This is a follow up email on the conversation we had this morning about my complaint with 24 Hour Fitness.
I closed this complaint by mistake as I did not realize that accepting this message would result in closing the case. I was not given a phone number to contact 24 Hour Fitness and was not refunded for the disputed amount.

reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action does not fully resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
1. The business DID provide refund of yearly fees not disclosed
2. The business DID provide partial refund of overpaid membership and partial credit towards future membership for those amounts unable to be refunded at the club level
3. The business DID NOT provide notice that an updated policy would protect their members from fraudulent activities as carried out by their employees and representatives. As a result of a 2-year fight with the business and numerous ignored requests from the corporate office including refusal to provide chain-of-command complaint contacts,  I requested:
" That 24 hour would put in place a policy that would inform consumers when an Employee acting on their behalf to set up contracts, is fired for setting up fraudulent accounts so that the issues can be thoroughly addressed in a timely manner."
This particular burden WAS NOT met. This is crucial to fair business practices and consumer protection and rights. This is equally as important as providing remedy for fraudulent billing- to address the emotional duress inflicted by the business in their initial refusal and inadequacy with resolving the complaint in a timely manner, having known that their employee committed fraud. A policy to contact victims of fraud when known, should be the burden of the business and not the victim.

As you can see, by 24 hour's response, they are not offering any resolve. I was explained the conditions of the membership by their assistant manager, [redacted].  Now 24 hour does not want to honor those conditions.Please note that I am not the only 24 hour patron who has filed a complaint with the Revdex.com regarding this situation. Many of us were scammed. Moreover, they ignored me until Revdex.com became involved. Even then 24 hour ignored the Revdex.com, with the Revdex.com having to send them many notifications of non-response. The only way to resolve this issue is for them to honor what I was told, i.e., annual dues of $29 for as long as I remain a member, or they can refund me all the money I have paid them thus far, i.e., $895.They will not do either. They are only willing to do nothing at all.

Then, I was lied over and over about the money being put back in my account, then that a check was going to be sent, then that it will be sent, then that it was sent, etc, etc...  Never received my money or an apology for the horrible and unacceptable treatment I received after 24 years of membership.So, no. It has not been solved.

24 Hour Fitness did attempt to contact me once - they called me on my mobile phone while I was at my sister-in-law's house a few hours after she passed away (I can't make this stuff up). They promised to call me back in a few days and never made a second attempt. The message they sent you asked for me to contact them, but provided no contact information.
I am more than happy to attempt to resolve this with them, but I need to know who to contact and how to contact them.

I was NOT offered access to the Super Sport club in question, that is a flat out lie. I understand what my agreement says, that has never been the problem. My problem is that I was sold the super sport membership by your sales rep and then he had me sign for an all sport. Is 24 hour fitness not liable for what their sales reps say to people. How is a bait and switch OK with your company?
