I am rejecting this response because:  Once again, this information has already...

been provided to Select.  All 3 invoice copies for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 maintenance are marked as paid in full.  In addition, I submitted the cancelled check from last year's maintenance, which they also acknowledged receiving.  I have only owned the property for 17 months, however the same heating company has serviced the property for more than 15 years, so the previous 2 years maintenance records were supplied by them under the former owner's name (Savage), with both invoices clearly marked as paid in full.  They can contact the maintenance company - [redacted] - for verification if needed.   Their phone number is printed on all three invoices ###-###-####.

Select Home Warranty will send the customer a refund breakdown.

I am rejecting this response because: I UNDERSTAND THE AGREEMENT DOES NOT COVER THE SHINGLES REPAIRS WHICH IS ( $728.05), BUT I WAS REFERRING TO MY AGREEMENT THAT SAID (6.4.2. LIMITED ROOF REPAIRS: THIS AGREEMENT APPLIES TO ROOF LEAK REPAIRS OVER THE OCCUPIED LIVING AREA OF A SINGLE FAMILY HOME. THIS AGREEMENT COVERS THE ROOF LEAKS ONLY.MY REPAIRS OVER THE OCCUPIED LIVING AREA IS ($476.75)

The customer has already been informed by multiple representatives that the maximum approved allowance on their claim is $200. No additional funds due at this time.

Select Home Warranty is mailing a check for the customers refund which was calculated according to the agreed upon Terms of Agreement.

As of 7/27/17 an official diagnosis was received from the contractor. In addition we had received photographs on 7/31/17. The customer has been approved the maximum allowance on this claim of $150. If the customer can provide us with the three years maintenance records we requested we can review their claim for an additional allowance.

We will send a full refund check to the customer by check. please allow 14-30 days to arrive.

We did speak to the technician and he does have appointment to go out to the customer. The customer may call [redacted] at [redacted] for help with this issue. We have already left the customer a few phone messages.

The customer placed an ac claim. The ac issue was not a covered issue. We have already gone above the policy terms and gave the customer a full refund. That is the most we can do.

We did speak to the customer and reexplained the coverage. The issue they are having is a leaking water heater. Issue like this fall outside of coverage. Please sees section 6.2.7 This Agreement does NOT cover solar or tankless water heating systems or the components thereof. This Agreement...

The customer wa advised that Select Home Warranty is unable to cover water leaks from the Hot Water Heater per the Terms of Agreement, the cusotmer  disagreed with the resolution and requested to cancel, because of a denial.See Below:6.2.7. Water Heater. This Agreement covers all modules, components and parts of the water heater necessary to the functionality of the water heater.This Agreement does NOT cover solar or tankless water heating systems or the components thereof. This Agreement does NOT cover the following list of modules, components and parts relating to the water heating system:(i) flues; (ii) drain piping; (iii) pressure reducing valve; (iv) leaks(v)pumps The customer was refunded per the Terms of Agreement.See Below:13.2. Cancellation by You. You may cancel this Agreement within thirty (30) days from the Order Date of this Agreement, as set forth on the schedule page accompanying this Agreement. In the event you cancel within the thirty (30) day period, the You shall be entitled to a full refund if and only if, no service has been provided under the contract. After the thirtieth day, you may receive a refund pro-rated at the non-discounted annual plan cost. A $75 cancellation fee will be charged and any service costs incurred by Select Home Warranty.

We spoke with the cutomer. We have issued a full refund , we have waived any prorated or cancellation  fees. A check will be going out in the next 3-5 business days.

We did speak to the customer and the reimbursement check is on the way.

Per the diagnosis from the technician this unit is a sealed system and sealed systems are not covered under our contract. We are currently trying to get in touch with this customer and have a left a message to return our call.

The cutomer had an ac claim that was not a covered claim. The customer elected to cancel and we have already refunded the last payment and waived the cancellation fee. We will refund one more payment.

We have already gone above the policy terms for the custumer by waiving the cancellation  fee. The customer had a sealed system, problem with the fridge please see section 6.2.1 of parts that aren't covered. I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with Mr. [redacted], supervisor on 1/24/2017. He advised he would give me a free service call of $45.00 for next time if needed. I wanted to know how much to cancel my service since I have a contract till July, 2017 (6 months). He stated I would not get anything back and I would owe them for all the work I have had done. I have a recording of this conversation. I advised him this sounds like such a scam. I paid $400.00 ($399.00) and I am only 6 months into the contract and he said I would not get anything back. I have spoke with some of the technicians and they advised they (the ones I spoke with) will not take calls from them anymore since they do not pay or they hold up payment until they get pictures and if you did not take pictures the technicians are out of the money and time they spent. You have a reasonable expectation from a warranty service ( I have had them in the past and I have NEVER had this kind of NON service.

Select Home Warranty lists in the terms & Conditionsthat a customer can secure their own contractor, we offer this option tocustomers, as some of our technicians can be busy or not have availability.At this time we do not cover leaks of any kind on the refrigeratorand filled our part of the contractual obligation regarding the claim.We did acknowledge the customers concerns for the way theclaims may have been handled and are working on improving some of those issues.Select Home Warranty has reached out to the customer andwould be more than to discuss any matters regarding the claim and techniciansin his area at any time.
