To whom it may concern,

As we stated on 10/7/14 the refund takes 3-5 business days to clear through the bank so the client must wait for this period to take place for the refund to be complete. It is not an overnight process.

Thank you for sending UAG this complaint. The legitimate issue at hand was resolved today 4/23/15. This client was canceled out on 4/9/15. When the account was closed a message is uploaded to GTX the escrow company that handles all funds. GTX forgot to close the account...

and charge the client more payment when they were not suppose to causing an over draft fee for the client. UAG contacted GTX they apologize and will cover the over draft fee. We have never put this client on hold for hours at a time the opposite he hung up on a representative by the name of [redacted] and was very rude. There is not reason to mail his all the documents when he has a secure login to the CRM and can view the documents online 24/7. His story does not ad up. The account is closed and there is no longer a working relationship between UAG and [redacted]. If you need further information please reach out to UAG. Kind Regards, United Advisors Group LLC

This client of UAG signed up with UAG last year. UAG submitted a consolidation with great lakes,  it was completed on 3/11 and she is in a forbearance. Client changed all her passwords and already created nslds. The client wants a full refund, but only refunding $101.45. The file has been...

closed. Kind Regards,United Advisors Group LLC

This client file has been closed out with a $248 refund.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was told that my account would be reviewed by a manager and I would be contacted. I have not been contacted by a manager just called again by the representative that I had spoke to. She was rude and had no regard to my concern. Every time I spoke about receiving a refund she told me that I do not qualify for a refund and she wanted to go over a contract that I did not agree to. They tell you that you need to send a tax income statement or pay stubs and that automatically puts you into another contact with the company. This company is a complete SCAM and no one should do business with them. They will only be available to you if you put in a complaint like I did. Why would I want to pay  a fee to a third party company to reduce the rate on my student loans when I can do that myself. They are frauds and taking money from people in the hopes that they can get a lower rate for their loans and have them paid off in 2 years. Regards,[redacted]

Thank you for letting us know about this complaint. United Advisors Group needs the client online access to move forward at this time for the renewal process. This client let management know he faxed in a cancellation fax in 2/20/15.  After review the file the fax was...

received and the mail clerk did not get it to the correct person in February.  This client did follow proper protocol sending in a written cancellation notice. The account will be canceled out and he will be refunded his 3 payments made this far. If you need any further information at this time please let us know.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[The above comments are completely out of context and unprofessional. My complaint was not about the fact that I did not understand the contract, my complaint was about the company not being truthful to customers about the services they provide, not replying to customer inquiries in a timely manor, and not reporting my information correctly to the Department of Education. I do understand that I should have read the contract word for word, however what they are telling me over the phone should also mirror what they contract says. My account with United Advisors Group has been closed and I was advised that I would not be held responsible for the remainder of the contract, however I do not feel that they handled this matter professionally. ]

This client was in the correct program for the last year. She was in a $0 qualifying income based program that went from 9/11/2014-9/11/2015. An employee by the name of [redacted] has left her a voicemail to assist her forward. Every year you must turn in new income to...

re apply for another 12 months. At this time we need her update income verification to re apply for another year.  At this time the client can send in her up to date 2 pay stubs from the last 30 days or tax returns and UAG can get them submitted to the servicer or we can cancel the account out. Please have the client contact [redacted] to make a decision. Thank you for your time.Kind Regards,United Advisors Group LLC

On day I will learn to research companies before I fall for their line of legal bureaucracy. A member [redacted] called me and kept me on the phone for 3 hours convincing me to let them help me reduce my School loan debt and have it paid off in 10 years instead of 20 years. I agreed and so did my husband. A double whammy. They took $ 316 from each of us one time and then approximately $100/month for 4 months. They promised we would here from them in 3 months with a response of accepted or declined. We paid them without a problem as a bank withdrawal and no response ever came. I started trying to call, email, text, and leaving messages within a few days to stop the process. No one answered the phone or returned my messages. I still to this date cannot reach them (949-556-3010). I had to change my debit card and checking account to stop them in their tracks and still no response from them. They are scamming individuals and getting away with it. They told me they worked with lawyers that could cut through the governmental red tape. What a joke!!!
DO NOT EVER ACCEPT THESE PEOPLES ADVICE OR AGREE TO LET THEM HELP YOU. THEY WON'T. THEY WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY.

The client is correct she sent in her pay stubs in December 2014 but UAG had been asking for them since August of 2014. That is 4 months AUG waited. We cant finish the process without pay stubs. As soon as UAG received the pay stubs Julia and Eve let the client know she does not qualify for the 10 year but she does qualify for the 20 year income base program. Before the program placement could be approved the client placed herself in forbearance canceling the program placement. Our renewals team called the client in March she did not even call in to cancel the account we contacted her then she wanted to cancel. She was canceled out from our service on 3/26/15. Once again this client does not qualify for a refund. The process would of been done sooner if she would have responded in August to UAG. If you need any further information please let us know.
Kind Regards,
United Advisors Group LLC

UAG spoke with the client and has refunded the client $289 dollars via ACH which takes 3-6 days depending on the clients bank.
United Advisors Group LLC

After reading this clients complaint it is very clear that she is misunderstanding the process and the service UAG is providing.  Back in August [redacted] walked the client through the entire agreement and
answered all questions clarifying all questions and concerns....

all your allegations you made in your complaint
already. If you wish I can go over everything with you again. [redacted] has called and emailed the client awaiting a response to assist her with the continued confusion. Its very important to UAG that each client understands the process thoroughly feeling satisfied with the process. The statement alluding that UAG told you your loans would be forgiven in 2 years is incorrect. There are not currently and programs through the Department of Education that forgive Federal Student loans that in 2 years. The program you signed for is a 10 year
forgiveness program as stated in the agreement you signed (10 year
public service loan forgiveness) as long as the client is employed full-time
for a public service organization. How the program works is the client makes 120 payments on-time the Department of Education allows the client to become
eligible to receive full forgiveness of the remaining balance (interest and principal) on Direct
Loans through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. UAG is not a debt negotiator nor or they affiliated with the government. UAG is a document prep company that process the consolidation on behalf the client to make sure they take full advantage of the best government program available. The service fee of $56.25 fee is for the service UAG is providing divided over 12 months to make it more affordable.  It does not go towards your loan payments. The agreement signed by the client clearly states multiple
times; (â01COur Service Fees are not payments on your student loan debt.
Our Service Fees are in addition to and independent of any of your
student loan obligations and are fees paid to us for services
rendered.â01D)The complaint requested full refund. In the agreement signed it states "14
day refund policy; â01CYOU MAY CANCEL THIS AGREEMENT WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM
THE DATE OF THIS AGREEMENT, WITHOUT PENALTY OR OBLIGATION, AND RECEIVE A
FULL REFUND OF ANY/ALL FEES PAID TO US.â01D). The client is not eligible for a refund. Please have the client call [redacted] so they can discuss the issues at hand and make a decision to move forward or cancel the service.
Thank you for your time please let me know if you need any further information at this time.Kind Regards,United Advisors Group LLC

To whom it may concern,

Client [redacted] signed up with United Advisors group formerly known as Student Loan Managers on 3/21/14. He current lender was out into forbearance by his request while the process of the consolidation took place. We cant submit the...

consolidation without references on the application and the clients reference was missing. A voice mail and email were sent on 3/25/14 after the first payment cleared on 3/21/14.  The information was received and the consolidation was submitted 4/16/14 through the Department of Education. I understand the client is not happy about the amount of time the consolidation take but he must realize we have not control over the Department of Education. The time it takes to process all depends on the number of application I line with the Department of Education. If we could speed them up trust me we would in a heart beat. This client is on tract and should be done any time. As soon the repayment terms are received we will send a copy to the client. 15 days following the repayment terms the summary letter will be received and the approval will be complete sending the client a copy. We are happy to answer any question [redacted] has during our business hours to ensure him that he is on track.
If you need further information please let me know going forward. Thank you for your time.

Kind Regards.

UAG explained to the client that her consolidation was rejected due to the fact that she has a FFEL loan with ACS. UAG explained to the client that she needs to...

complete the disability discharge to be entered into this program. Client understood and would like to continue with our services. Thank you for your time.

To whom it may concern,
Thank you for forwarding the complain from [redacted].  This client signed up with United Advisors Group on 6/5/14 @ 4:00 pm. The initial payment made by this client cleared 6/6/2014 through the trust company and the consolidation was submitted through the...

Department of Education. Since then the client has made 5 monthly payments.
United Advisors Group has not control over the  Department of Education and time it takes to process the application submitted. On average they take about 60-120 days. Once the Department of Education is complete they mail out a summary and repayment terms letting us know it has been processed and approved. This application is taking longer than most of our clients but unfortunately there is nothing we can do. United Advisors Group understands the frustration of the client. [redacted] a representative from UAG called the client today to discuss and the client has decided to hang up on us with out discussing. At this time we will part ways with the client and he can finish on his own. A refund will be submitted and sent to the client.  The account has been closed at this time. We have to follow the Department of Education process and cant reinvent the process for clients that are not happy with the DOW's process. We wish the client the best with the consolidation.  If you need any further information please contact us at your convenience.
Kind Regards,
United Advisors Group
