To Whom it May Concern: I do not believe that my case is close because [redacted] has taken my money from my of my account without my consent an expect a full refund of the money ($89.95). I received a notification today June [redacted] that a refund was awarded for $29.95 as a "courtsey". However I do nto see how that it is courtsey when I did not actually authorise the charge, and I have not actually received the money back into my account as yet either. Acording to my Roomster Account I made my initial purchase on April [redacted] for a 3 day trial of $5.95, which is in fact accurate, and I received a receipt showing that purchase. After the 3 day trial I have not used my account, I have several emails from customer service showing my in actiivity, after April [redacted] According to Roomster they state I can cancel my account by checking the cancel subscription and they claim that I cancelled my account as of June [redacted] Which is in fact not true, because when I checked my account on June [redacted] it was already cancelled. because I only signed on to send a complaint to customer service. My back account was debited $29.95 on April [redacted] May [redacted] and June [redacted] and I did not receive a receipt for any of those charges so I was not aware of these charges until June [redacted] I would like a refund of $89.95 form Roomster, as they are taking money without their customers approval. ANy document that I have I have hardcopies of as my account has been deleted and not my end in order to provide soft copy proofs. I will be more than happy to mail in what I have printed. Thank You [redacted]

[redacted], ([redacted]) makes some pretty outlandish assumptions. AS and FYI, Every sign up on Roomster is created by someone using their [redacted] login, so [redacted] must be in on it. We already issued a credit for the last charge as a courtesy. We consider this matter...
closed.
Roomster texts me 10 times in one day telling me to check out her profile. I refused the service, so they flagged my craigslist add. I had to repost. I got them back by,forwarding all their texts to one another.

Ok. I accept he fact that the company got me scam this time by their problematic terms and agreement. However, I have a bad experience throughout the service, specially where the customer service threatened me to not dispute the billing issue or it is going to notify the credit bureaus. This is obviously a set up which the company knows lots of customer would complain about its billing and it threatens people to leave quiet. I have never had a service from a company which automatically debits my account and threatens me to notify the credit bureaus. The company has a long history of scamming its innocent customer. Is there a way to put a stop to this company which holds unethical and dishonesty standards?

customer complaint letter from [redacted]. He canceled his subscription after scheduled renewal took place, even thou he was informed that the subscription can be canceled at any time, even right after the purchase to prevent any future billing. The subscription tab on account page 4. FAQ page To provide a great customer service as a courtesy to her we have issued a pro-rated refund of the last transaction. We consider this matter is closed.
We have reviewed the complaint from [redacted]. Our site is working perfectly. We have discovered that [redacted] has created two accounts on Roomster using two different login credentials. As you can see she created one account in 2010 and the other in 2015 but she logged into...
both account on 3/**/2015 using the same ip address, but with different logins credentials, her account using [redacted] login linked to "[redacted]" is the account that she upgraded using [redacted] she has had full and uninterrupted access to that account. This is a typical case of user error & confusion. Its a shame that the Revdex.com must waste time on things like this, when Jessica Wells could have easily contacted us using our 24/7 support help desk. We could have easily straightened this out for her. Our company should not have this derogatory note on our record and if anything we should get an apology from [redacted]. (we have canceled the subscription and issued a full refund despite this being user NOT company error. please see the two accounts with details and last logins below)[redacted] ([redacted] Login)HaveShare [redacted]

customer service is done via the Helpdesk. When [redacted] contacted us via the Helpdesk we have we sent her all the information about renewal and instructions how to cancel her subscription so she wouldn’t be charged again, but she has never canceled her subscription. Her subscription was canceled by Roomster after her third and final renewal which is consistent with our subscription policy. Had she canceled her subscription all billing would have ended.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[redacted] and [redacted] are two usernames that I have encountered.
[redacted]
Please delete their accounts promptly.
Doing this does not solve the problem though. There are cases in Texas, California, Chicago, and New York in addition to DC. There is not a small amount of postings either in these states. Claims of up to half of all the listings in mentioned areas have been roomster affiliates [1]. Most of my inquires in DC have been to roomster affiliates.
Regarding the blame of affiliate actions, you take on that responsibility when you accept them as an affiliate. Simply stating that this is not your responsibility because it is your affiliates actions, not your own, and that you gave them a warning not to do it is incorrect. Your affiliates are an extension of your product and brand.
Due to there being massive amounts of very detailed postings that are almost impossible to determine as fake on [redacted] locations across the United States, you are obviously not doing a good enough job enforcing your affiliate program's rules.
A solution to this would be to 1) adopt and enforce a preventative policy against [redacted] posting rather than the current, ineffective, reactive one and 2) clean up the existing roomster postings that are currently on [redacted]

I really don't see how [redacted] is the best security solution. I appreciate the credit of $1.37 in response to my complaint, but I was not even contesting the charge. My problem is that for months I was searching for a room and the majority of what I had to wade through in my search was roomster scams. If your site truly is so plagued by mysterious [redacted] scammers, it may be time to shut down this domain and migrate to one that is NOT full of security holes. Literally I have not had a single shred of success with roomster, on or off site. And if you really are doing your best to improve security, and you aren't a total scam - why are there SO MANY phony proxy websites that redirect to your website? [redacted] etc etc... What's more - both of the aforementioned sites link to your supposedly new and secure [redacted] login page. and guess what, when I [redacted] both of these site - EVERY SINGLE LINK is just a link to a scam checking website/blog. Not a single one comes up as a legitimate, or a subsidy of roomster corp. And what's more - roomster itself. Your whole Revdex.com page is just complaints about your business.
My goal here is not to earn a dollar off your corporation. I simply want to put on record an illegitimate business practice; so that other people don't have to waste so much of their valuable time on a site that will get them nothing but frustration.
