BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I purchased a jacket that was incorrectly measured by sellerI could not return it and no refund Customer service is only in Poshmark’s favor Apparently Poshmark or seller have no responsibility for making this right If transaction goes well, fine, if there is a problem, you are out of luck

Back in I was a brand new customer to poshmarkAt the time of making my account, I went through all the terms and conditions as well as the FAQS on the business"Our Posh Protect policy does not cover trades within the systemWhen payment for the full value of items is not exchanged through the Poshmark system, we cannot guarantee that both parties will ship their items to each other as promised or as describedTrading is based on an honor system and is difficult for us to supportFor this reason, we discourage users from trading on Poshmark so that we can provide users with the protection that they deserve."
As a very analytical and critical thinker, I saw that that description of trading did not at all mention it was not ALLOWED to tradeIt simply says discourageSo, I went along and I began to tradeAfter I was restricted from my account I accepted the fact that I was wrong and would be punished for tradingThey withdrew the balance I owed from my card without notification(they do not let you delete your card info off of poshmark)
I attempted to reach out to them to let them know that I accepted my mistake and hoped we could resolve the issue and move onAfter waiting about weeks with no response, I tried to reach out again while re-explaining the issue at handAgain, no response I decided to give up poshmark and just move on to something elseEventually I attempted to log back onto my old account and I was still restrictedSo, I decided to create a new account and just stay clean on it and only buy and sell itemsAfter about a week of reuniting with poshmark, I logged on one day to find my account was restricted once againVery confused and frustrated I tried to reach out through email and phone(they do not do customer service over the phone, only allow voicemails with usually no call back) I still do not understand why I was restricted on my second account because I did nothing wrongI once again gave up on poshmark and deleted the appAbout a year later I decided to try again! Created ANOTHER account under my middle name instead of my first and just before I could buy the clothes I was planning to, once again, RESTRICTED with no explanationThis time around, very angry and annoyed I send them an angry email demanding a reason for being restrictedI got a response saying, Hi there,
Thank you for your responseWe do see that you have multiple usernamesWe ask all users to only use one account for PoshmarkWhen an account has been restricted, we send an email and ask that you reach out to us in order to see why your account was restricted and how you can have it reinstalledUnfortunately, you have created new accounts instead
Can you please let us know which is your current account so that we can further look into this issue?

Very relieved after FINALLY being responded to, I abandoned my anger and frustration and responded back explaining the whole situation and apologized for my earlier tradings and explained how I knew it was wrong and also made it clear that I simply did not see anywhere or understand the rule of "one account." I do not feel I should be blamed for making multiple accounts because I was not being helped with the information I needed to knowEverytime, excpet the last, I was being ignored or simply not readAfter sending my email explaining the whole deal, a couple days later I received an email saying, "Thank you for your responseAt this time, we have fully reinstated your account, @*** Please let us know if you have any further questions
Thank you."
I typed as much as I have typed now on this complaint and only received a one sentenced response that had nothing to do with anything I asked, nor told me anything I don't knowI was not giving attitude in the earlier message, I was simply giving remorse and asking questions but the person who quote on quote "helped" me decided to actually do nothing towards steps of actually helping me or my situation or providing any sort of type of solutionI feel as a long time customer and strong supporter of poshmark the issue should be able to be resolved
I don't know what else to say, I am just very disappointed and frustrated with the very very poor customer service and care being provided, or more likley not provided

I am a buyer on Poshmark and have had wonderful transactions for about three years now, that is until I started purchasing bathing suitsOut of four, two had problems and I filed Not as Described cases on bothAccording to Poshmark I did not file a Case on the first one, that's their story and they are sticking to itI DID file the case within the hour frame and uploaded a photo as requiredI then contacted the company the next day to see why I did not receive an acknowledgmentNo answerI contacted them again, no answerI then added a message to a message they sent me regarding a different suit and while they addressed the second suit, no response to my inquiry on the firstI then started sending email every two days, and would get an answer that didn't address the situationThis went on and on for almost two weeks at which point I contacted my credit card companyTheir responses told me they didn't fully read or understand my email after repeating myself over & over again (example; I explained that the suit's leg hole elastic was old and stretched out making the legs large and the suit unwearable and they responded that I could not return the suit due to fit)Scream! Then another rep joined the fray and stated they would "allow" me to return the suit on my dimeI explained that I had already contacted my credit card company and the dispute was filedTwo emails later from them and they are giving me terms if I don't file a dispute, despite my having already said the dispute was done and found in my favor (I sent my CC company a transcript of all the emails)Bottom line? In many cases they ignore communications, in others they either purposely or through lack of comprehension misunderstand said communications and their canned responses are maddeningAlthough most sellers are generally nice their customer service team is severely lacking, which does not foster repeat business and ultimately hurts the sellers (not so much THIS buyer as there are plenty of other venues to purchase clothing both online and off)

I received a package from a seller than had a dead bug in itIt took me many hours of stress to determine if it was a bed bug (we have confirmed from several sources that it is not but I am remaining vigilant) and I had to pretreat my apartment, quarantine the item and everything it touched and spend hours researching and contacting exterminatorsIt took over hours for Poshmark to connect me to the seller and they never apologized or took ownership of the issueBecause of their delay, I had to keep this disgusting item (a pair of designer sunglasses, dirty and infested) triple bagged in my home and I don't know the status on the acceptance of my returnI suggest you STAY AWAYShop local or try *** for consignment

I used to sell a lot on the Poshmark app, I had also been a buyer for some items as wellI really enjoyed the whole Poshmark platform, for both buying & sellingI had kept my personal seller closet compliant; making sure I was not selling items against their policyThat was until I decided since everyone else was literally going un-compliant and Poshmark wasn't removing those items or closets (they had strict rules/guidelines when they first developed the site/app for items allowed to sell) where now people were selling very obvious replica bags and various items of top designers, men's clothing, children's clothing, and even cars and bathtubsIt got extremely frustrating to sell items as well once they raised the shipping rate, and buyers would make "offers" on items worth money for half or less than half what the seller listed for, which is already obviously discountedIt's frustrating as a seller when you know for fact other sellers are experiencing the same thing on the ap

Really bad online shopping serviceItems are constantly being misrepresented and people are being lured into buying something but it turns out that is not exactly how the item was describedPoshmark has really a horrible Customer serviceIt almost looks like some really bad AI softwareEven when you present concrete arguments with pictures and everything they slam you and they do not want to deal with itbasically no way getting your money back even if you are 100% right

On 9/17/I purchased a Louis Vuitton Iena It was listed in good used condition for $Poshmark states that anything over $is considered a luxury item and is sent to their experts first to authenticate before they ship it to customersThen once they authenticate it they ship it and when the customer receives it they have days to accept or declineOnce they accept then Poshmark will release the funds to the sellerI received the purse on 9/25/and immediately noticed that the purse was peeling and the monograms were rubbing off on one side So I contacted customer service via email and notified themI received an automated email in return saying someone will get back with meAs of today I still have never received a response from an actual person from this company and I have emailed them over and over concerning thisI just want to return this purse and get a refundI have sent them pictures showing the peeling and can’t not even imagine that this purse is authentic

Ok so a girl scammed me into trading her outfit for my outfit , but she never sent her end of trade, lied to Poshmark and said it wasn't as described and had several holes and stainswhen in fact IT DID NOT! She claimed to have had mailed it back to me but never did and now she had posted for sale while under federal investigation! Poshmark allegedly told her to KEEP my items ! I was sending several emails on how much I wanted it back ! I am by no means rich , and having kids adds even more financial stress ! Then I have Poshmark GIVING away my belongings! They refuse to get involved b/c they don't condone trades but yet they got involved enough to say keep her outfit! She is being investigated by the federal post master general police or what ever he is called! Posh aided her in this mail fraud! How can that be legal!

I tried Poshmark for the first and last timeI had no communication from the seller at allI made my purchase on July 19th and cancelled on July 30thI tried several times to contact the seller with no luckI contacted Customer Service and they assured me that they sent a message to the seller and to give her a few days as she may be on vacationI was fine with that but again, after days, still no contact at allI felt like I threw my money awayI've requested a refund and will not use this site again based on my experience and feeling like this was a sham to begin withI purchase frequently online and I'm familiar with several sites, this has been the worst one
