This client says she never sent in her taxes or pay stubs last year so in that case UAG couldn't have gotten her approved for the Income based repayment programThe clients husband emailed a picture of her Social security award letter on 4/showing a monthly income of $UAG submitted
the program placement which was approved and she is in a $payment Income based program until 5/1/ At this time she needs to provide new income for the month of May to renew with the department if Education for an income based programUAG tried calling but her number just beeps then hangs upUAG sent an email to call backShe put a stop payment on her monthly fee even though UAG did nothing wrongNothing wrong done by UAG

UAG does not pay the current student loan paymentsThe client is responsible in pay her current student loan payment until the consolidation goes throughOnce it has been approved they will pay the new lower amount approved by the department of educationThe fee paid to UAG is a service fee for a service providedThis is clearly stated in the contract signed by the clientI apologize if the client was unhappy with the customer service as we think customer service is very important to our company the clients pay did come back higher than quoted but this is due to the clients income since this is an income based program which UAG has zero control over UAG will refund one more payment to the client but has done work on the client file up until the file was cancelledIf you need any further information please reach out. This complaint had been resolved and the client is moving forward with UAGThe client was sent PSLF paper work (public service loan forgiveness) due to her employment AS soon as it is received back it will be processed with the lenderThe consolidation is still pending with

I’ve been going through this student loan debt consolidation company off and on for 3-Year’s now.They have been claiming that my student loan’s will be taken care of and then I have to make minimum payments on my loans each month of $They were claiming that the $it was going to my loans but in reality it was only going for their service which should’ve been free of chargeSo I was going through them for a solid one year and then I ended up canceling when it was coming to the End of year recertificationSo then I stopped going through them for that following year then they talked me coming back for this year again still on the same 41$ planI want them to refund all the money that I had paid them during the time that I was going through them for my loanThey are a advertising group that handles student loans but they actually do notThey charge a fee that should be for a free serviceThe company that actually handles my loan is ***And for a while I thought it was doing it alone managers aka United advisors groupThey are just a business that are after everyone's money so they lie to people saying they handle loans when they do notSo all the money that I had paid them thinking it was going towards my loan I want all that reimbursed because it didn't apply onto my student loansAnd after a while I noticed I stopped going to them for a bit maybe like almost a year then one day I check my credit score and impacted my loans because I was not paying the other place that was the real one in charge of my loans *** so my credit score dropped points due to that incidentI don't know if it's possible if my credit can also be fixed too if I can't get reimbursed the money that I had paid through them

agreement for service signed by the client when they sign up clearly states the above information as well the client can do this on their own or hire UAG for their services.Janet submitted her proof of income on 1/4/18 which UAG was waiting for and submitted the Program placement on 1/8/18. It takes on average to get the approval. The client requested to cancel services with UAG on 1/11/17. A manager has tried calling and emailed in, but she hasn't called or emailed back so far. Her file was cancelled.UAG has done [redacted]rything they were supposed to; this client would prefer not to pay us any longer. Her account has been closed with UAG. Her payment to her lender for the student loan previously was about $100.00. Her new qualified payment in the income-based program was $0.0a month to her lender.UAG has done everything they were supposed to; this client would prefer not to pay us any longer. On 5/14/2015 this client sent the following email.
"I [redacted] hereby revoke...

United Advisors Group?AC??s authorization to debt my account. Any request from United Advisors Group to debt my account is unauthorized, any farther transaction attempts are unauthorized. Please stop or refund any other money taken from this account by this company."
A representative has tried calling the client but no answer this account has been cancelled out with UAG and GTX (escrow company).

It seems there is a misunderstanding about  UAG and service to be provided.  UAG will clarify before misleadingly calling the company fraudulent. This person's son signed up with UAG to have his federal student loans consolidated and placed into the PAYE (pay as you earn) repayment...

and forgiveness program. As stated in the contract attached, her son was informed both in writing and verbal during the compliance call that he is responsible for making lender payments to his current lender until the consolidation is completed or unless he can get into forbearance. UAG also told him that the consolidation and program placement will not be completed until he sends us proof of his income since the PAYE program is income based. This require two current pay stubs or tax returns. Furthermore, we gave him the payment break down, explained our cancellation and refund policy, and gave him the email address and fax number to send his proof of income. Her son had a welcome call scheduled for 3/13/2015 at 9:30am PST and he did not answer. During the welcome call we go over everything stated above again and we answer any questions. Unfortunately, your son missed the welcome call so we emailed him instead, reminding him that we still need his proof of income. All we need to complete the consolidation is the proof of income to process the program placement phase. That is the last step in the process. She can read page 1, section 5 of the service agreement attached for our cancellation and refund policy. Also, please read page 2, section 14, Letter G of the service agreement and read section 7 of the Disclosers document, both state clients are not to miss lender payments. If you need any further information please let UAG know. Kind Regards,United Advisors Group LLC

This client will not be continuing with UAG. UAG should have done her program placement about 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately an employee is not longer with UAG did not add this client to the list for program placement when her proof of income was received. UAG did consolidated her loans but we didn't do her program placement and it should have been done. The client will be refunded for June and July when the program placement should have been done.  This file will be closed out and she will continue to work on her own account. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
UAG has advised that they will cancel my account if they do not hear from me by 9/7/15.  They were contacted by e-mail on 9/2 advising that I wanted to cancel my contract due to the fact that they have an F rating with Revdex.com and that they advised me that by signing their contract, the $48 monthly would be applied toward my student loans.  I received correspondencefrom Federal Student Loans advising that this was not true and that I was behind $650.   UAG charged $369 for me to sign on and $48  monthly x 12 months.  I discovered from Federal StudentLoans that UAG was not considered a legitimate company prior to my sending a copy of my income verification to them.  Therefore, I am requesting to cancel this contract and have  my money refunded.
