Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I feel like an antiquated law from 1965, and it's amendments since, are hurting my generation of educated hard-working Americans. Assuming I'll be paying what I can on my 30 year loan, most of which will be interest payments by the time that 30-year term passes, I think I shouldn't have gone to college in this country afterall. I guess my problem is not with Navient, they're doing what is well within their legal rights, I guess. My problem is with our government making it harder for people to pursue the happiness they've come to expect.
Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  They sent me a copy of my master promissory note and basically told me that I was already being helped because I was in a rate reduction program. This program lowers the interest rate on the loan and you pay interest only payments. I've been making interest only payments that DO NOT help me pay off my loan. All this program does is pad the pockets of Navient while those who are actually trying to pay their loan(s) off STAY in debt.

The company has sent the exact same letter they originally sent, from the exact same person.  They claim that since I have a good credit report I can make the payment.  My ability to pay should be based on my income and not on my credit report.  Also, they are still electronically taking the payment from my account - the payment that I can afford, but they said I do not qualify for.  And they are still marking my account as past due and said they will send it to collections.  They read from que cards when I call to talk to them, they don't listen or try to help.

Contrary to what Navient has stated as of today, I still have not received any correspondence from them. I also checked my account on their website today and it still does not show any payments received or posted.

I'm not satisfied with the response as it doesn't solve the problem. They continue not to provide reasons why after years of payments my loan amount is not going down. Do I need to take this to a higher level?Regards,

Considering a loan institution would allow someone to fraudulently obtain a loan in my name and also refuse to remove my name from that loan, even when told about the fraud. I can not accept any resolution that does not result with my name being removed from a fraudulent loan.

Problem:
On January 2, 2015, I filed a complained with Revdex.com concerning Navient because I was alerted that they had reported a negative line item on my credit report. The reporting was in reference to one of my loans that was showing past due because of an incorrect interest rate amount that was higher than it should have been. Because this issue was never corrected, my account would report as being past due even though it was not. After filing my complaint, I was contacted by a Customer Advocate named [redacted] Ms. [redacted] assured me that the interest rate would be corrected and that the negative line items would be reported as incorrect. The interest rate issue was corrected by Navient. However, a week later, I received a letter from Ms. [redacted] stating that she could not find any evidence that Navient had reported my loan to any of the credit bureaus. I explained to Ms. [redacted] that I had a copy of my credit report from Experian, and that it showed that Navient had report my loan being six months past due on 12-26-2014. She told me to send her a copy of the credit report, but if they could not find any record of having reported the line item, that they would not be sending a letter to any of the agencies. I mailed a copy of the credit report, and I have not heard from Ms. [redacted] since. It is not my responsibility to draft a letter to each of the credit bureaus when obviously, Navient made the false reporting. The copy of my credit report should be all the evidence that they need to prove that they made the negative report.

I need for Navient to send a letter to each credit bureau explaining that this reporting was made in error. Navient had no problem with drafting a letter telling me that they could not find any record of them having reported anything to the credit bureaus, so they shouldn't have any issues with drafting a letter to Trans Union, Experian, and Equifax to the same effect. I, as the consumer, should not have to clean up their mess after I brought the mistake to their attention.

Dear Delaware Revdex.com Representative, I marked the complaint resolved (see attached history) with Navient but they failed to follow through.  I settled my school loan for #3,725.21 (see record blow cut & pasted from bank record).  EBS is Navient's recovery company. Navient has my loan listed as making one big payment and owing the balance instead of a settlement payoff. As you can see this transaction was made 12/23.  The company said they would send a confirmation: I asked them to send it both email and USPS.    I was told they sent it by email on 12/29 but I have no such record in any of my emails including deleted, folders etc.  I never received anything by USPS and was told later that they do not send letters by USPS (which is another lie).  Resolution is for Navient to immediately acknowledge settlement payoff by email and USPS and reflect payoff in all 3 credit bureau records and Navient's online site. Thanks,[redacted]

Please note that I will be out of the country until April 25 and will not be able to response to any communications until I return.  Please note that the "loan contract documentation" send by Navient to me is not a US Department of Education loan agreement, doesn't have terms of the loan and lacks even the amount borrowed or a valid signature of a debtor.  Just more phony information. In Navient's response they fail to address the fact that they tricked me into voluntarily putting the loans into default only so that they could add additional "collection costs".  Navient told me at that time that the only way I could get actual loan documents was to put the loans into default and have them sent to the US Department of Education Default Resolution Group.  This I did only to have Navient hide the loans from me for 5 months telling me my son's account was closed and they could no longer talk with me about his loans. Now Navient is saying that the only way to have the loans transferred to the US Department of Education is to do a loan consolidation which makes all of their illicit "collection costs" part of the principal.  Clearly why they tricked me into the default in the first place. Navient did send me one document that seems to have been signed by [redacted].  The document states the he agrees to pay up to 18% of the loan for any incurred collection costs.  Two days ago Navient admitted that although they have charged more than $40K in "collection costs" that they haven't actually incurred any "collect costs" and in effect these charges are only additional profit.  The Navient account manager that I spoke with told me that "costs and profits are all the same to me".  The conversation was recorded. I so appreciate everything that you can do to help us.  IT is likely that we will eventually have to go to court because we've been fighting this for more than four years and it's all been like this, deception and lies.   [redacted]  [redacted]

Regards,I did speak with someone over the phone and they asked me if they could remove this from the website. I agreed only as long as this is settled.

Navient has intentionally incorrectly applied my loan payment to the incorrect loan, as loan one is my sisters and loan two through four are my own. I have explicitly asked them every time I call to apply my debit card payment to only loans two through four. They then apply my payment to all loans, creating a past due balance on my account. This has happened 7 months in a row. Additionally, they will send payment confirmation e-mail's to my personal e-mail some months, but say it's a violation of privacy other's. Either way, they have either sent me sensitive information wrongly or they are intentionally trying to make it so I do not know which loan's my payment has been applied to. This is a parent-plus loan under my Mother's name.
