RE: Complaint ID [redacted] Dear RevDex.com Representative: We have reviewed the most recent response from [redacted] relating to his complaint about the VIZIO television that he had purchased It is our understanding that Mr [redacted] has returned the VIZIO television that he purchased from Sam’s Club, which is the television that is the subject of his complaint As was told to Mr [redacted] , the Amazon Instant Video App that was preloaded on Mr Barrett’s television experienced issues due to technical compatibility difficulties This issue has now been resolved and as Mr [redacted] notes, the Amazon Instant Video App was fully operational on his television While noting the above, technology products do experience compatibility issuesThey also require updates (typically software updates) to either work or work as presented This is true whether the product is a smart phone, a computer or other sophisticated consumer electronics productIt is a fact arising from the open universe of software and hardware The important facts are that the compatibility issue has been resolvedThere is no longer any issue with respect to the operation of the Amazon Instant Video App on the VIZIO television VIZIO prides itself on customer service and doing what is right for the customer VIZIO goes out of its way to ensure that customers are happy with both VIZIO products and its customer service We are sorry that Mr [redacted] experienced this problemVIZIO always strives to be better and work harderIt will continue to do so in the futureWe hope that Mr [redacted] will be a future VIZIO customer Thank you VIZIO, Inc

Back in July I sent the following in an email to VIZIO: To Whom It May Concern, I purchased a VIZIO SmartCast E-series 32” tv from BJs Wholesale back on 2/22/ I live in a rural area and do not have the ability to get high-speed internet, therefore we use our cell phones as mobile hotspots for internet (just recently in the last few months) Having the app ON the phone and using the PHONE as the hotspot is causing quite a problem We cannot use the app on the phone because it does not understand that it IS the hotspot and it’s “confusing” the tv We have had nothing but problems since our purchase in not being able to use any of the functions, including the sleep timer In the past few weeks now our tv turns on in the middle of the night We have installed a [redacted] to stream [redacted] on our tv and we even tried turning the [redacted] off at night, changing the input to something other than the HDMI at night, with no success The tv continues to turn itself on so we now have resor
Vizio violated the good faith agreement on the warrant of a purchased Vizio Smart TVWhen the TV stopped working, Vizio offered to send a replacementThey waited for four months before sending the replacementThe replacement was completely defunctThey sent another replacement that died within four hours of initial useThey sent a fourth TV, refusing to extend the warranty for their negligenceThe fourth TV does not work properly, but since Vizio ran out my warranty by sending dead products, they are refusing to handle my caseThey offered that they could help meif I pay an additional $on top of my original purchase price BEWARE, total warranty scam!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The Imagines attatched shows pictures of other peoples unit that suffered the same defect as mine with no issue or resolution done to solve the unit either they informed us customers that the unit was out of warranty or that it was not their fault the unit is defected I also have more attachments to include regarding other peoples complaints on these kinds of problems and the 10% discount they continuously offer does not do anything to solve the problem I ran out of space to attatch further more images and screen captures of these complaints regarding this I will not be accept this response until a better action and resolution it taken to replace my television I informed the worker that emailed me yesterday about " Available OPTIONS" and he only listed one option which I've mention above is not an helpful option and th as that does not solve my issue and many people have dealt with this customer service and on this site they have terrible reviews which I'm not understanding how that have a A- when going through all listed reviews they should at least have a C- because they blame the consumers instead of solving the actual problem Regards, [redacted] ***

In continuation to complaint # [redacted] which was marked resolvedVIZIO reached out to me within hours of my last Revdex.com complaint to instantly resolve the problem to provide an out of service warranty for our TVI have the email stating their contract and I agreed to the terms - updated my Revdex.com as resolved & satisfiedToday, I was contacted that my TV is not able to be fixedKeep in mind this follows almost immediately after I resolved my complaint, and NO technician has seen my TVMy TV is fixable - it has sound but no pictureI was supposed to be held to a free repair service including parts/laborThe rep from VIZIO stated that it was a circuit issue based off their notes and even that is not covered by their warrantyIn reviewing their warranty online - This defect would be covered because it is not listed as one of their exclusions: This warranty does not cover, for example: cosmetic damage, wear and tear, improper operation, improper voltage supply or power surges, signal issues, damages from shipping, acts of God, any type of customer misuse, modifications or adjustments, as well as installation and sissues or any repairs attempted by anyone other than by a VIZIO authorized service centerProducts with unreadable or removed serial numbers, or requiring routine maintenance are not coveredI bought this at a reputable retailer years agoI feel scammed to accept their resolution to only after my case was closed that they called to tell us our only option is purchase a similar TV for $+ taxI feel not only do I feel that VIZIO acts unethically to resolve Revdex.com complaints to keep their complaints in the shadow, but they completely breached their contract agreement with usThey have provided us days to determine if we will accept their offer to purchase another TVSuch a shame to treat their consumers in this matter!!!VIZIO needs to uphold orig resolution or refund us!
