Re: Loan #[redacted] - Property Address:
Having readyour September 14, 2015 letter wherein your solution is contrary to the efforts we've been led to believe would provide relief, we find PNC's offer ridiculous, ill informed, baseless, callous, uncaring, without merit and stupid.
Just a few examples to support the idiocy in PNC's decision making:
1. You letter indicates areason for declining to assist is based in part because the home is not
owner occupied: BUTPNCKNEW THIS IN FEBRUARY WHEN ICALLED SEEKING HELP
2. The Making Home Affordable Program is not allowed because the proposed P&I portion of the
proposed modified monthly mortgage payment is greater than or equal to the P&l portion of the current monthly mortgage payment: BUTPNC KNEW THIS IN FEBRUARY WHEN I CALLED SEEKING HELP
3. Your letter reflects our Monthly Gross Income as $11,334.03 which is false: we do not know how
PNCarrived at this figure as it was not provided by us 4. Your letter reflects our total monthly obligations as $2,501.32 which is false: we do not know how PNCarrived at this figure as it was not provided by us
Based on the above and many more examples of PNC's inability to rationalize a common resolve for the benefit of all parties, we respectfully decline PNC's repayment plan.
Please inform us of alternative solutions.Desired Settlement: Unspecified

Revdex.com 400 Holiday Drive #220 Pittsburg PA 15220RE; Complaint ID # [redacted]Dear Revdex.com -In response to your letter to us dated October 26 2015 and the resolution we are seeking: In February 2015 we contacted PNC in regards to a mortgage which PNC is the lienholder and advised PNC that due to [redacted] 2-year unemployment, we sought assistance from PNC in making mortgage payments. After seven (7) months of providing PNC the same information multiple times, PNC advised they are unable to provide assistance due to two (2) conditions that PNC was aware of in February 2015:1. The property is non-owner-occupied (this was established in February 2015 and repeated many times)2. There is inadequate Loan-to-value (LTV), i.e., the home's market value -vs- mortgage balance (yet, consider that PNC is willing to escalate the matter into foreclosure at the current LTV, at the prevailing interest rate which, if lowered, allows for payment to resume)PNC was fully aware of these two situations in February 2015 yet continued to delay, request the same information repeatedly, harass (multiple collection calls in a 24-hur period), threaten and demonstrate an unwillingness to intelligently discuss or arrive at an arrangement beneficial for all parties. The resolutions I am seeking:1. Explain how/why it took seven (7) months to arrive at conclusion to deny assistance based on reasons that PNC was fully aware of in February 20152. Explain why a simple reduction in the interest rate is not a reasonable solution that would benefit all parties involved (lender, owner, and tenant).3. Explain themselves in simple, easy-to-understand, layman's English.Respectfully,[redacted] Federal Reserve Consumer Help PO Box 1200 Minneapolis, MN 55480 Revdex.com of Dayton / Miami Valley 15 W. Review: Recently I disputed a [redacted] charge that I felt was made fruaduently cause I do not recall making the rental purchase for the items [redacted] says I have, so the charge caused me to go into overdraft as it was unexpected, Pnc did a great job providing an provisional credit and correcting another issue, and was told it could take up to 90 days to do an investigation so I was like ok thinking that'll the issue would be resolved cause I knew I did make the purchase for what the charges were for. On 4/26/2016 I went to my branch location And made a deposit for $123.00 at which time my account was reflecting a positive balance. I work a night shift at my job and upon getting home that morning I discovered that the credit had been reverseved without any notification which lead to me being charged $108 for overdraft fees which I felt where wrongfully charged due to me having no knowledge that the credit is going to be reversedI feel this is a very deceptive practice cause I received my mail later in the day with notice it was going to be reversed after the damaged was done since ive had this account i've maintain my account in a good status and never occured overdraft fees till this incident I reached out to customer service and spoke with a supervisor who gave a credit for one charge but stated the others couldn't be done cause its not a bank error and I asked if you failed to notify me so that I could avoid these charges I feel it is a banking error cause I dont spend what I dont have and I asked is there away to stop the charges since I was getting paid on the 2/28/2016 and was told theres nothing she can.
This practice seems deceiving and wrong to not properly notify customer then hit them with a bunch of overdraft fees and pretty much blame the customer. I would like the overdraft fees credited and im still disputing that [redacted] charge that was made. Y'all can come up with better ways to notify customers of things like this, email would be a great way or even logging into your account and having alert notification will be nice. I love your bank cause the one in [redacted] is the most friendly bank ive ever been to and everytime I go in there every employee knows my name and we even share great conversation and recently just got my sister to switch to your bank and is even considering moving her buisness account as well just cause of what shes seen when she comes in with me and see the great friendly experience that location provides.Desired Settlement: I just want the issue with the overdraft charges corrected, Ive already reopend another [redacted] dispute for the charge

Review: I applied for a HARP loan through PNC Mortgage and was told my total loan amount would include closing costs which made the loan appealing. I was told this on several occasions. The phone conversations are recorded and I'm sure PNC Mortgage can verify the authenticity of what I said. As of today Dale C[redacted] said I need $800 to close. I thought HARP loans help individuals who are struggling. This loan officer and other individuals need to be held accountable for what they tell clients.Desired Settlement: I don't want to pay closing cost on my HARP loan.

Review: Since starting a refinance with PNC over 6 months ago after banking with them for over 5 years, I have dealt with nothing but poor customer service issues. A home equity line I applied for, took 5 months to be approved due to poor service and communication. After verbally being told the loan was approved as applied, I am told 3 days prior to closing on the loan that the amount requested had been cut in half! When I requested explanation of why I was told that the loan was not approved at for the requested amount, I received an answer that my credit had changed. I then asked specifically what had changed on my credit as to my understanding it had gone up 60-80 points since applying. The representative stated he did not know the answer and would ask underwriting. Well come to find out there was no credit issues that were not disclosed within the first 72 hours of applying for the loan when they pulled my credit on 04-14-15! Being backed into a corner last minute on a loan required for business, PNC scheduled closing. On the day of closing, the representative sent me to the wrong branch! Then proceeding to the right branch, I was told by the employee handling the closing to go sit down for 15 minutes. Well 30 minutes after the time that she scheduled her own closing, we are now at the table with not even an apology.(I guess the fact I had a schedule never crossed their mind). I at least finally think I will be able to sign and get out of there. Wrong again as none of the documents were even printed out. After this experience all I want to do is exit all ties with PNC, so I request that my business account be closed. After closing the account, the check was made out to the wrong corporate name as the entity had changed from a corporation to an LLC which happened prior to them closing the account. I then return to get the check reissued as no other bank will take it as it is made out to the wrong name. I have been in there a couple times with no resolve or no one that can seem to resolve it.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
I want the check issued in the correct corporate name immediately so my funds can be released to me

Review: I have called PNC bank at their primary 800 number several times to obtain the status of my 1099. I had an account in 2013 which I closed. When I spoke to a representative, I was informed that they could not discuss my account with me because its closed. This is for security reasons. I was told that my only option was to contact a branch. I called my local branch ([redacted]) and I was told by the rep that she didnt know about 1099s and that her operations person was in a meeting. I asked if they could print my 1099 and she told me she allowed to discuss this with me because I closed my account. She also told me that she didn't know anything about 1099s. What type of financial institution is this? Its now mid-February and I still dont have my 1099 and I cant even get a reasonable explanation of the status or if I even will be getting one in the mail. My only explanation for PNC continually pushing me away is because I closed my account and now they purposely want to deter me from obtaining my tax documents. This is clearly negligence on PNC behalf.Desired Settlement: I want a response from PNC Bank about their unusual service practices, but I'd ultimately like to obtain my 1099.

Review: I would like to file a complaint with pnc branch in [redacted] manager is[redacted]. I received a call from one of the customer service people informing me that they needed to change my existing two free checking accounts to accounts that will be penalized monthly with a fee to each account in the amount of $7.00 each if in one account my direct deposit does not equal $500.00 and an additional $7.00 fee to the other checking account if the balance falls below $500.00. I have been with PNC bank for years ever since they merged or bought out [redacted]. The service rep said they are trying to clear out all the free checking accounts that came in through [redacted]. This is outrageous! I am being penalized for their dealings with [redacted]. I told the service rep that I could not be sure that my bi weekly direct deposits would equal $500.00 as my work hours had recently been cut due to our economy. She acted very surprised that anyone would not receive that much pay. Well, I think these new charges are just fees to nickel and dime people to help keep their bank open. Times are tough and people like myself who are all but unemployed can't afford all these extra fees! I was told when PNC took over my account from [redacted] that my account would not change and that I would not be penalized. I think this new practice towards former [redacted] customers is unethical. I just think it is wrong to take advantage of people like I believe they are doing. I think it is poor customer service and they should know how the little person feels. I phoned the bank but they refused to give me the manager email for Revdex.com to contact. They would only give me the general web address.Desired Settlement: I believe I should be able to keep my free checking accounts without having to maintain a $500 balance or $500 direct monthly deposit.

Review: I had a home equity loan through [redacted] Bank which was bought out by PNC bank. During the buyout process PNC bank lost the loan on 05/2009. It took me several months of phone calls on my part to locate the loan so they could withdraw the payment. While the loan was lost PNC bank moved the loan into collections without notifying me. I am attempting to refinance and PNC will not disclose payment history or report our payments to the credit bureau. My credit report currently states that the loan from [redacted] Bank was charged off and paid in full PNC bank does not exist on my credit report but they are being paid on time. I have made several calls, sent letters and still cannot get any information from PNC bank. My mortgage broker has done the same with the same outcome. PNC bank refuses to assist me in any way regarding my payment history. I feel like their conduct is illegal and I know they have a history of fraud just check [redacted]. I feel like if you pay your bills and work hard for what you have you get taken advantage off by big banks. I pay them on time as I do the rest of my bills so why should I be penalized for it. Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like PNC bank to report my payment history to the credit bureau and provide payment history as far back as 05/2009 when the loan was lost. I want the charge off taken off my credit report because I was never notified that the loan was lost or bought out by PNC. If this can not be rectified I would like financial compensation since they are putting a burden on my family of six (4 small children). This issue is preventing me from refinancing my current home loan.

January 5, 2015 Mr. [redacted] RE: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (“CFPB”) Case Number [redacted] Dear Mr. [redacted] Please allow me to respond to your complaint filed on November 6, 2014 with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (“CFPB”), regarding your PNC Bank, National Association ("PNC11) Home Equity Loan ending in [redacted] ("Loan"). I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. For reference, PNC is successor by merger to National City Bank as of December 31, 2008. The Loan was opened on May 14, 2007. Our records reflect that there were no payments made to this Loan from December 29, 2008, until June 30, 2009. Subsequently, the Loan was charged off on August 12, 2009 with a balance owing of $[redacted], which included finance charges and late fees. When the Loan was charged off, that status was submitted to the consumer reporting agencies to which we report (“Agencies"). PNC has been reporting a declining balance in the Current Balance and Amount Past Due fields to the Agencies to reflect the payments you have been making since the charge off. Additionally, PNC has been reporting the Last Payment Date field to the Agencies to reflect your most recent payment date, I have included a copy of the payment history for your records. A review of your Loan has been conducted. PNC has determined that the information we provided to the Agencies is accurate and complete. Your Loan Is a fixed rate simple interest loan. Nothing about your Loan is predatory. Enclosed is a copy of the Loan Note. On behalf of PNC, I appreciate the opportunity to clarify our position. If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact me at ###-###-####, extension ###-###-####, which is also my direct telephone number, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, EST. Review: 01/17/2014 I went into the branch [redacted] to withdraw my money from my account and close the account but the banker was not familiar with the type of account that I had. So instead of withdrawing my money and then closing my account he closed the account first, causing me not to be able to withdraw my money from the account. I spent over an hour in the branch only to find out that the bank could not give me my money. To make matters worse, this took place a day before I graduated nursing school so I could not purchase my graduation nursing uniform. of course this was extremely frustrating to me. The branch manger informed me that I would have to wait 14 days for them to cut a check for the amount that was left in my account and they would mail it to me. It is now more than 14 days later and I still do not have my money. I called the call center two days ago and found that they had not even began to resolve my issue. I will NEVER bank with this institution ever again in my life and I plan on spreading the word about my horriable experience with PNC bankDesired Settlement: I would love to receive my money that was left in my account

Review: I have paid my loan through this company on-line every month since 2005. The past two months I cannot log in and pay my loan. In April of 2014 I called the company and was transferred five times and finally was able to reach someone who helped me make a payment and supposedly took care of the logging in problem. She stated I should be able to log in and make my payments from now on. Today, May 13, 2014, I could not log in and called the company to have this fixed and make a payment. I was transferred seven times, each person said they couldn't help me and had to transfer me. I spoke with [redacted] from Collections, [redacted] from another department, [redacted] from Consumer services, [redacted] from Customer service, [redacted] from the Pittsburgh Office, who tried to transfer me and then returned to the line to say I had to be transferred to the Brecksville, OH department because my account shows it's in bankruptcy, which I was discharged from this over a year ago. So [redacted] transferred me to the Brecksville office in which I got a message that said they were PNC lending and to choose from two options. I chose the payment and customer service option and it went to a recording quickly that said, "We are unable to make that request at this time" and it hung up on me. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to pay my loan. I have always stayed current with this loan and paid extra to pay it off quicker. [redacted] the rep. from the Pittsburgh office did verify I was "current". I'm frustrated and scared this will reflect as a delinquency on my part.Desired Settlement: I want to know how I should pay my bill and get my log-in to work again, so I can easily pay my loan.

Review: November 11, 2015 reached out to [redacted] company to make a service payment amount of $109.76; However during the attempt I was told the payment did not go through, the attempt was made again and honored. I later discovered the payment wnt through twice. I reached out to PNC bank to follow-up on the error and was told by the rep that more than enough was in the account to cover the transaction and that the error is visible on their end. PNC made me aware that the would reverse the transaction and investigate the issue in good faith. [redacted] acknowledge their mistake and stated a refund would be issue, I also made them aware that I spoke with PNC bank about the matter. As of today [redacted] has not issued the refund stating another mix-up, but agreed to express deliver the check, PNC bank has taken the 109.76 out of my account stating after a thorough investigation they find me at fault.I feel if they would have done an investigation they would have found that I was not at fault. I have accumulated several fees as a result of this. I have contacted PNC bank and was told they can not do anything about this incident.Desired Settlement: I would like PNC Bank to credit the amount plus fees back into my checking account.

Review: After over a month of waiting for PNC Mortgage to simply endorse an home owners insurance claims check, I still do not have the funds I need to pay the contractor to repair my house. For those of you not familiar with the process, if you ever have a med-lrg amount of damage to your home, and file a large insurance claim with your home owners insurance company, they most likely will write the settlement check out to the home owner and the mortgage company (to help protect the mortgage companies interest). Unfortunately, PNC has a long process to have that check endorsed and paid out. All the while, you (as the home owner) wait as your house remains in disrepair. In my case, I have waited over a month, and I still do not have my settlement money in-hand. I received one check over a week ago, but they spelled my name wrong on the check and needed to re-issue it. I demanded that the check was sent overnight (after all, it was their fault that they spelled their customer's name wrong), but obviously they did not because I do not have the check still. Meanwhile, each and ever day that I wait, I am risking that the temporary repairs made to my house will fail and cause even more severe damage then I already have. Unfortunately, I didn't choose PNC (because I was part of a mortgage sell-out), but if you ever get the opportunity to choose, don't choose PNC. Choose a local bank that cares about their customers and can be attentive to your needs.Desired Settlement: I would like MY settlement check in-hand. Not "lip-service" that it is being processed or in the mail. And if there is additional damage to my home, I expect them to pay for those repairs due to their delays.

Review: I had opened a new account with PNC and had thought I switched all my direct debits over, I missed one and it came through and overdrew the account. I have more then enough to cover the debit in the new account which are all linked through my online banking. I contacted them the same morning about the misunderstanding and hoped they could refund this fee because I clearly have the money. They refused, I find this to be a bad practice, they have the money, they SEE the money, I have more then ten times the amount needed to cover it. They are just taking advantage and charging their petty fee. I feel it does not solidify a good relationship between myself and them. They are greedy and it is truly dishonest. It would be totally different if I had been short the money but this is not the case.Desired Settlement: I would like my 36 dollars refunded and that account closed .

Review: My account with PNC had 3 charges made that put it in the hole. On 8/19 one of those charges was still pending but the NSF fee was already out there. On 8/22 that 3rd pending charge finally posted and I was charged a FOURTH NSF fee. When I called to inquire why she stated the 3rd charge of 1.64 counted against my last charge made while there was still enough money in the account. This is how my account reads from MY perspective from the last charge showing I still had money down to the last fee:Charge Balance$4.61 $1.42 (This is where they say the final $1.64 charge counted against me.)$4.79 -$3.37$4.61 -$7.98$36.00 -$43.98 (NSF Fee)$36.00 -$79.98 (NSF Fee)$36.00 -$115.98 (NSF Fee)$1.64 -$117.62 (This item counted against something I still had money in the bank for.)$36.00 -$153.62 (FOURTH NSF Fee that they say is because of my first charge, that left me with only 1.42 in the bank.)I have placed a complaint with the bank. They were unwilling to work with me on that one final NSF Fee and told me how THEIR balance sheet breaks it down. My balance sheet shows something entirely different than theirs.Desired Settlement: I'd like to see at least the one final NSF fee go back into my account because clearly the others my husband and I were at fault for. However, considering how the matter was handled on their end, I am asking, if possible, for all four charges be returned.

Review: We are a homeowner in the State of Maryland who found ourselves in an extremely difficult situation with our mortgage loan serviced by PNC Mortgage. We have been trying, in good faith and earnest, to work with PNC Mortgage in the past 20 months on a solution to our financial hardship. Due to unemployment in 2012 we were unable to make our regular monthly mortgage payments. We have attempted to work directly with PNC Mortgage Company and also attempted trough an attorney. After 20 months of failed attempts at trying to obtain an affordable monthly mortgage payment plan, on 6-19-13, PNC approved our loan for the Making Home Affordable Unemployment Program. Although we have been making our forbearance payments on a timely manner, on 8-2-2013 PNC Mortgage decided to pursue with the foreclosure sale on our home. So in the next 12 months every single day we have to be concern that we will lose our home to a foreclosure sale. PNC Mortgage does not care that the loan was approved for the unemployment forbearance program. How can PNC Mortgage refer our loan to a foreclosure attorney on 8-2-2013 when they have approved the loan for Making Home Affordable Unemployment Program on 6-19-2013? We need help to keep our home. We should not be apprehended by PNC Mortgage due to reduction of income. Unemployment is not a choice. We did not have the monthly income to pay our mortgage payments. PNC Mortgage is only motivated on pursuing with the foreclosure on our home. The only way possible to stop PNC Mortgage, from these horrendous business practices is to have agencies such as you formally investigate PNC Mortgage the debt collectors unsatisfactory and unethical activities that must be stopped before we lose our home to a foreclosure sale.Desired Settlement: We are a homeowner in the State of Maryland who found ourselves in an extremely difficult situation with our mortgage loan serviced by PNC Mortgage. PNC Bank has responded to Mr. [redacted] in writing to address his concerns regarding his PNC Mortgage account. We consider this issue to be resolved. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me directly at ###-###-####.
Thank you,
Review: I attempted to cash my payroll check at the PNC location in [redacted] on Tuesday, 9/17/2013. The location straight out refused to cash my check, and clearly stated that I have to deposit every penny and could not have access to my payroll funds until the following day. When I stated I needed the funds as I had to purchase a new car due to my other one breaking down so I could continue working, the attitude was "So what?". They repeated that PNC corporate policy is that you cannot cash a payroll check and have access to any of your funds until the following day.I have been a customer of PNC, which was bought out by [redacted], which was bought out from another company when I became a customer in 1998, but apparently loyalty means nothing to these thieves.I made a special trip to this out of the way branch, as it is extremely inconvenient. There is no location in [redacted], where I live.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the overdraft fees, and any fees that will be assessed during this time that I have filed this. PNC will no doubt start charging me a daily overdraft fee despite my attempt to resolve this. I attempted to resolve this issue, and the bank refused to allow me to resolve it without keeping every penny and requiring me to miss a full day of work. This would have been unacceptable as PNC certainly would not reimburse me for a full day of work
