This company is a joke! I have been with them since they started the siteThere customer service is horrible "nonexistent" you wait to weeks before you have money in your actual bank account from a transactionThey do not delete comments, even when someone accidentally copies and paste personal information into a comment (possible lawsuit there) There are no replies to emails anymoreThey take 20% of your sale! THAT IS CRAZY!! They only side with a buyer which posh is full of scam artist now, I had a $swimsuit DESTROYED by a buyer all because Posh does not offer returns, unless the item is damaged or not as described! Overall I would stay away from his site! I am leaving and opening up my own shop where I am in control of customer service, and my money!

Hope this review helps the business rectify their mistakes and grow to run better business I submitted an offer on an item I was interested in buying a couple weeks ago Seller counter offered, and I accepted, finalizing my order Next day, I found that this seller created another posting of the same item overnight and sold it to someone else who bid $higher I reached out to Poshmark to report this seller as this is a fraud activity and any purchases should be honored once an offer is selected and confirmed Poshmark got back to me pretty much saying that they have no control over their sellers and cannot do anything about sellers changing their minds or performing such fraud activities As a buyer's perspective, this is a big trust issue towards the business because buyers submit their offers based on the belief that the purchase will be guaranteed once their offers are selected and confirmed It is very unfortunate that Poshmark cannot moderate sellers' activities like this, and buyers always have to doubt the business' trustworthiness

I've used Poshmark for many years and really enjoyed my experience at first because sometimes you really do get great deals on items that are old season and not sold in stores anymore and are new things to add to your closetHowever my issues started when I became a seller instead of a buyerThat's when problems and issues started occurringThe first incident involved when I was selling a pair of bootsI did mention it had been previously worn, but was still wearable for future uses and had photographic evidence before it was shipped out of it and evidence of several people who did help me ship out the boots that they don't recall something ever being wrong with itHowever the customer ended up returning on grounds that "it was not as described" and sent in evidence that there were stains and the heel was brokenI sent in photograph proof that there was no way the heel was broken before and I had two people who remembered seeing it in fine shapeThere was another incident where I was selling a backpack and described it as having been worn many times which pictures includedSomeone bought it but ended up arguing on claims of stains which they zoomed in on this tiny barely noticeable stain that only would be seen if you were really really looking for somethingHowever in both instances Poshmark sided with the customersSo be wary that sometimes customers can purposely damage your goods to hopefully get their money back and file it under as "damaged item" or purposely try to find any small reason to get their money backIt's just so irritating for sellers because it takes time out of our schedules to ship things out and prepare the packages just to have it sent backIt was a really aggravating experience to say the least because the only way to contact customer service is through email and it took absolutely forever to ever get a response backI had to email about three times before someone finally replied and she barely answered my questions and concernsI find that happening frequently when you email them for any customer supportMaybe they should work on a better system on that? I don't knowNext incidents involve sometimes having buyers really talk down on you rudelyThere was an incident where I had a buyer purchase a mystery box of random things for only ten dollars that would include variety of things that I was looking to size down my wardrobe and belongings including items from top brandsI included a note in there that was handwritten with a list of all the things she would be gettingI handpicked all of these items that I spent in total well over dollarsitems that probably costed more than dollars original priceI wrapped it very nicely and yet she claimed she never received one of the items and was quite rude about it.Then following incidents involved when I was on vacation (out of the country) and several people ended up purchasing itemsI barely had wifi connection and yet I still told them I was out of town but will ship immediately when I got backThey all said it alright and yet in the end a good portion of them ended up being impatient and canceling the order resulting in strikes against my accountIt's absolutely aggravating and my account was suspended due to "unshipped items" It seems even when you're in contact with buyers, you really do get duped as shippersFurthermore poshmark really does a HUGE percentage off of your earnings that it's really not even worth it sometimesAnd for buyers the disadvantage is the ridiculous cost of shippingI remembered when it was around dollars maybe and it seems like they slowly keep increasing the shipping costsOverall, I really do think you're better off being a buyer on this app (if you can handle the outrageous shipping)Anyone who wants to be a seller on this app should be wary of the buyers, poshmark being very biased towards buyers instead of sellers, poor customer service, and the large percentage they take off of your earningsThere really are better buy/sell apps out there

Had a bad experience on poshmark where a buyer was verbally abusive on a “case open”and the site didn’t do anything or respond to my email correspondence regarding the matterI am a female and the male buyer was very aggressive on the site to the point I’m nervousNever using this site againIt’s unaccepatable to be verbally abused anywhere and as the middle man, they should have intervened

I have sold three pairs of boots recently through PoshmarkI have requested the funds to be deposited into my accountsOne to my checking account and two into my savings accountTwo of the transactions stated that the deposit has been completed and the other one is still pendingTwo of the withdrawals have been well over days, but Poshmark keeps emailing me to tell me to wait "days" for the depositEvery time I email Poshmark to ask about it or see if there is an error in the account/routing number they keep telling me to go back and check if there is an error (no option in account tab) or wait the the "days"Today I received another email from "***" with this response: "Thanks for your email and we apologize for any inconvenienceUnfortunately, because your deposit is already processing (it is all done via software), we are no longer able to edit or cancel your requestIf your account information is invalid, you should be receiving an automated email within business

I was away when item delivered I opened package it was stained The picture in ad hid the stain with the strap this was the company wouldn’t allow me to exchange and wouldn’t work with me even tho they knew the item was not as described and damaged this is unethical on part of company and buyer I spent dollars and the system wouldn’t allow me support or help

As a very analytical and critical thinker, I saw that that description of trading did not at all mention it was not ALLOWED to tradeIt simply says discourageSo, I went along and I began to tradeAfter I was restricted from my account I accepted the fact that I was wrong and would be punished for tradingThey withdrew the balance I owed from my card without notification(they do not let you delete your card info off of poshmark)
I attempted to reach out to them to let them know that I accepted my mistake and hoped we could resolve the issue and move onAfter waiting about weeks with no response, I tried to reach out again while re-explaining the issue at handAgain, no response I decided to give up poshmark and just move on to something elseEventually I attempted to log back onto my old account and I was still restrictedSo, I decided to create a new account and just stay clean on it and only buy and sell itemsAfter about a week of reuniting with poshmark, I logged on one day to find my account was restricted once againVery confused and frustrated I tried to reach out through email and phone(they do not do customer service over the phone, only allow voicemails with usually no call back) I still do not understand why I was restricted on my second account because I did nothing wrongI once again gave up on poshmark and deleted the appAbout a year later I decided to try again! Created ANOTHER account under my middle name instead of my first and just before I could buy the clothes I was planning to, once again, RESTRICTED with no explanationThis time around, very angry and annoyed I send them an angry email demanding a reason for being restrictedI got a response saying, Hi there,
Thank you for your responseWe do see that you have multiple usernamesWe ask all users to only use one account for PoshmarkWhen an account has been restricted, we send an email and ask that you reach out to us in order to see why your account was restricted and how you can have it reinstalledUnfortunately, you have created new accounts instead

Very relieved after FINALLY being responded to, I abandoned my anger and frustration and responded back explaining the whole situation and apologized for my earlier tradings and explained how I knew it was wrong and also made it clear that I simply did not see anywhere or understand the rule of "one account." I do not feel I should be blamed for making multiple accounts because I was not being helped with the information I needed to knowEverytime, excpet the last, I was being ignored or simply not readAfter sending my email explaining the whole deal, a couple days later I received an email saying, "Thank you for your responseAt this time, we have fully reinstated your account, @*** Please let us know if you have any further questions

I typed as much as I have typed now on this complaint and only received a one sentenced response that had nothing to do with anything I asked, nor told me anything I don't knowI was not giving attitude in the earlier message, I was simply giving remorse and asking questions but the person who quote on quote "helped" me decided to actually do nothing towards steps of actually helping me or my situation or providing any sort of type of solutionI feel as a long time customer and strong supporter of poshmark the issue should be able to be resolved
I don't know what else to say, I am just very disappointed and frustrated with the very very poor customer service and care being provided, or more likley not provided

I purchased a dress to replace the exact same dress I already ownI was replacing the dress because the material shrunk and changed when I washed it improperlyThe dress was advertised as never worn by the sellerWhen I received the dress, I filed a request for a return the same day stating that this dress has clearly been washed because the fabric was exactly the same as the ruined washed dress I already ownedMy request was denied because “it is a fit issue” and my credit card was chargedI replied to the email, but it shows case closed on my accountI then realized that there is no other way to contact Poshmark, nor is there any way to let other shoppers know about my experience
