On the evening of August 4, I visited Walmart located at Research Center Atlanta D, Atlanta, GA The purpose for my visit was to pick up a few groceries and pia money transfer from the Walmart Money CenterUpon my arrival at the store the money center line had approximately people waiting to be serviced, so I proceeded to pick up my groceriesAfter shopping, I returned to the money center line (which still had about people) to waitAfter minutes passed I proceeded to the customer service desk to ask for the store manager or highest ranking member of management onsiteThere was only on Walmart associate working in the money center and my request was for additional associates to help with the wait time and for a manager to adjust the air/heat because the temperature in the money center was extremely hotI
This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to! It is always understocked and understaffed
Today I went and collected all of the groceries needed, got in an enormously long line in the items or less line (all the lines were this way), waited minutes only to faintly hear what looked to be a manager stating they are only accepting cashOnly accepting cash at the speedy checkout or all checkouts? What do I do with the groceries? Why is there always "something" with this Walmart? They are so poorly managed and always out of basic stuff (turkey one time at the deli, popcorn chicken, potato wedges and biscuits (at the same time) another visit)It is ridiculous and I will no longer shop here because of the lack of excellence and quality
I bought Walmart gift cards for ChristmasTwo of the cards were given to a local women's shelter and one was given to a friend of mine who is handicapped and in a wheelchair in the Bowling Green, MO areaWhen he went to use the gift card I gave him at his local Walmart they told him it had a zero balance of on the card and they kept the cardWhen he went back the next day to get the card back they made him prove on a store video tape that he gave them the card and then they told him that they shred all the cards and they couldn't give it back to him so I could get the card fixedI called the Walmart where I bought bought the cards and they told me nothing could be done without the card even though I have the receipt with the account numbers on itSo at this point I don't even know if the other cards workedMy friend is relatively poor and needed the money on the card to help make ends meetIt seems ridiculous that Walmart has no way to look up the cards to see if it was used even with the receipt and card numberThis needs to be fixed so others needing the money on the card did don't suffer while Walmart assumes no responsibility and gets rich off of paid for useless cards
5/14/17after work I went to my local walmart after having to be @ workng @ 5am that morning and dealing with finals @ school all week.( I must add that this is the second incident at the same location) I used the express checkout as I usually do, my bill was $I gave the machine $and instead of giving me my full $the machine gave me and a gift cardThe monitor displayed some kind of errorI immediately called the cashier who was monitoring that sectionThe cashier then calls her supervisor whose name is *** or *** and he tells me that he needs to let Asset protection review the tapes to make sure the card came out of the machineMy receipt was there in plan site and it clearly said the amounted entered and the change I was to receiveClearly anyone could see this was a technical problem with the machineIt made no sense for me to give the machine my $and ask the store for $backI was told I had to wait until they reviewed the tapesI asked for a manager and *** (manager) came and did not offer me an apology or had a word to say to meAfter being held as a prisoner for what seemed like a lifetime and having customers stare at me as if I'd commited a crime I was cleared once asset protection called *** or ***(customer support) and confirmed the card DID indeed come out of the machine ( they never even bothered to read the error mesaage on the monitor) only then was I given my change and allowed to leave without an apology of any kindThe first incident was also at the express checkoutIt was a busy Saturday again and there was only one cashier over seeing that areaI brought my items and was walking out of the door and was stopped by a young man who askes me for a receipt, I asked him who he was and he said asset protectionI asked him for I.D and he compliedI asked "why I was being stopped?" He replied" we believe you didnt pay for some of your items" I immediately gave him my receipt he checked my items and sais okHe didnt apologize at all, he simply walked awayNot at all concerned about my embarrassment or the discomfort he'd just caused meMy experiences at this store have made it impossible for me to continue to shop hereIt seems as though Im being targeted for one reason or anotherI'm a law student and fully understand when I've been discriminated against or singled outThe insult to injury in both cases is I never received an apology after each employee found no basis for their accusationsHeartbreaking and discriminatory

I purchased a coleman 22' x 52" pool on May of this year Last tuesday I went to set the pool up and discovered that the pool liner was not in the box and that a part for the pump hose was broken I have contacted walmart in Johnsburg (times), Walmart corporate office, and coleman directly None of them claim they can do anything for me except give me a refund They no longer have that exact package at any of the stores within over miles and the next package is over $more than what I paid I planned a graduation party around having this pool and do not feel that Walmart is trying to make right their wrong What can I do?
