I am rejecting this response because: EVERYTHING that this company stated in the contract that they would uphold was...

bogus!.  I was suppose to receive half of my money back.  Today, I received a check for $74 dollars without an explanation as to what this covers!  I had this service for exactly 6 months and only received $74.00 out of $400.00...WHY!!! This company is getting away with MURDER!!!! I as seriously considering small claims court! This is ridiculous

The customer was already approved for $150 towards their claim. Since the customer is not able to provide us with maintenance records as requested we are unable to increase that allowance. If the customer can supply us with the requested documents we can review their claim for a potential increase.

Select Home Warranty did request maintenance records from the customer as listed on the Terms & Conditions that the customer signed.  The copy of the contract I have included in this complaint is listed on our website under Terms & conditions which is updated periodically. Select Home Warranty did request the maintenance records from he customer and they were not provided, the customer then requested for cancellation. We do acknowledge that the customers Terms of Agreement is different that the more updated copy I provided, but, it still stated we require maintenance records.We would have been more than happy to assist the customer further at the time we were processing the claim, but, the customer requested for cancellation which has been honored.

We have assigned a technician that works on the customers brand for the dishwasher, and we do apologize for the delay with the check , it has been mailed as of 1/12/2015, per the phone call on 01/04/2016.

I am rejecting this response because: this is the response the company has given to the vendor for months- I am requesting confirmation that they have spoken to the vendor regarding my claim not a canned...

Select Home Warranty advised the customer that we do not cover sensors for the garage door opener, the opener will open and close without the sensors as the motor is main component that allows the door to move up and down.  Sensors are optional they do not mechanical power the garage door...

opener, unfortunately we do not cover the sensors, that allow the customer to use a remote control to open and close the door.

To expedite the refund process we have refunded $799.98 back to the customers credit card. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We went ahead and processed a full refund for this customer. They should be able to view their refund on their credit card statement within the next 2-3 business days.

I am rejecting this response because: I spoke to the warranty company on the phone they still have not addressed helping with the original claim on the water heater. They said that my refund of the policy had been mailed out on the 14th of July which I have not received. They would waive a cancellation fee which I have not seen. I asked if their call had to do with the Revdex.com and they would not answer nor are they willing to help with the payment to the water heater as originally promised. Again I have not seen the refund of the policy nor the promise cancellation fee waived.

Select Home Warranty is more than happy to waive the 75.00 cancellation fee for the customer. The customer did purchase the policy in 08/2014 and had 4 months of coverage with us.We are very well of aware of the customers experience with the service he did receive and would like to apologize for the inconvenience in this matter.We are more than willing to assist the customer with the cancellation if he would like to give us a call and we can finalize his request.

We did reach out to the customer. They do want to cancel the policy. we have waived any penalties and cancellation fees for the refund amount. They will receive a refund check in 14-21 days.

I am rejecting this response because:I verified with my title company and they have not received the check either at their single location or the headquarters downtown. When I spoke with a rep on 9/21 at various times throughout the day I was told a check hadn't been issued. I will accept resolution when I have the check in hand.  Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: Select has chosen to pay ONLY part of the claim. They refuse...

to pay the FULL amount for the claim that was submitted. They will only pay $ 288 out of the $ 627.50 that is owed. Select still refuses to process the other claim for $ 2750 that I have submitted. Each time I call Select chooses a different reason NOT to process and pay the claim for $ 2750.So, Select has chosen NOT to pay the full amount for each claim. Select wants me to settle a small portion of the work that was done to repair a heating system in which I have a warranty on. I will be out of pocket $ 3089.5

We received the refund check today in the amount of $585.35.Thank you for your help with this process. As I stated, we don't feel they honored their end of our contract and should have refunded two full years. We simply needed our washing machine serviced and after a month of trying we were finally instructed to call our own service company and they would reimburse us. After seeing all of the stories on the Revdex.com pages, I knew we would have been pro-rated in that reimbursement according to appliance age etc. This was their game. Every scenario is like clock work. I also wanted to mention that after you contacted them they tried to force a contractor to service me. They refused the job for multiple reasons. The contractor called me to tell me why .. First and foremost, Select Home Warranty owed him money and he had been trying to collect and he refused to do any additional work until they paid him. And, I was outside of his travel radius even if he would accept the job.

We did speak with the customer and the technician. Veteran appliance was sent a work order to go out.

The coverage for plumbing fixtures is listed as a separate entity altogether, it is offered separately on the website and on the  front page of the contract which the cutomer is required to sign.We list it under optional coverage because it is not offered in the regular plumbing coverage, if the customer chooses to cancel they will receive a pro-rated refund.The customer may call Select Home Warranty to request cancellation and we will be able to answer any questions or concerns.

Select Home Warranty has been in touch with the customer and offered the customer 75.00 they have signed the Reimbursement agreement, we will the check on Friday, August 14 2015.
