I bought a shirt over a year ago on PoshmarkOver a year later, out of the blue, I see they took $out of my Paypal account, which came out of my bank account the same day Not only was it unauthorized but I made no purchases!! This happened on 12/10/I didn't see if until 12/13/18, when it caused my bank account to overdraftI see they also had a reoccurring charge set up for the same amount?! I did request that the reverse charge go back into my bank account but paypal takes 3-business days to put it in your bankI I tried to call Poshmark but contacted Paypal who removed the reoccurring paymentThere is no way to call Poshmark, it's all emailsI now have no money until Paypal returns it to my bank in 3-business days
*** have to admit that I have no one to blame but myself - I should've read the reviews first, so my loss would've been preventedBut for those who can benefit for prior knowledge of the apparently common scheme running on Poshmark - here goesI sold a dress to *** for (as per her own admission) an upcoming weddingThe dress was identified by the manufacturer (Badgley Mischka) as "Red Gown with Shawl", although the actual color was with a fuchsia tint, which the pictures on my site were clearly shownI shipped this dress the same day I've accepted the offer, in the original garment bags for both the dress and the shawl, using a large USPS envelope to prevent wrinklesTwo days later the buyer opened the case regarding this sale claiming "the color was not as described" (I had pictures posted, in different light, mind you) The case was approved shortly, but it took the buyer almost ten more days (and probably the weekend for this wedding) to ship the dress backWhen I got it, I was really shocked – it was shipped shoved in the medium size envelope, with no garment bags or hanger (I don’t understand why the buyer took the shawl out the zipped bag if the color of the dress is “not as described”)In addition, the dress was stained, and the boning structure of the corset was bent and twistedI contacted the customer service, but – as people on previous reviews mentioned – they brushed me off with the “can’t confirm the original state of the item shipped” bs and quite insulting $credit to my accountI am writing to the CEO of Poshmark, but have no hope of my situation, meaning falling a victim of the common Poshmark scheme being resolvedI only hope that people who are reading this review would think twice before using Poshmark
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I supported photos to show the broken belt loop and distress to the denim in the listingI also stated in the listing that there was distress and to view the photos to see this distressI am only able to upload four of these documents to support my case but there are moreClearly you can see the broken belt loop and the distress in the photos as well as my original listingI also requested a supervisor call me from Poshmark and no one has callledI have a negative mark on my account for this return that needs removed and the item was altered from what was sent originallyI am owed I sold it for.Sincerely,David ***

I purchased a dress on Poshmark.com, and the item was not as describedThe website offers used clothing and describes the conditionThe dress I purchased was altered (hemmed shorter than original), had tears and had stainsNone of this was described in the description, and the picture used to advertise the dress was a stock photo from the original merchant, and not the actual dress being soldThe description explicity stated "not altered"I tried to contact Poshmark.com on several different occasions and they did not respond to phone calls or emailsThe refund policy on the website states that items are eligible for refund if a claim is submitted within days of receipt of purchaseAlso, items are eligible for refund if: (i) seller has not described the listed product truthfully, or (ii) product is damaged and not advertisedI believe I was misled, and the seller falsely advertised the product I purchased

I sold a necklace in excellent condition, order *** it was a Chanel necklace for $The listing I offered showed my item and the condition of it when sold and sent to buyerThe buyer stated there being a chip directly in the center of the logo which is dead center of the necklacePoshmark opened an investigation allowed the buyer to submit photos of a damaged item which she most likely damaged herself - since there was absolutely ZERO damage to the item upon my sending it outI wrote my remarks, she wrote hers and ultimately Poshmark is allowing the buyer to send me an item worth nothing with the damage this person caused to my itemI have not seen the buyers pictures but I do not need to - I know how I mailed the item to herPoshmark states they protect their sellers - they are doing nothing to fairly handle the situationThey simply said due to the Knick on the necklace the buyer has been approved to return the itemPoshmark has did nothing to rectify th
I made a bundle purchase of two items on Oct *** ***) Then AFTER the purchase, seller let me know she did not have one of the two items in her possessionShe asked if I would like her to ship the in-stock item first then she would ship the other item later as it came in, or if I could wait until she could ship both items togetherI told her I could wait and to please ship them together in one packageAfter the package was delivered, I saw she had still shipped only one itemI contacted her, and she said she still didn't have the second item and that she didn't want me to wait(My guess is she didn't want the purchase to be automatically cancelled due to delayed shipping)Mind you, she did NOT tell me she would only send one of the items firstThis, she did on her ownHowever, I tried to be nice and agreed to wait another week (which is when she said she'd ship the second item) in good faith, as I have bought from her before and she was a very active
I purchased a sweater on June 23, When I received it I immediately had to open up a return request because the sweater that I receive was not as described and had been shrunkOn June 29, I received a response saying that my request ad been denied because it did not qualify for a returnThere was no explanation as to why, but only that I had been given a $posh creditI then contacted posh support via email and explained what had happenedThey responded and said that they do not support returns based on fit related issues and they suggested I request measurements from the seller in the future prior to buyingAccording to poshmark's return policy a buyer may return an item if they receive it not as described within the listingNowhere in this listing did it mention that the sweater had been laundered incorrectly and had been shrunkThis is not a fit issue at all, it is simply not as describedI let them know this, but they have since ignored me and have chosen instead not
WARNING: NO ONE should EVER shop here! Worst customer service everI bought an item that read it was an adult SmallWhen I received it, it was apparent that the seller was selling it because they had shrunk the item to a size not even a toddler could fit inWhen I went to file a claim, Poshmark denied it and had the audacity to call me “desperate.” WHAT??? *** **Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt withSo unhelpful and RUDE!!!
I have been selling on PoshMark for a few weeks nowThere is zero seller protection! One buyer filed a claim as “not described” for a vintage belt that she had me measure and photograph for her multiple timesAs she even remarked in comments “I’m so sad it doesn’t fit” yet she opens a review case for an item not as described...and Poshmark sides with herYet...she resells the belt before shipping it back to me for MORE than she paid using my exact picturesSo my “not as described item” nets her more money and I get a “black mark” warning on my seller statsRidiculous! Today, I get another case in review for a pair of Chanel sunglasses sold to a buyer who must have scratched them on purpose because she had buyer remorse...my listing photos show unblemished lensThere is zero protection from unscrupulous buyers looking for cheap buys who then change their mindsSo discouraging to honest sellers who pack and ship promptly, who then have to put up with this nonsense
Sellers beware-- customers that deem an item "fake" can return it no questions askedI sold a Kate Spade bag and the buyer complained to Poshmark claiming it was a fake, even though she had absolutely no proof and this was based on her opinionI bought it in-person from a KS store and even WORKED for that store a few years laterBut Poshmark sided with the customer and I was forced to refund the customer and take the bag backPoshmark should have a dedicated person or department to review claims of counterfeit items and have a professional make that decisionFor all I know, she could have used it that weekend and did not need it anymore
I bought a polo bag from them as a gift to my daughterOne of the staff members Alyssa sent me a highly inflammatory message stating that they don't do returns I guess for money when I didn't even askMy issue was it was just to small & mind you I just received it the night I messaged the company
