It had been years since I bought drugs other than the first round of the antibiotic from *** *** and I was shocked at the cost I assumed the high cost was for the Predisone Later that night I decided to look at my receipt Incredibly the Predisone was only $11.04; the Levofloxacin was $134.14! The prescription was exactly the same in every respect as the one I had originally purchased at *** ***
I called Walmart the next morning, explained the situation and asked if I could get some relief on the price since it seemed obvious there was a mistake in the cost I was told no The pharmacist said the cost of the drug was correct, that it cost Walmart a lot and they would not refund any money
The next time I saw my doctor I told him about the cost He was angry saying no, no, no! He said something needed to be done because he was hearing too many stories similar to this
