Contract Conceiling Breakdown of Charges
I have signed a contract with ADT on August 15, I recently realized that ADT were charging me for Quality Service Plan as part of the Security Monthly Fees without providing breakdown of the charges What ADT have done was conceiling the breakdown of the different charges Only on August 8, when I realized during a phone call with an ADT representative that the Quality Service Plan was separate charge of $which is lumped into the Monthly Service Fee, I have requested to cancel such a service
When I talked to ADT on August 18, 2016, Mr John *** ADT Corporate Customer Relations Advocat, his only argument was that I have signed a contract which includes the Qaulity Service Plan within the $Monthly Service Fee, and refused to offer me refund for the charges I have incurred on the Quality Service Plan
I have major reservations on the argument provide by ADT The $indicated in the Contract (Section 2) is for

I was charged more per month than my contract stated I would be charged
I signed a contract on March 12, to get ADT Monitoring at a price of $per month for months ADT online records only go back months According to their online records, as of November 2016, I was being charged $65.88/month for months Beginning February 2017, I was charged $65.80/month for months Beginning September 2017, I was charged $73.90/month for four months Beginning January until my cancellation of services, I was charged $for months In total, I was over charged at least $After contacting ADT, they told me that the sales rep was not authorized to give that price and therefore they had to charge the different amount

Ever since the ADT unit was installed years ago, we have not been able to use the kiosk button to "no one home"If we do then the fire dept/police comeWe have to always select the "someone home" button when we leaveWe've had a technician come reset and move the monitors at the stairsUnfortunately just last week, the fire and rescue dropped by while we were all relaxing watching a movie, eating ice cream sandwiches and they come busting in wanting to know the emergencyThese guys complained to us about the many many times they've been at our house for absolutely no emergency
My biggest fear is when I do need them, will they hurry to get here or sluggishly drag their buttsBeing a member of a firefighting family, I've heard the stories at the fire halls about frequent alarms
We've tried to cancel our ADT unit for malfunctioning and found out we are stuck in a year contractI guess we should've read the fine lines instead of agreeing to what we thought was a year contract

I got service through ADT through fraudulent activity on the behalf of an ADT corporate sales person/technician
I had ADT service through an authorized dealer *** at an address *** *** *** ** *** ** XXXXX)I moved to a new address *** *** ** XXXXX)I was approached by an ADT corporate salesperson/technician who told me that if I signed up for service with her, that my account with the authorized dealer would be cancelled and I would not have to pay any cancellation chargesI have been dealing with this issue for over five months nowI have not been able to get in contact with salesperson (Maxine *** and I have been in repeated contact with a representative at ADT corporate (Rhonda *** who on every occasion assures me that the situation will be corrected/has been corrected and that I will hear back from them within hoursI never get a call back and weeks past before I have to call back and go through the same thing all over again

BEWARE OF THIS ADT SECURITY COMPANY AND THEIR CALL SERVICE DEPARTMENTS THIS COMPANY GETS NO STARS FROM ME THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! THEY CLAIM THAT THEY WILL HAVE A MANAGER CALL YOU BACK, YET NO MANAGER EVER CALLS THEY TRY TO PLAY PHONE GAMES TO PROLONG YOU TERMINATION TIME FRAME AND THEN TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN CANCEL BECAUSE YOU THE CANCELLATION PERIOD IS OVER AND TRY TO CHARGE YOU $FOR CANCELLING A SERVICE THAT YOU DIDN'T EVEN GET BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO SEND A SERVICE PERSON TO FIX THE ISSUES THEIR SERVICE IS TROUBLE THEY TRY TO KEEP YOU HOLDING ON AND WAITING FOR THEM IN ORDER TO HELP MAKE THE CANCELLING TIME FRAME TOO LATE WHEN YOU CALL THEY TRANSFER YOUR CALL FROM DEPARTMENT TO DEPARTMENT AND PERSON TO PERSON I HAVE CALL THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO CANCEL MY SERVICE AND EACH PERSON CLAIMS THAT THERE ARE NO NOTES IN THE SYSTEM STATING THAT YOU CALLED AND CANCELLED YOUR SERVICE! TOTAL SCAMMERS WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRODUCTS THAT HALF WORK! THERE NEED TO BE AN OPTION FOR "NO STARS"!

I have ADT services at my home and at of my businessesI am moving to a new home and decided not to use ADT since it is $a monthThere is another local company that provides services for $a monthI called in and cancelled my home services and a few days later a salesperson called and tried to convince me to use there serviceNo one said anything about the breaking my contract and the charge of $they tagged me withEven though I am still a customer with my other locationsThose contracts expire next yearYou bet I will replace my security services as soon as I canPlease be aware of the lengthy contracts

We paid off our bill yet they continue to harness us and ask for us to pay for it againThey want our bank acct # and routing #We will not provide

I had a transfer of service with ADTThey have continued to take the payment electronically from my bank account for the old address since August I have contacted the company several times, with four people saying either the refund check was mailed or electronically sent back to my accountTo this date I have not received a refund by any meansAs of today they have taken another $from my accountThis brings the total of $taken for an account that was closed

I came home on August 19th to find that my alarm had been set off and I was never contacted by ADTI called the office and spoke with a woman named Aqua, after running several test, she told me that there is no signal coming from my house to ADTI was then on hold for several minutes and was told that she set an emergency appointment to have someone come out on Saturday to repair the system and that they would call me within hoursTHAT NEVER HAPPENEDI called back to the office on Saturday and spoke with several people and was told by the supervisor that I would have to now pay to have someone come out to fix itI told them that I was not going to pay for something that is ADT fault and that a manager would call me, to date no one has called and I discontinued my services and I want my money backthis is my 2nd filing with the Revdex.com

I have never experienced such incompetency, rudeness and total lack of customer care from a company in my life as I have with ADT This company is one to stay far away from From the aggressive and pushy sales rep who turned out to be worthless in helping me, to the poorly trained technicians, ADT is the worst of the worst! In the years I've been with them I've experienced technicians that "forget" about the appointment, faulty equipment and unresolved alarm issues that are still on-going I truly wish I had done my research and gone with another company When my contract ends I will definitely be switching to a competent security company that cares about its customers

In when we first moved to our new home we contacted ADT to install home securityWe felt secure with an alarm system knowing that it would be there if anything was to happenWe just found out yesterday that for all this years our alarm did not have any communication with ADT's systemNo one ever cared to check or called or monitored, we were never told of a way to check communication until yesterdaySomething that if we had known we would have been doing every monthEach month they've been paid the amount they've asked first it was around $46, then they raised their prices to $50/monthAfter taking to them today all they want to give us is a month's creditOver $they've been paid over five years and never once do they decide to check on their customersWe feel they owe us, that what if someone had really tried to break in the night when it's just me and my children, or while we've been away on family tripsWe are very dissatisfied with ADT

After my contract expired, ADT continued to charge my account (at a reduced rate) and their policy is to require customers to contact them regarding termination of servicesEven then, they require days notice before terminationAll this without having approval or a binding contract from the client to continue servicesWho protects people from the protection companies?

In July I was selling my home and contacted ADT concerning what to do with the service when I movedI was told that I would be charge $1,for cancelling the serviceI told the individual I didn't want to cancel my service couldn't I transfer it to my new homeHe said no(On ADT's web site they advertise you can move the system when you moveFrustrated I told him to do nothing at this point our house wasn't soldThe next month while looking over my bank account ADT had taken the $1,out of my checkingI called them and my call was given to their "resolution center" where I explain that scerinoI was told I did not have to have my services cancelled! I was told a check would be sent to refund me $1,I also discussed that my home had now been sold, I would continue paying my monthly bill and when my new house was finished we would have it transferredAfter a month of waiting for the refund, first time they sent it to my bank with only the last four account numb

No ADT anymore!!! It is not because of security service, it is because the way ADT charge me! Their payment charging and adjustment is super ridiculous!
When I stop service, they do not provide me a refund automaticallyThey need customer to ask for the money!!! if I don't pay attention to my bill, it seems they will never give me the money back! I request the refund today since I just realize there is no check mailed to me after I requested to stop service for months& they told me I will receive my refund in Decsince there is days hold& 7-business days for processing! How can a company do business like this!!! Super Super terrible!!!
In addition, after I request the refund, I checked my part bill history, I am surprised that I have a invoice charge for Oct 2018, since my service was stopped in Sep I don't understand how ADT did the adjustment, since on the final invoice of Sep, they already charged me for the earlier termination fee I though it is the final invoice and they should refund me whatever shows on that minus balance
Then I questioned them and they said the refund amount is correctThe ADT answer is that they didn't charge me for the Oct, If ADT didn't charge me why it shows an invoice for the whole month of Oct which I don't have any service with them and refund me based on the final balance due of this Oct invoice balance? After I insisting them to go into it, they are saying the adjust credit in Sep contains the charge for Oct, that's why they didn't charge me for Oct I am not exactly sure whether this is correct or not! since from the way they did, it do looks like they charge me for the Oct service! I don't think I will choose ADT anymoreIt is a terrible experience with the billing issue It is the first time, I saw a company stopped the service without providing the refund automatically & billing history record keeps on shows invoice for the non-service month and still insisting everything is correct! I just do hope I will get my refund on the amount ADT said now without loosing more money on that unbelievable invoices!

Advertisement on your homepage directly contradicts what is offered when a customer calls to follow through
I went on your site to look for a number to reach you as my father is paying $in *** ***, ** for the same service (minus smoke detector, door, window), yet I pay $in *** *** ** (minute distance) I understand maybe a few dollars, but DOUBLE? Your home page mentioned "Get a Nest Learning Thermostat installed at no cost." When I spoke to a rep this morning, they refused to acknowledge my father's account, I even asked if I should conference him in, denied "you're getting the lowest price." Zero help and very cold Is that customer service? I then asked about the Nest feature I had to repeat myself times, as the rep didn't' know what I was referring to?! Don't know your own products? Finally understood that it was a thermostat, and quickly transferred me to sales saying she couldn't help me The next sales rep quickly denied the free installa
