The consumer has not returned my voice mail. Prior to me reaching out our consumer relations department had made a very generous prorate offer to replace his year old microwave but the consumer kept putting them off. Those offers have now expired

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I spoke with *** he offered the Letter of Commitment for one year I feel that the entire unit should be replaced, since the issue started months after the initial delivery and has been chronic I told *** that I would accept the total reimbursement of parts and labor for the most recent service call and the Letter of Commitment I believe this is more than fair In addition to the lost time of having the the unit work correctly, I have had to take off from work to address this, had average electric bill $more a month (due to the fan running continuously) The comment of being years old is not really valid, because it has not worked correctly from the beginning and I feel they should stand behind their product

When I spoke with *** from the GE's*** office, I shared I am out of town until Friday so a first appointment will not work for this week. They were going to look at Saturday or next week, but then I had a voicemail that they will be at my condo at AM on Friday. No one will be home to let them in the condo.

Thank-you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situationOn 9/1/our CR department received word that *** was going to exchange the consumer's refrigerator. On 11/10/we received a legal notice requesting an exchange of their unit and $1,in legal fees. On 11/13/I
spoke with Mr*** who stated that *** never followed through on their commitment to exchange their refrigerator. As a gesture of good will I agreed to exchange their refrigerator even though there were no issues with the unit at the time, but I would not pay the $1,in legal fees. I left that offer on the table for weeks. They refused my offer. Recently we received another letter from an attorney stating that the consumer would like the offer extended again to exchange their unit. Their unit is still in perfect working condition. I spoke with the attorney and stated the offer was a one time offer that was open for weeks. However I did offer to extend the warranty of the refrigerator for another year. I never heard backThe consumer's refrigerator is in perfect working condition. Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance
