Staples is certainly sorry that the Rebate did not process as it should haveWe have issued Courtesy Coupon via email to the customer for $to take care of the $rebate he did not get

However I did respond but your website was not working right and when I went back to do it again it would not let me I did not agree to let them update my programs nothing was said to me about it at the time that took my computer in and I do not accept their side of the complaint and will never do business again with Staples They only have a thirty day warranty where *** *** has a year on their computer repair

I just drove in the pouring Los Angeles rain storm to a Staples to see if the $coupon was goodAfter choosing my items, and standing in a long line, at which only checkers were working, I learned that I would have to purchase items at least equal to the coupon amount, or it was a no dealSo, it was a no deal and I left the store and drove home in the pouring Los Angeles rain storm, without itemsThis 'equal to or more' disclosure was not disclosed to the consumer nor was this disclosure printed on the coupon; and, of course, no one at the store level could budge another 'jump through the hoops of fire' that Staples puts its customers through before it can purchase and leave 'happy'There! Wasn't that EASY?!

This has also been submitted to the FTC for advertisingI do in fact have the order emails, the screen shots, a voice mail from a "supervisor", links to others who have been scammed by this bait and switch, and other evidence in this matter. The order was placed while the item showed still in stock at the advertised priceThe company, Staples, at that time put a pending hold on my account for the amount of the price of purchase, and that hold continues todayI have put in a dispute with ***, but my cash in my account is continued to be held in relation to this orderMy conformation email indicated a shipping dateI am able to provide thisAt the time (9:52am EST 11/28) when I got the out of stock message almost hours after placing the order, I returned to the website and the item was not only still in stock, but in stock in the store as well - but at full priceI was told be a service agent I could buy the item at full price if I wanted to, which amounts to bait and switchThe receipt I received and the hold put on my funds is a contractThat did not, under any circumstances, list that this was a limited item that I might not receive. Not only were limited qualities not specified on my confirmation email receipt, but a hold has been on the amount in my account with no release since that timeJust the inconvenience alone of missing out on other sales that day due to the abysmal service AND still having a hold on my account, sorry doesn't cut itThis is not only advertising, but unacceptable servicePossibly illegal, as well, in that Staples put a hold on my funds since this past monday for a product they did not have intent to sell to me and under truth in advertising laws.If nothing else, just the poor service alone and the lies being told here, are reasons enough to reject a shallow apology

This is *** *** Here is the receiptThe date is 10/14/Staples on my bank statementThe computer was damage while it was displaced at the storeThe staple employees did not do their job correctly, and as they agreed toIf they would of have, the computer would have been sent out on time Not two weeks later After, I had to call to Staples store backAlso, I would still have my computer I have the shipping records, and dates if need
