On 11/27/Mr/Ms [redacted] purchased the 72” Fireplace & Sound bar, the 5PC Aventura sectional, Carey twin daybed, Mirage twin mattress, and the Aventura white ottomanThis merchandise was delivered to Mr/Ms [redacted] ’s residence on 12/11/Mr/Ms [redacted] also purchased the *** [redacted] warranty.Upon receiving Mr/Ms [redacted] ’s information through the Revdex.com, I contacted the General Manager He has arranged last exchange, as Mr/Ms [redacted] has agreed for a final attempt for satisfactionThis exchange is scheduled for 02/19/I apologize for any inconvenience Mr/Ms [redacted] may have experienced If Mr/Ms [redacted] has any further questions or concerns they may contact me direct
I am rejecting this response because:Value City has made many promises to me throughout this horrendous ordealI have been giving the run around and put through very unnecessary aggravation Value City was notified, immediately about the repair tag and the fact we purchased what we thought was new furniture and in fact was sold under pretensesThey were notified immediately of our hardwood floors that were scratched, marred and gouged during delivery.We have tried repeatedly to work with this company and they have proven to me they can not be trustedObviously their record with the Revdex.com speaks for itself, over complaintsBelow you will find a small example of what, I am speaking, ofMrS [redacted] a Supervisor whom is with Value City promised he would take care of , usAnd would make sure our floor was replaced and our furniture replaced with new furnitureMrS [redacted] reassured me several times while on the phone with him he would handle, everything no more just broken promisesHe was supposed to phone me on the following MondayHe never called and when , I phoned the store he was on vacationNever heard from this man, againThat is just one incident of many with more employees than, I can name.Value City hasn't made any effort to contact me throughout this ordealI have made all the phone calls to corporate office and anyone, else that would get on the phoneThey knew about my repaired furniture and was supposed to have already replaced, itThey haven't made any, effort to even contact me.As far, as Mr [redacted] (insurance rep) he has been the most pleasant of all the people, I have spoken with but he hasn't produced any resultsOnce my floors are replaced and my repaired furniture replaced with new furniture then we can close this claimBut, until then...I don't believe a word that Value City Representatives tell meSorry to sound so sour but this company isn't working with morals or values that they need for me to be sure we will be taken care, of Regards, [redacted] ***

After receiving Ms [redacted] s rejection regarding the in store credit to select new merchandise the General Manager has agreed to pickup the Del Mar 4-piece sectional and Laguna glider recliner on 04/09/for a full refund in the amount of $If Ms [redacted] is not available for pickup on 04/09/she will need to contact Store Personnel ###-###-#### as the next available date for pickup is 04/12/
I previously filed a complaint in reference to damages made to my wall due to furniture deliveryI received an email from Revdex.com stating my case was closedHowever, the matter has not been resolvedI was told by VC manager Reginald S [redacted] on March 21st that I would be receiving a check as a reimbursement due to damagesBut it been al out two weeks and I still have not received a payment/check
I was told at time of purchase that I will be covered for five yearsNowhere on the brochure or the receipt it said how long is the coverageI will not accept anything but a repair, replacement, or full credit for the couchDo understand that bringing this sofa all the way to Delaware from Pennsylvania wil require me to pay for a rental vehicle large enough to pick this up along with any other fees since all of the nearby locations for American signature have shut down in my area

There is absolutely no stains due to petsThey are water stains on the couch which I even asked the technition how to clean it while he was hereAgain, I have two lb dogs that do not go on the sofa and are house broken and stay in their cage while I am not home (and the whole time the technician was here)He advised me to place the fabric from the cushions in the washer and to not tell the warranty company I was doing so (which I have no done) so instead I just flipped the cushions for now and there are no stains other than small spots from water or possibly spit up from my month old daughter (which can be cleaned)The dates are also wrong because while I was on the phone with the warranty company she informed me that the day I was calling was the 14th dayAnd if it was passed the 14th day that the sofa would not be covered therefore they sent someone out to repair the seams (which they would not have done if it was passed the time period)So that does not make sense at allAlso, the technition was very unprofessional making racist comments, asking me about my diamond ring and asking why "all white girls have huge solitaire diamonds" he was also promoting his own company on the side saying that he could clean the couch for meSo this is the type of technitions value city is relying on to approve or deny the warranty for my sofa? Very wrong and disappointing
