I had ordered a Xymox Percussion Tenor Pad in November of 2018. Time after time again Xymox has pushed back the date and was supposed to have been shipped on 4/12. I still have not received any information on the pad since. I do not agree with their NO REFUND POLICY since they continuously lie and steal customers money. I definitely do not recommend buying from this company.

This place has the worst customer service I think I have ever encountered. Ordered on December 15th 2018, continually get the same story about shipping. No one answers the phone and the emails are all but lies, was told it would ship April 5th of 2019, still no update, no shipping info. this is after several emails and replies From Melissa with the same old B.S. Asked for my money back and was told they have a very strict cancelation/refund policy, and was told they will not refund your money. May 15th will be six months but they received there money two days after the order was placed. DO Not order here unless you like being SCAMMED.
My Child wanted this to practice for drum line. But looks like She will graduate before we ever receive it. VERY, VERY, SAD.

July 4th, 2018 I ordered 4 reserve snare pads. I'd heard of Xymox's ruthless reputation for being as slow as humanly possible, so I expected the pads to be shipped by Christmas of 2018. They weren't of course, and like everyone else who has waited half a year for their product to be delivered, I emailed them back and forth for a few more months until not all but 3 of my pads finally came in March. I was so happy after having waited 9 MONTHS and also confused because I ordered 4 pads, not 3. They had a shortage of the rim I wanted for my 4th pad and I was hung out to dry as they marked the pad as shipped and went on with their day! So I emailed them again and here I am waiting for my 4th pad to be shipped still. I don't expect it to ever come quite honestly based off how much of a struggle it was to get them to just send three pads... so many false expected delivery dates. Not mention the handful of times she told me "you can expect tracking information on ___," which never was true. I will never ever buy from this company again and I couldn't recommend anyone else to either. The price and, more importantly, amount of stress over your order actually coming is just not worth it.

I placed an order #*** on 10/12/18 for my son's Christmas gift. The order had been marked completed since December 2018 but no product as of yet. This company has a no refund/no cancellation policy on their orders, but take your money right away. I was told in December there had been a mistake and my order was not complete due to the holiday season and it should ship out soon. Well it's 4/25/19 and still no sign of my order. They won't even respond to me when I try the website contact portal. My review of this company is NEGATIVE 5 STARS. I had to give it one star for this comment to register. Do not purchase products from this company! Worst customer service ever.

I was told that there had been a mistake and my order should have shipped out since it was a priority. I was then told it would ship out last week. It's May 5th and still no tracking number.

I placed a order on December 13, 2018. In February 22, I was emailed saying they were backed up from the Holidays. Now it’s April 4, 2019 and they won’t even answer my emails. My product has been saying near completion since December 14, 2018. The website says it will only take 4-8 weeks. My Baby Birthday has come and gone and still no drum pad nor a update from anyone from the company. How do I go over their head and report this.

I ordered my sons Tenor pad August 2018......my order shows completed back in December. Do I have it? No! Can I get a tracking number? No! Does my son ask about it everyday? Yes!!! I have emailed multiple times...same song and dance. They will not answer you questions or address your concerns. This company has no integrity at all.
Please learn from mine and many others mistakes....DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I placed order #1***20312 for a tenor pad on October 15th. My order was marked "complete" on December 21st. I was told the order would ship on January 15th, then February, then March 22nd. I have yet to receive information regarding tracking or expected delivery of the order. Did I mention this was a Christmas gift? I really really wish I had read the reviews of this company online before I placed the order. My son asks about his pad EVERY SINGLE DAY. I think he's waited long enough for his Christmas present, don't you?

This company takes FOREVER on their orders, the they don’t ship the right merchandise ordered. It will be two years in May that I’m STILL waiting for them to ship the correct rims that I paid for!!! Not a good company!

I ordered a custom drum for my Grandson Sept 2018...it is now March 2019 ...where is my drum ...no answer to emails...and no ph to call...you took my $$$$$$ ...give me his drum

I ordered my ID pad on November 7, 2018 and was informed that the pad was completed on December 22nd. This pad was supposed to be a Christmas present and as yet to arrive. I don’t get why they are starting to push new products when they are behind on their orders. I have read reviews from 2015 with the same issue. Time to change. Don’t know if this will be worth the wait.

I ordered a custom snare drum pad from Xymox for my son on 10/15/18. The estimated production time was 2-8 weeks, and I was told the shipping time for my order would be 11/30/18. After not receiving the pad, I send an email to Xymox on 12/16/18, and received a reply 2 days later stating the pad would be completed and shipped around the third week of January.
I replied with more details of my order, concern about the lateness of the pad and lack of communication by the company. I was told my order would be pushed up, and shipped sometime after 1/4/19.
On 12/22/18, I received an email stating that the pad was completed! However, I never received any tracking or shipping information. After several email inquiries, I received an email on 1/11/19 stating that there was a mistake, and that the pad was not completed. They had a computer error and the pad was actually near completion.
It is now 1/25/19 (several days past the third week of January) I still have not heard back from Xymox - I do not know if the order is completed, when it will be completed or when it will be shipped.
I am very disappointed with this company and would not recommend them to anybody!

Never order from this company. I ordered in mid November got an email mid December stating order complete. Now it is late January and they are telling me 4-5 more weeks and they got busier then expected. But now that I am looking at reviews this is a on going problem.

1 star is too good for this company - 2nd order I placed. I reasoned that no matter how bad my first experience was, I knew it would take 2-3 times longer than they say and bit the bullet, hoping they had gotten their act together. I ordered mid May of 2018. It is now January 17th of 2019 and I still haven't received my order. When it does come, I'm told it will not be complete. Once again, they lied to me and told me it had shipped when it had not. It was listed as "complete" on their website 3 months before it was listed as shipped (and that may also be a lie). Great pads!!! But allow 8-12 months for delivery. Yes, that's right - you can build a house before they can make a set of pads and get it to you.

I ordered my item 5 weeks before Christmas, expecting it would get here shortly after and it has not. My order status changed to completed on December 21st, however, there is no tracking number listed on the status. When you call the listed number you get some weird voicemail that has a persons name on the recording. When you message them, you are told to email them and are given a false email. This company is apparently closed until the first of the year. I am not the first person to have this complaint. I warn you if you are trying to make your child's birthday or holiday special with their product, you might order it a year before they ask for it..... You may or may not receive it. If I could submit this complaint without any stars, I would.

Zero stars. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. My order was supposed to ship on 17 Dec and today 22 Dec I received notification that my order was complete and xymox was shutting down until 2 Jan for the holidays. Totally unsat and complete rip off. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

My son ordered (and paid for) a tenor pad on May 28, 2018. This was the second order my son placed with Xymox Percussion, therefore, I had anticipated it would take longer than the 8 weeks they estimate on their website to receive the order. We were satisfied with our first purchase from this company, which we received about 3 months after the order was placed. However, as of today, December, 20, 2018, nearly 7 months later, my son still has not received his practice pad, despite the fact that it was marked complete on October 5th. I have had multiple email exchanges with Melissa Haley about the status of the order. On September 12th I was told the practice pad would be shipped no later than October 5th. I received an update on October 5th that the order was complete. On October 19th, I sent another email inquiring on the shipping status. On October 22nd I was told their shipping department was congested and that they were doing everything they could to get our order packaged and shipped out within the next two weeks. On November 17, 2018, I sent another email inquiring on the shipping status, and received a response on November 20th apologizing that we haven’t received our order, and then asked to check back with them in another week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. On November 27th, I followed up by email again inquiring on the shipping status, which was responded to on November 29th. At that time, I was told that the order was pushed through and they would do their best to get this shipped to me by December 21st at the latest. I sent another email on December 17th to inquire on the shipping status, which has still gone unanswered.

My daughter ordered her custom pad on July 15, 2018. As of today still no pad. There have been several emails back and forth between myself and Melissa at Xymox. Multiple dates for shipping have been given and still nothing has shipped. The responses we have received from Xymox are almost identical to others who have made similar complaints. The response of there not being enough room in the UPS truck due to them “filling up the trucks” is quite laughable. I went ahead and contacted *** and explained the situation and had the credit card charges reversed. Xymox will not be getting a penny from me. I suggest people find alternate companies to do business with. RCP Percussion was happy to take my order and my daughter had her new custom pad in 2 business days!! And yet customers of Xymox continue to get the run around after 5 months.. How is this company allowed to continue to do business like this?

Zero stars. Complete run-around. Still no product on 12/13/18 which was ordered in July 2018.

My son ordered his pad on 7/5/18. He was given an estimated completion/ship date of 9/12/18. Today is 12/5/18 (exactly 5 months from the order date) and we have not received anything. I have now sent 2 emails and 1 voicemail and have received no reply or acknowledgment. It is incredibly disappointing to see that this company is taking advantage of kids and educators alike. Shame on you!
