I sign a contract for years with the AdT alarm with my bussiness but when I sign I ask any fee but the sales man he told me it is no fee for early cancellations and I ask him what about if I don't keep my bussiness in years and he told r u fool no one ask u anything Today I have burglary I'm shop my alarm never get any signal when I call them their customer service she respond I'm so sorry what happen to your shop we will send a technicianTuesday and I told them why not Monday she says it is no one I call technical support and they told me you don't have a sensor for ur shop if they came from the roof I call them back the customer service waiting around min another customer told I can't do anything for u and I told I want to canceled my service and ask take your equipment and he told it is mine and he transfer the cancelation department and he told me I have to pay 800$ fee , they never mention when I sign and now I lost everything I can't afford to pay

IF THERE is any less than star I would have given that, asked for me to pay for the cancelled services which on there end could not find any fault for it

In November of 2017, I switched my landline to a cell-line but maintained the same number AT&T did not inform me that I had to notify ADT of the switch More importantly, ADT never called to ask if there was a problem since I learned later that they knew they were not receiving a signal from our residenceEarly in 2018, I noticed that the system was acting odd, so I called the service number The representative ran several tests with lots of beeping and told me she could not get a signal on the front door After about thirty minutes, she asked me if I had changed my phone number I said no, but that I had switched to cell service She then transferred me to another person because she said I needed to add a device to my ADT service and that would incur an additional monthly fee The woman who was to set up the appointment to add the device was CLUELESS First she told me that someone would come the next day and that the cost would be over $ Then she said, no a

Horrible service, Customer service hung up on me when my alarm was going off and they called meCalled them back trying to disarm it and they have literally no idea how to work their own system! ADT failed to nofity client of alarm disarmed at home on June 29, @ 16:

Cancelled service on 3-18-- sent acct to collection for services thru 11-04-
On 3-18-16, I called ADT to cancel monitoring services(We had no contract at this point.) I was informed to send a written cancellation to the Small Business Cancellations with a fax number ADT provided I did the same day and the fax was confirmed The last invoice was paid in the amt of $at the same time In May, they billed us for service to 8/4/ I wrote to ADT giving copies of everything but despite many letters, etcOn 6/13/16, ADT credited the acct $for services from 4/19/to 8/04/and then billed $for services from 4/19/to 11/04/ADT referred the acct to a collection agency - American Financial Mgmt, WHiggins Rd, Ste610, Chicago, IL XXXXX (XXX) XXX-XXXX Tel and (XXX) XXX-XXXX Fax and are billing $as a bal due after the credit was appliedThey just want payment! After 11/04/16, they will probably bill more

My experience with ADT has been completely unacceptable From billing issues, no shows for scheduled appointments to actually saying that I authorized the cancellation of my parent's system??? How could I do that, how could they let me do that? We don't have the same last name and I don't know their security code Nothing is ever their faultI have never seen the customer blamed they way they do I actually had a supervisor tell me today that she told them not to put my call through to her because she couldn't (I say wouldn't) help me I have never had worse customer service and I must be crazy because this is my 3rd system I think they require a year commitment because otherwise people would not use them once they experience their incredibly poor customer service Asking for a manager is met with: you will be hold for a long time - seriously?!? I just can't believe that they treat their customers this way

They don't "call back" when they say they will, not sure how they maintain an "a+" rating

Damaged wall during Installation
I got a new ADT system installed on 1/14/During the installation of keypad on wall the technician drilled a hole that went from one side of wall to other side of wallNow other side wall was damaged with a holeWhile I understand mistakes do happen but I would expect ADT to get this fixedInstead ADT local office is asking me to find a contractor to get this wall fixed and they will reimburse meSo ADT expects to make mistakes and I as customer need to find contractor, get estimate, get estimate approved then get the repair done, send the bill to get reimbursedThis is not acceptableI don't have time to deal with thisOn top of that Customer service manager Jade Halls whom I spoke with today was very rude and not ready to hear me

I had a ADT pulse installed on 8/1/and on 8/17/my house was burglarized I understand that burglary happens weather I have an alarm or not, but the issue I have is that I did not get a call from ADT nor text messageWhen talking to the service rep, I was told that the motion sensor did trigger at 10:am, however there is a sec window to punch in the code to disarm...well the burglar figured out a way to disable the alarm by removing it from my wall and short circuiting it by dumping it in water (my sink) thus alarm is now disabledAn investigator from ADT told me that the keypad and the brain are one and the same unit Bottom line these type of ADT PULSE system has flaws and needs to be fixed!!
Now for the customer service, I have been on hold on the phone longer than speaking to a real person and have been transferred from department to department (So disappointing) The solution they have for me is to upgrade to a better unit where the keypad and the brain are separate, but at first they want me to pay for the upgrade- REALLY?!? Also if I cancelled my subscription, I can no longer claim the $theft reward guarantee because I am not a member anymore
Thankfully the sales rep who sold me to ADT was able to negotiate on my behalf and am now getting an upgraded unit, and without paying extras for the installation and still keeping my monthly dues the same

I gave the ADT rep a check for $as a deposit ADT used the routing number and account # off the check and withdrew $from my account

ADT billing and contracts
I had ADT for a number of years, in May of my obligation was fulfilled but I kept the service
I November of I received a notice of needed upgradeI made the appointment and took the day from work to meet the techThe tech never showed and when I called I was told that the appointment was not a guaranteed dateI at that point called and requested that my service be endedI was told it would be days, December NOW the end of April 2016, I continue to get charges from ADT and notification of needed upgrade
This should have been canceled LAST YEAR!!!!!!
ADT now says it was cancelled in March and that there is a $balance owedThey are now threatening turning it over to collections
ADT refused to acknowledge that a customer is leaving and continues to invoice unjustly

Horrible service Horrible communication skills Horrible billing Been trying to cancel everything for months an no one responds Every manager is always on holidays or busy Sales reps have no ability to help customers Install took more then three months and system still does not work properly All they do is ignore calls and emails All I want is the system picked up and the contract thrown away because they voided their contract by not installing the system and billing for install that was free

ADT has been unable to resolve a cellular communication with our panel and has refused to assist in stopping the "Beep" coming from the panel They advise to unplug the system and just leave the cord sitting there along with taking off the front panel to unplug the battery They are unwilling to help and I would not recommend this monitoring company to anyone
