[redacted] making a complaint and statement against Allianz Global Assistance for denying a claim refund for $800.00 due to (Trip interruption) as stated in their travel insurance policy I purchased for travel abroad. Name of my plan   trip protector Policy identification number   [redacted] Date of purchase   8/2/15 Plan effective date  8/3/15 Travel dates 9/17/15 - 9/24/15Total cost paid $73.55Benefit  Trip interruption protection   $1,471.05I contacted Allianz customer service agent on 9/25/15 for a missed returned flight from Ukraine, Odessa to Houston, Texas on 9/24/15. Their customer service agent request I file a claim under their (trip interruption) policy for a refund on my return trip purchased from Turkish Airlines on 9/25/15.This is the, Claim number [redacted]  for refund of $800.00I mailed a registered claim to Allianz Global Assistance stating the reasons for missing my return flight on 9/24/15 and having to purchase a new return flight on 9/25/2015.The reasons I stated in claim [redacted] is for a missed return flight because the driver was involved in traffic accidents and congested traffic. Allianz claims department discarded the CLAIMED traffic accidents as reason and considered only on traffic congestion in their response for refund denied.Allianz insurance policy clearly states, 6, sec.2Trip Interruption, You or your travel companion is in a traffic accident on the way to your departure;My claim [redacted] states clearly my trip was interrupted from traffic accidents and congested traffic. I am filing for a refund on return flight of $800.00Thanks for your help resolving this problem,[redacted]

that submission. The policy also included a 10 day satisfaction guarantee
period which enables consumers to look over the policy and decide if it will
meet their needs. If not, a request can be made for the full refund of the
premium. The consumer has filed a claim for a birth that was
delayed two days. The insuring agreement excluded coverage for any loss
resulting directly or indirectly from normal pregnancy. I regret that we are unable to provide the consumer with a more favorable

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I called the airline, and because they did not provide compensation for the baggage issue, they could not send a letter.  I informed Allianze of this, and I recommend they accept my email stating this as notification that there was no compensation from the airline.  I would like to receive a refund as this event occurred over three months ago and has not been resolved to any degree of satisfaction.

This is ridiculous! All she has to do is look up my last name in their system. This is another stall tactic that they always do. The Claim number is [redacted]. It was given to them many times.  It has been months and they are a terrible company regarding customer service. Someone should be fired from their claims department.

coverage from the time of pick up on 1/12 to 1/17 whatever time the vehicle was turned in- this is a 6 day period and the consumer was charged accordingly. It is very interesting that he used "definitely" in his response. I was so angry when I saw his message that I laughed out loud. So he blamed my bank and me but never tried to find the problem on themselves. I check my bank account almost everyday. I would never missed the refund if it were returned indeed. The picture attached is the search result of "38.5" on my online bank account. 38.5 is the amount the company charged and should return to me,  As you can see, the money was "definitely" charged and was "definitely" never returned.

Dear [redacted]:Complaint ID:  [redacted].The Appeals department has receive the documentation on October 26, 2016, and October 28, 2016.  Matt O[redacted], @ Supervisor of the Claims department forward the documentation to the Appeals department on October 28, 2016.   It has been under review for over 12 days now.   I've been told by him and others, this should take appx.  21 days.  from date of receiving the documentation.  I have spoken to Matt O[redacted] @ Supervisor of the Claims department, Allianz Global Assistance, [redacted], and he mentioned to me it would take up to 21 days under regulatory review with is in the appeal department to make a decision on this claim matter.   They should have been writing me a check either on 11/16/2016 or 11/17/2016.  So far it has been under review for over 12 days now.    They know that one of baggage was lost.  They owe me appx.  $2,000.00
