting usWe attempted to reach Ms*** to discuss this matter but we are unable to connect with anybody at either of the numbers on the accountMs*** states she’s kept the contract for five years
(the length of the agreement) in her complaint but our records do not reflect thisThe contract signed by her son is dated May 9th, She also states that her contract was renewed without her knowledge but the reason the account was renewed is because a request was made to move the system to a new address and the customer renewed the contract so they wouldn’t have to pay the fee to have the system relocated. To address the concerns in the complaint I have cancelled the renewal even though the $fee was already waivedI have also lowered the monthly rate from $to $because Ms*** also expressed concern about the costIf Ms*** is still unsatisfied she may contact me directly at 385-218-2747.Sincerely, Brandt N*** | Alder Compliance Manager

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Once again Alder / MrN*** have "twisted" their words to suit them, but clearly didn't read ALL of the paragraphs of our former contract NOR the email that was sent. First, the agreement was canceled by Alder after illegally releasing security codes and other "mishaps" on Alder's part (see previous messages of this complaint)It was not "prematurely" cancelled by us, but by Alder after their lack of interest in people's securitySomali stated in a return phone call from her on July that "WE HAVE DECIDED TO RELEASE YOU FROM THE CONTRACT". Second, the email sent from MrN*** on July clearly stated that am "no longer responsible for the TERMS OF THE CONTRACT", not only monthly payments as stated in MrN***'s previous message. 3rd, The default paragraph states the following ahead of MrN***'s previous REMEDIES reading from the former contract:IF ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING EVENTS SHALL OCCUR (EACH A "DEFAULT"), THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO EXERCISE ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE REMEDIES SET FORTH BELOW: EVENTS: (i) FAILURE TO PAY ANY MONTHLY MONITORING FEE WHEN DUE; (ii) CLIENT AND/OR ITS GUARANTOR BECOMES INSOLVENT OR FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION (VOLUNTARY OR INVOLUNTARY); (iii) A RECEIVER, TRUSTEE, CONSERVATOR OR LIQUIDATOR IS APPOINTED ON BEHALF OF CLIENT OR GUARANTOR UNDER ANY FEDERAL OR STATE LAW; (iv) CLIENT'S BREACH OF ANY OTHER SECTION OF THIS AGREEMENT AND FAILS TO REMEDY SAID BREACH WITHIN (TEN) DAYS AFTER BREACH; (v) CLIENT CHANGES TO A TELEPHONE/COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE NOT SUITABLE FOR ALARM SIGNAL TRANSMISSION; OR (vi) CLIENT ENTERS INTO A NEW AGREEMENT WITH ANOTHER ALARM COMPANY FOR CERTAIN SERVICES AT THE CONTRACTED PREMISE BEFORE THIS AGREEMENT'S EXPIRATION DATEREMEDIES:.........Only after that the contact reads the remedies previously described previously by MrN***. NONE of the above so called "defaults" have occurred and do not apply to this situationAnother attempt to grasp at straws days after the last contact between Alder and myself. Also, the alarm system was not a "selling point" of my former property and previous emails between seller (myself) and client (new homeowner)/realtor clearly show thatHOWEVER, Alder was clearly informed far in advance of the upcoming sale of the home and did not ever mention anything about equipment return until after the sale was completed and all sorts of issues were created created by Alder's lack of responsibility, response and customer service ahead of time. None of it matters, because the email from MrN*** to me from July 13th, NO LONGER HOLDS ME RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT, no matter what paragraph MrN*** wants to partially mentionThe new homeowner is not responsible for returning equipment or letting Alder access his property and according to the previously mentioned email, neither are weWe will take further steps if necessary and report this customer treatment up the chain of command to resolve this issue once and for allThis is a perfect example of why there are so many complaints about Alder and this treatment of soldiers and veterans is outrageous! Sincerely,
*** ***
