Thank-you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation GE is not agreeable to providing a replacement refrigerator or making a payment towards the unit that has already been purchased. The unit that failed was shipped by GE during August 2006. Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situationGE attempted to repair the consumer’s in warranty microwave, but there was a part backorder issue. Our consumer relations department agreed to process a no charge product exchange. The order was placed yesterday
afternoon and the delivery company will be contacting the consumer early next week to arrange the delivery, installation and haul away of the defective unit. This should be completed next week and will not take weeks. Our consumer relations department also processed a check for $so the consumer can go out and purchase a small countertop microwave during for holiday week. [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolutionPlease respond here ONLY]I had my water tech back out immediately after GE sent their tech outstill no issues found with my water nor the treatments- GE could say it's because I had city water or because this or that- I followed directions from the last tech PERFECTLY and still ended up with problemsI understand the problem doesn't make sense, but it doesn't mean it's any less of a problemI have no problems trying it their way for weeks, but in the mean time, if more clothes and items get ruined then what? Will GE THEN take responsibility for it? I just purchased a home and bought a lot of new items for it (ie bath towels and curtains ect) that cant be returned if ruinedi'm already out hundreds on clothing as it stands now Is GE going to compensate for all that? How do you even compensate for a favorite perfectly fit and broken in tee you've had seemingly forever that now has bleach holes in it? Or do I just simply risk it and keep trying? It seems absurd not to just swap out the defective machineI will try it their way for weeksbut this single solution is not a resolution to my problem and could potentially cause more with no accountability.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer's situation. I just called Mr*** to discuss the issues he's had with his GE dishwasher but I had to leave a voicemail I mentioned that I can see that he's been working with Al in our consumer relations department regarding

Mr* *** continued to work with GE Consumer Relations GE serviced the refrigerator in question on 6/23/ GE also reversed some service charges associated with a previous service call on 6/17/

[Hello, I just read today that my complaint with GE Appliances was closed and marked as answeredI apologize I did not see this message earlier but just got another response I was waiting from GE Appliances (Working with ***) todayThey replaced my 2nd non working dishwasher so now have a 3rd that is working properly but for my answer about reimbursement for time which I stated was approximately days home for service calls which has now been closer to days totalI feel that this is unreasonable for GE to expect this to be for customers to have to take this much time to work with non working appliancesThe representative I am have been working with (***) indicated that GE does not reimburse for any time/work lostWhich I indicated the price of the dishwasher not the thousands lost in work (days at hours)He said GE's only offer was dishwasher replacement (he did offer to buy it back and I could go buy a different dishwasher)I chose replacement because it is the slate color that no other company currently sellsI am still very disappointed with GESincerely, *** *** ]
