Their app/service is unusable. I have paid up-front fees and the app simply does do what it is supposed to for a long time.
I have had had access to their service that allows me to go to the movies once a day. I have only been able to see 2 movies in a month. I paid an extra fee for a debit card, and I have been unable to use this in the 2 weeks I have had it. I have made multiple attempts to email and message on facebook (they provide no phone numbers) and have not received a response. It is hard to feel that this is not simple theft. An app cannot be that unworkable for this long.
I want the app to start working and to be refunded for out of pocket expenses incurred.
WOnt approve by ID verification or deny just stuck in limbo with no processing
approve ID verification photos submitted should qualify perfectly charge already made anyway.

I've paid for a year of service from Sinemia. For the past few months I get errors on the app. I done troubleshooting. I keep reaching out to company.
I purchased a year of service on 8/15. The price was around $95. I paid via cerdit card. I havent been able to use it since January. Any time I try to buy tickets via the app I get a generic error. I've made several attempts to contact someone at Sinemia and never got a response from human. In a recent interview with the CEO he claims there aren't any ongoing issues.
I want the service to work or my money back.
I paid for the service but didn't get it.
On March 31 (Sunday), I wanted to use my movie pass to watch Apollo 11, I found that I cannot book the movie ticket in App. I've tried to uninstall and re-install the App, still didn't work. I contacted them immediately, but no one reply me. I then use my own money to buy that ticket.
For 3/31 to 4/17, I've contacted Sinemia more than five times. No one ever responded to that.
The current issue is that I'm still being charged but cannot buy any movie pass. I'm quite sure I did everything in right routine. As I have used Sinemia for 4 months and nothing went wrong. Suddenly they stopped to provide service to customers who are paid.
If you look at the reviews in Sinemia App in Apple store, I'm not the only one suffering from their terrible service. It's cheat.
Providing me the service I deserve and refund me the movie tickets I bought by my own money in March, Or Refund me the unused months' membership (Mar to Sep, 7 months)
Their service isnt working
I joined Sinemia last dec and paid annual fees. I have not been able to purchase my movie ticket from their apps since this April. WHen I confiemd my ticket purchase, I got ERROR in my app and was not able to get my ticket. I have contacted their support via emails and have not received any response from them, I would like either get my money back or they fix their app.
Please either credit me back prorated, or fix their APP.
This has been fixed this weekend. However, this is the 2nd time I encountered the same issue since I joined them. Please close this case. Thank you.
Don't use this service, I have not been able to use the service I paid a year in advance for for the past few weeks. They have not responded to me on any of the support channels I have reached out to.

Sinemia is my WORST buying experience to date. This company finds time to flag reviews on Trustpilot and to whitewash its Wikipedia page but does nothing to fix the real issue - that it is actively denying subscribers the services that they paid for. On top of that, they have invalidated the value of their gift cards. When asked, their reply is that the issues has been sent to tech with the highest priority. That's laughable. There have been 13 updates to the app since February 2019 and the issues have not been fixed. The only way you *** actually use your movie days is if you call them out on Twitter or leave a scathing review on Trustpilot.
If you are also an unhappy subscriber, consider the legal actions and investigations pending against Sinemia. Spread the word on social media. These won't cause you a thing but will, hopefully, deter the next company that thinks it *** act as dishonestly as this one has.
Call your credit card company for a chargeback. It's a hassle but worth it knowing that they don't have your money. If told that too much time has passed, specify that your reason is Defective Merchandise/Service (Dispute Code 13.3 for Visa; 4853 for Mastercard). Under the rules, a chargeback *** be made up to 120 days after the last day that services were supposed to be rendered as long as it is not 540 days from the original payment date.
After sending multiple emails and messages on social media, I have not received any response from Sinemia in regards to the Error! message that I keep receiving when attempting to purchase a movie ticket. Like many users of the service, I have been receiving the Error! message for several days even after making sure that the app is updated to the latest version.
I purchased the one-year membership late last year and would like to see this issue resolved so that I *** get what I paid for. If that is not possible, I will push for a partial refund of what I paid for the service. Sinemia membership has been a burden from day one due to countless issues when purchasing tickets and nonexistent customer service, I will never recommend this company!

I purchased an annual membership in May 2018. For the past 3 weeks (as has happened even before that), I cannot use any of my allocated movie tickets. This has happened several times, but recently, it appears to be a permanent issue with the app. The error reads "an unknown error occured. Please try again later!" and that's it. There is no way to reach a live customer service representative. This is pure fraud. This business needs to be stopped, and I am hoping an attorney will start a class action lawsuit against this company.
I have been having problems with this app for two months. And their customer service is awful.
Problem: Using the app, I should be able to purchase tickets through the app (recently they have connected users to the theatre to do this. But with my membership, I am able to use the 'Advance Planning' feature ). However, when I get to the screen to select my movie, it does not advance further allowing me to select seats or purchase tickets. I've tried multiple theatres and multiple movies. All stop me at the movie selection screen.
What I've done on my own: I've checked for new software and my phone is updated. I've turned off my phone and turned it back on. And I've deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it. Still experiencing the same problem.
Of the four times I have contacted them (which is only available online - not through the app and there is no customer service number), they have only answered once. And that one reply was "we cannot locate any issue with your membership. You *** create your tickets without any problems. Best regards Luke". As you *** see, that answer did not address my problem. Then they closed the ticket.
At this point, I would like to cancel my membership, after getting a full refund of my annual membership.
This is not my first complaint about Sinemia. They addressed my previous complaint after I asked and asked and asked, but now the app has become unusable again. Three times in the last week I've gone to a movie, and all three times the app has not let me buy a ticket while standing in the theater lobby. There is no explanation given by the app, just an "Error" message. Basically, I have thrown away a bunch of money on Sinemia's service because I can't use it to see movies. (I've also been reading online that people have had their accounts mysteriously canceled once they break even on the number of movies they see, as if Sinemia is trying not to lose money on its product, which makes me very nervous.) I have emailed Sinemia three times in the last week and a half, but have not heard back. Please fix the app immediately.
Either ensure that I will be able to purchase tickets when I try to use the service I've paid for, or give me a refund.
Very unacceptable! We paid for a year in advance. We have been trying to get movie tickets for 2 weeks now and have had no success. We HAVE used them before, yes it was a rough experience but we finally figured it out! Now we have it all figured out, and we are getting an error message saying to try back again later. We have tried many times with no luck! I have sent several emails with no responses! And there is no phone number available to call! We also bought my parents tickets for a year for Christmas and they have had troubles as well! Very unprofessional! I'm beginning to believe that Sinemia is a SCAM and have our money with no way of us getting it back!

On June 23, 2018 I paid $239.88 for a Sinemia Elite 12-month pre-paid membership plan for 2 people. The Elite membership offered me 4 movie tickets per month 2 of which could be IMAX tickets. Per Sinemia's requirements, this $239.88 prepaid for my entire year of membership up front.
MEMBERSHIP PLAN PURCHASED:

PAID $239.88 for:
Elite Plan paid-in-advance for 12 months of membership
Plan includes 2 Movie Days per Month for 2 People
(4 total tickets per month, including 2 Premium (IMAX) tickets per month)
After purchasing the membership I attempted to use the service every single week with very little success. It has been an unreasonably tedious and time-consuming experience riddled with technical problems and constant policy changes and fees that were not included in the original Terms of Service. Multiple attempts to contact customer support through every possible channel have gone unanswered.
In the 10 months since I've had a Sinemia membership, I've been able to successfully secure only 4 TICKETS through the platform THE EQUIVALENT OF JUST 1 MONTH OF SERVICE.
DETAILS:
FIRST: For the entire life of the membership, it has taken no less than one hour and usually two hours to attempt to process movie tickets due to a confusing, time consuming, rarely working website and app riddled with constant technical issues. In the vast majority of cases, I have eventually given up and been unable to process movie tickets and use my membership.
NEXT: The few times I was able to actually use my membership, there were additional fees for tickets and processing that were added to transactions. These fees were not in the original Terms of Service.
NEXT: A few months into the membership, I was attempting to process movie tickets and found a "hold" put on our account requiring the uploading of additional documents to "verify my account" which was, of course, already verified when I purchased the membership. The app required that I upload a photo of my face and torso holding my driver's license. This requirement was also NOT included in the original TERMS of SERVICE when I signed up for the account. This opens up all kinds of questions about identity theft and why is it that Sinemia needs this information now when I already have a secure account?
It took WEEKS to resolve this issue, remove the hold and re-enable our account. Once again with the time ticking away wasting valuable days and weeks of our membership due to Sinemia's poor customer service. I was not refunded for any of that time or money.
THEN: A few weeks later after taking two hours again to attempt to process tickets I found a new "HOLD" on my account ... stating that I "didn't check in" the last time I went to a movie. The fact is that the "check in" feature of the app failed as their website and app fail on a weekly basis. Adding insult to injury, I was then charged a "Misuse Fee" for their mistake! And once again, my account is now frozen. This was EIGHT WEEKS AGO.
So I am now back in the familiar position of not being able to use a service for which I have already pre-paid! I have contacted Sinemia about this over and over and over through every possible channel for EIGHT WEEKS with NO REPLY.
Each time Sinemia has frozen my account, it has taken weeks to rectify this is LOST TIME in our rapidly-ticking-down 1-year membership.
Every single time I have attempted to use my paid membership, I have had problems with the service and every single time, I've attempted to contact Sinemia customer service to no avail. There is no chat support. There is no phone support. Sinemia does not reply to customers on social media nor do they respond to email messages. I have sent multiple messages through every single channel with absolutely no reply. Not one. I've even sent LinkedIn messages to their CEO, ***, and received no reply!
I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THE TERMS UNDER WHICH I PURCHASED THE $239.88 SINEMIA ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP HAVE BEEN AGREGGIOUSLY VIOLATED IN NUMEROUS WAYS. As a result, I have only been able to use the service to obtain 4 movie tickets, which equates to 1 month of membership a value of $19.99 (12 months x $19.99 = $239.88). THEREFORE, I AM DEMANDING A REFUND of $219.89, which equates to the full membership fee ($239.88) minus the 4 tickets ($19.99) I was able to use. NOTE: IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR SINEMIA TO SIMPLY REACTIVATE OUR ACCOUNT FOR THE REMAINING MONTHS LEFT IN OUR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP AND REMOVE THE "MISUSE FEE." That does not compensate for the membership that we've paid for, yet been unable to use! I demand a prompt refund of $219.89.
Sinemia's App to buy movie tickets hasn't worked for me since 3-31-2019. I sent them an email on 3-31 and 4-9-2019 and never heard back from them.
Sinemia's App for buying movie tickets to any movie theater and for any movie has not worked for me since 3-31-2019.

1 year membership for $59.88 was purchased on 3-6-2019 to be able to see 2 movies per month at any movie theater and for any movie.
I saw 1 movie on 3-16-2019 with my membership, but after that the app hasn't worked at all. Each time I try to purchase a ticket through the app I get an "error" message saying: "An Unknown error *** Please try again later!"
On X-XX-XXXX I tried to purchase a movie ticket, but got an "error" message. I tried a few more times to purchase a ticket and still got the same "error" message. I then had to purchase a movie ticket that night with my own money and paid $17.
The company does not have a phone number to call, just an email address that they say to email customer support. I emailed "***@sinemia.com" on 3-31-2019 telling them of the problem with the app and that I had to pay $17 for a movie ticket with my own money. I instantly got a quick reply back from their automated system saying that my email was received and a service ticket was generated and that someone would respond to my email as soon as they can.
I didn't get any response back after that.
On 4-9-2019 I sent another email regarding the issue I had on 3-31-2019 with the app and having to pay $17 for a movie ticket with my own money and that I have not heard back yet from them regarding the problem or crediting my account for the movie ticket cost.
On 4-16-2019 I tried to use the app again to purchase a movie ticket and the same "error" message keeps coming up.
On 4-11-2019 a new update for the app was released from the company. Even with the update the app to purchase movie tickets does not work.
I read a review that someone wrote saying that the company makes an "error" message appear in the app when the company is low on money in the bank which prevents customers from purchasing movie tickets through their app.
I paid for a 1 year membership which I should be able to use, but it's only worked for me 1 time and that's it. I keep getting emails about sales and discounts the company is offering for memberships, but their app/product doesn't work.
Either they need to fix their app and allow people to purchase tickets, or I want a full refund of my 1 year membership of $59.88

Sinemia app does not work - Sinemia refuses to respond to my inquiries
My Sinemia app stopped working out of the blue, meaning I cannot purchase movie tickets through the application. Sinemia refuses to respond to my multiple customer support emails. Essentially, I paid for a fake service - I was charged by Sinemia for a year-long membership for discounted movie tickets, yet cannot purchase movie tickets through Sinemia. If this isn't a scam, I don't know what is.
I would like Sinemia to refund my membership in full.

I paid for a one-year subscription to Sinemia movie app. Up to three movies a month, spent over 100 dollars. The app has not worked for the past two weeks. Whenever I try to select a movie, I get "error". I have an account and so does my wife. We are current, the app is updated, location service on. I desire a full refund for the pain and rip-off of Sinemia.
Since the app does not work, I desire a full refund of my year subscription. My wife has a monthly subscription, she should get 14 dollars back for the month the app has not worked.

Even though I paid for the yearly plan and a credit card, the app does not work and gives me an error message when trying to book a movie.
They lack honesty and transparency. They do not tell you that qthey will charge you a fee for booking a ticket. To avoid paying that fee, you have to purchase a credit card that costs $14. Thy keep asking you for tips on the rare occasion the service actually works. but when you try to book a movie, it keeps giving you an error message. I have reached out to customer service several times since Friday, but did not hear back from them.
I want them to be more transparent, and I want them to fix the issue so that I *** actually use their service.
Sinemia contracted to provide discounted movies for a year. They have not provided them. App doesn't work. Customer service doesn't resolve problems.
I purchased an annual contract for discounted movies with Sinemia starting November 12, 2018. The plan is to provide three movies per month paid for by Sinemia. I have been able to see a total of six movies as of April 17. Their app has (a) provided error messages in the hundreds of times, (b) not sent notifications as stated in their materials, (c) their payment link was declinded by Atom (movie provider) when it was given. I have contacted their Customer Service repeatedly via email (11/29/18, 1/10/19, 2/16/19, 3/19/19, 4/16/19, and 4/17/19) via their Twitter support (12/11/18, 12/18/18, 1/12/19,1/19/19, 3/21/19, 4/17/19) and sent an eight page registered letter to the president and CEO of the company that included screen shots of the messages I'd received and the claims the company has made that have not been accurate. At one point, my account was frozen pending payment of an additional fee for one of the few movies I've actually been able to see. That fee was removed, but only after weeks of my being barred from using the app. Since that time, the app has worked only once to allow me to see a movie. I've retained copies of scren shots from multiple error messages.
Sinemia contracted to provide me with discounted attendance to 36 movies (12 months X 3 movies/month). The contract period is half over, and they've provided me with access to six movies. I'd like to be reimbursed for the 12 movies I was unable to see in the first half of the year and the 18 for the remainder of the year. I paid $107.88 for the contracted services and have received one sixth of the value contracted for. So I'd like a refund for the other five-sixths, or $89.54.
