Select Home Warranty issued a refund directly to the customers card on 12/3/2015, the customer has placed a dispute with their credit card company since, we do not owe the customer any additional money.
The customer placed a claim for a leaking water heater. Per section 6.2.7 water heater leaks are not covered. If the customer wishes to cancel we can process a pro rated refund . We will waive the $75 cancellation fee.
The customer has been approved an allowance of $150 on their claim. The customer has been informed that we require 3 years maintenance records in order to consider a larger allowance. The customer advised us yesterday that they do not have any maintenance records on file. Per the diagnosis of the...
technician the unit lacks in maintenance. Therefore, the previous allowance amount will remain at the $150.
As previously stated the customer is not owed a refund. No refund will be processed.

Regards, As of 3/20/15, my Discover card has yet to be credited. It's shameful the Revdex.com had to be involved to get a response I should have had months ago. Thank you Revdex.com. I will keep this file available if no credit is showing by 3/27/15.

We have made numerous attempts to contact the customer via telephone. We have also sent them an email requesting to contact us. Please contact our office and speak with Mr. [redacted] at ###-###-#### Ext:[redacted]
Select Home Warranty has processed the customers refund directly to their card, as per the Terms of Agreement, they should see the credit on 2 -3 business days.
The customer has already been informed that we are only able to offer one of the two options previously provided. We will not be able to make any amendments to either of those options. We are following the customers warranty term and conditions. The customer has been offered $250 towards their claim as a good will or a full refund. Those are the only two options available at this time. Please advise which option you would like so that we may proceed accordingly.

I am rejecting this response because:I sent a copy of a dated email from the company. They know I aked to cancel the policy in May. They are liars. Also, why should I pay for a technician to repair my washer, for the policy to deny fixing it? +

I am rejecting this response because: STILL NOONE AT THIS COMPANY ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR TAKEN OVER TWO MONTHS FOR THE PAYMENT, I BELIEVED THE ONLY REASON WAS SENT IS BECAUSE I CONTACTED THE Revdex.com. NOONE EITHER REVIEW CLAIM TO INCREASE THE PAYOUT AMOUNT. YES I FINALLY RECEIVED THE CHECK BUT OT TOOK NUMEROUS CALLS AND COMPLAINS TO Revdex.com.

I am rejecting this response because:
No one ever updated me on the status of the claim, so I DIDN't agree to forgo the cap of $150. Also my contract was for 1 year plus 2 months. So the refund of the premium was short by $19.99. 2 months of service was all that I received which was amounted to $32 per month. I made a mistake by stating 10 months worth of premium, but the contract clearly states 1 year and 2 months.

Both of the customers claims are currently in progress. The customer has been offered to secure their own technician for both claims to expedite the process. Please confirm if you accept to secure your own technician for both claims so that I may advise of the process.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have clearly stated why you falsely advertise. Your contract is vague and misleading. You do not pay your contractors and you deny legitimate claims. This is an extremely poorly run business which tries to violate your own contract to avoid paying out on claims you should be paying simply by twisting verbage in the contract. We have absolutely wasted $469 on a misrepresented (both on your website and in your vague contract that any half intelligent person would interpret the exact way I have interpreted it) warranty.
