for following up with me on my complaint. I spoke with [redacted] at the 24 Hour Fitness corporate office today, and she was very nice, but no adjustment will be made to the membership renewal amount. I find their excuses unsatisfactory, and I realize I was at fault to not reading the contract carefully after I was told the renewals would not increase by more than 10% a year. [redacted] said some of the older contracts stated that annual renewals would not increase, but mine was not one of those. I will be dropping my membership, as I don't agree with this policy of large increases on annual renewals. I realize I'm just one member, but I don't think this business model is very ethical.I appreciate the Revdex.com helping me get into contact with the corporate office and thank you for following up with me.[redacted]

term. Please note that this increase was not a decision which we took

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I understand what the message is saying. my credit card company indicates that 24 hour fitness has 60 days from 7-9-16 to respond to them regarding the dispute. until 24 hour fitness responds or the 60 days comes - whichever comes first - this is not settled. [redacted] from 24 hr fitness called me on Tuesday 8-16-16 and this was informed to her. she stated she would talk to the accounting department to communicate with the credit card company. She stated she would call me back by Friday. She has not . I just called the card company and they have not received any response or inquiry from 24 hour fitness. So according to my credit card company, the charge is still pending. either 24 hour fitness must respond to them to clear the issue or after the 60 days it will become permanent. so until either one occurs, I still have an unresolved situation.
Hopefully 24 hr will be true to their word and not rebill again later, but you never know about things anymore. Regards,[redacted]

24 hour fitness did not leave "voice-mails".There reply is a non-answer. The only communication I have received is the following: The Revdex.com send me an email on 8-9-2015 that my complaint had been submitted and apparently 24hour fitness ignored the Revdex.com since the Revdex.com had to contact them again since I then received the following email from the Revdex.com.The Revdex.com then send me another email on 8-25-2015 stating "2nd notice: The Revdex.com made a 2nd attempt to contact the business,". Thus, they ignored them which is not surprising since 24hour corporate number has in the past given me misleading, confusing, and contradictory information so I had NO CHOICE but to contact the Revdex.com for a resolution. Nothing has been resolved.24Hour fitness did not leave "voice-mails."They can simply email me to clarify.Meanwhile my health is suffering because I cannot access the facility that promised to makmake health a priority in their ads.

previously mentioned, we sincerely regret any misunderstanding that may have
occurred to detract from our level of service or our facilities.
Pursuant to your signed
agreement, you purchased a Keep Fit, All Club Sport membership which gives you access to
over 380 club locations nationwide based on your access level. As
referenced in your membership agreement, your membership allows you access to All
Active Clubs, Express Clubs and Sport Clubs which does not include
access to Super Sport and Ultra Sport level clubs. As such, if you wish to access any of our
Super Sport or Ultra Sport locations, you will need to upgrade your membership.
We hope that this brings
some clarification to your concern, as well as the terms of the membership
agreement that you purchased with 24 Hour Fitness. Please note that we did attempt to
work with you towards an amicable resolution so you could access the requested
club location, however we were sorry to hear that you declined our offer.

The response I received by 24 hour fitness indicates that the local club has been unsuccessful in their attempts to contact me, however, this claim is not accurate. I had only received one voicemail on 10/27/15 from [redacted] who claimed to be the new manager at the [redacted] location. I called back on the same day and was advised that he was in a meeting and left my information for him to call me back. I did not receive a callback. I made a second attempt to contact [redacted] the following day and was advised that he was no longer with the company and spoke to the interim manager, [redacted]. On 10/28/15, I briefly summarized my issue with [redacted] and he advised me that he would need to speak with the district manager due to the monetary value of my request. He advised me that he hoped to get back to me by Friday, however, that did not happen. I called again on Monday 11/2/15 to follow-up with [redacted] and was advised that he was in California all week for meetings. I received this email message response on Thursday, 11/5/15, suggesting that I was the one that was unable to be reached. I called again today, 11/9/15 in another attempt to reach [redacted] and get closure for this issue. Once again, he was in a meeting and I left a message to call me back and I have not heard from him yet this evening. Clearly, I am not the difficult one to reach. The constant turnover in management at this location coupled with the unresponsiveness to multiple messages left for callback have caused the delay in resolution, not my inability to return a voicemail.]
