What a horrible company this is!! I signed up for Auto-pay for my convenience and it has been the worse decision. I have done Auto-pay with Navient for over 5 years now, the one time I ask them to change my payment date they say no because I have late payments, exhausted deferments and forbearance. Please keep in mind that I have auto-pay, so there is no way that I have ever had any late payments, neither have I had deferments or forbearance because I don't qualify. This company is one of the biggest scammers out there, I feel like my checking account is being held hostage to the point that I want to close my account. I am considering ending Auto-pay, but I am sure they will give me problems.

Proper credits not being applied. Received a phone call from Navient on 10/23, whom stated, I haven't made a single payment in over 160 days. This is incorrect. Check payments are not being applied to my account.
I have also mailed 3 certified letters, but nothing is ever done. My account is being neglected and mismanaged.
I have made online payments in the past, but had identity theft problems. Changed to check only payments.
Certified letters sent in regards to concerns about the credits for my accounts. Track confirmation at usps.com.

Over the past 2 years, Navient has repeated changed their stance, not notified me (within federal notifications guidelines) and continue to bring up separate issues. Below is an outline of the multiple issues provided by Navient over the last years as they have blemished my credit report and have refused to fix it: - claimed they had no record of my account - would not advise me on my account because they were not authorized - requested me to provide proof of payment of my student loans, despite having access my account records - claimed they had no record of my payments because my account was sold to Citi - further claimed they had no record of my payments because Citi resold my account to Discover - after I reconciled my own payment history (fully on time and paid in full) with Discover and provided the data to Navient, Navient still said the account was delinquent - I submitted a case to the Revdex.com and was immediately contacted by a Navient agent - Navient then advised that my account was delinquent for a separate loan totaling $600 and subsequently written off - My credit report only shows the student loan account with Navient (Sallie Mae at the time) which was paid in full as supported by documentation from Discover - There is no loan on my credit report for $600 with Navient

Last week Navient has called me twice last and left a voicemail when I was at work.  Both times I called back during business hours but there was no answer and I left a return voicemail. I have not received any further contact from Navient.  This email states they are sending me a letter to be mailed out today.  So I will have to wait and see what it says since they apparently aren't capable of using a telephone to return my calls.  I am stating that I reject their response only since there is a 5 day window or I "automatically" approve of their response.  The chance that I actually receive a mailed letter from them within the next 5 days with a positive message in response to my complaint is unrealistic since its Christmas week and mail will be moving slow. I will readdress this once a letter is received and decide at that point whether to accept or decline based on the letter I receive.

 I have been in contact with Navient about this debt numerous of time and they never sent me a copy of the original signed promissory note.  The company has had more than enough time to get this correspondence to me in a manner.  I have had to consult The Revdex.com to exercise my rights as a consumer to get this wrongly report information removed because they have not validate the debt which has been asked of them to do since August of 2016.

Problem:
Due to my illness, I hve not been able to respond to Navient until now . I only stopped paying when I became ill My mom and my attorney attempted to work out an agreement with 3 different employees; [redacted]. Each time a so-called agerement was reached they provided loan nos we had never seen before Everything was bogus. One time only. they responded to my lawyer but refused to use the agreed upon language. We constanttly requested a list of the original loan numbers, dates, amounts. Nothing in writing was ever received attempting to establish an attainable repayment amount.
