In response to your last comment, your account canceled effective January 6, 2017, and per your refund request. You paid for a subscription service; by paying your invoice, you agree to continue service during the specified time. If you request to cancel your service early, you forfeit your prepayment. Your account was paid through the end of February, if you would like we can reactivate your account.

This letter is to inform you that Waste Management has carried out to my satisfaction the resolution it proposed for my complaint, filed on 5/19/2015 3:28:32 PM and assigned ID [redacted].  Their response was that  a refund request was submitted. I have looked at my credit card and on their website and there was NO refund submitted to me. I want this reopened and I will close it when I get my refund.

Hello Ms. [redacted],
In response to your last comment, upon reviewing your account there were never any reported misses; when your account was suspended for nonpayment. Our collections department had no way of calling you, however, letters were sent to the address listed on the account. Per the billing, the city has an agreement with all of their residents to receive a low rate for trash service. Therefore, when the resident does not pay their bill the services will be suspended and the billing continues.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  The refunded amount of, $82.14, has been placed in my checking account this morning.  It amazes me that I was originally told 6 to 8 weeks for a refund, then after eight weeks I was told there would be no refund, but after enlisting your help, the money was refunded to my account in 4 days.Great job, thanks Revdex.com!

[redacted] signed a Service Agreement (“Agreement”) with Waste Management which took effect on June 1, 2014 for twenty-four (24) months. The term runs through June 1, 2016, please see attachment.
[redacted] can still elect to cancel the Agreement; per Section 7 of the Agreement, will contractually owe liquidated damages for early termination.  Per your request your account canceled effective 06/01/2015 and the container was removed.
