I shopped at Walmart on Saturday, April 28, at 8:pm I selected six items and placed them in my cart, then went to checkout.There were NO EXPRESS LANES OPEN There were three regular lanes open, and the U Scan line There were customers with many items at all four places I looked at the Customer Service desk and there were no customers there, so I wheeled over.When I came up to Customer Service, there was a young lady employee there talking to another employee, but there were no customers around She greeted me after she got done talking to her fellow employee, and I started putting my six items up on the counter for her to scan She told me that she could not check the items out, and that I would have to use the U Scan line I told her that I never scan items myself (that is the store employee's job to perform for a paying customer.) I would never use a self service line, because that keeps a store from hiring someone to do the job I have gone to the Customer Servic

I purchased a Mainstays Burner and a Mainstays 4-Qt Cooker from Walmart and was refused a return

Walmart refuses to refund an unopened item when a receipt was produced
I made an attempt to return an unopen pepper spray I purchased at WalmartI had my receiptThe CSR claimed it was already returnedWhen I purchased the pepper spray, it had an alarm on itThe cashier walked away to take the alarm off before me taking it out the storeThe supervisor showed the cashier the history and it had not been returnedThe cashier claimed that it was a non-refundable itemI asked for the asst manager, AnnWhile quietly waiting on the asst manager, security arrived and loudly said someone called security, who called securityAll the customers were quietly and patiently waiting in lineOnce the asst manager, Ann, arrived she looked at the receipt and said, this was purchased at another storeWe don't give refunds for pepper spraythere is nothing on the item or the receipt that says non-refundable
When I contacted Walmart customer service, they said I had to go back to the manager

I used their savings catcher product all year long to save up money to shop for Christmas The time came to redeem my reward dollars and there were system issues I could not redeem my rewards I sent an email, waited for days, and received NO response I called customer service and waited on hold for min only to be told that they could not help, but I could call be later when a supervisor was there and maybe they could help me I called back later and waited another min on hold only to be told that they could not help me redeem my rewards either because it was a system issue and there was nothing they could do I would have to wait up to days for the system issue to resolve itself This is not customer service I will not be able to redeem my reward dollars to use them for Christmas shopping It shouldn't take days to fix an issue that is on your end You shouldn't advertise a reward and then have no way to resolve an issue

On 3/5/I purchased a 2-year-service plan for a product I purchased I filed a claim as instructed and received a claim # I was told that a packaging box and label would be shipped to me within business days However, I would have to pay an additional $to proceed I questioned this as I previous paid $for the service plan and nothing is mentioned in the specifications of the plan that says I have to pay an additional fee I even clicked on the Terms and Conditions to get more information but again there is nothing stated of an additional service fee

Illegal charge of sales tax
I went to the Walmart located at Easton Nazareth Hwy in Easton, PA on November 18th at 10:39am and purchased toilet paper among other thingsToilet paper is tax exempt in PA but when I got home I noticed I had been charged sales tax on itThis was not caught by the person who checked my receipt even though she told me that she was checking the receipt to make sure I was not being incorrectly charged

I took my vehicle to Wal-Mart Tire Center in Frankfort, Kentucky on 12-18-due to a nail in my tire and requested a patch or a new tire I was greeted rudely by the first employee I was told it would take minutes for my vehicle to be worked on even though no other customers waiting and no cars inside or outside the garage The employees in the garage were horse playing passing a ball when I arrived Another employee put me in their waiting area and asked me my last name I was not notified when my vehicle was completed and was told by the same employee who put me I the waiting area he could not find me even though I was the only one there and had not moved About a week later my tire light returned back one I was out of town and took it to another place of business I was told my tire pressure sensor was broken and had been glued back together I was not informed of this and Wal-Mart let me leave in a vehicle with a broken car part that they broke This is unsafe, deceitful and poor customer service I am now out $to have the piece that they broke replaced

Applied for a credit card online to save 15% Tried to shop with new credit card, only to experience a never ending loop and get kicked out of shopping When I called customer service "Trevor", an account manager, said they were sorry but there was no way they could help me - I would have to shop in a store to get my discount The store is over miles away! I went into walmart to buy couple things I was in a hurry I had to get food for my wife she was hungry so I gathered somethings and when I went to the line there was only lines open and peoplee waiting I looked over to the self checkout and saw the manager I guess emptying the money ...but my issue is the other walmart close to my house only shuts down half the self check out so people can still some what express check out I asked the manager witch name is Leslie if she can open the side that she isn't on so people can check out and go its late ...she said no she won't open them until after mind you its so I said but the other walmart does half at a time so people won't wait an hr at the check out ..and she very rudely said well this isn't the other walmart ...I put my stuff down and left ...that is ridiculous what ever happened to the customer is always rite this was the manager ...and she flate out told me ..you don't like how I do things then beat it I think walmart needs to retrain there employees on how to talk to customers ...thats unacceptable ...I want here to be told to only do half at a time I go to this walmart a lot and the walmert used to do that also but they stopped that

I bought Walmart gift cards for ChristmasTwo of the cards were given to a local women's shelter and one was given to a friend of mine who is handicapped and in a wheelchair in the Bowling Green, MO areaWhen he went to use the gift card I gave him at his local Walmart they told him it had a zero balance of on the card and they kept the cardWhen he went back the next day to get the card back they made him prove on a store video tape that he gave them the card and then they told him that they shred all the cards and they couldn't give it back to him so I could get the card fixedI called the Walmart where I bought bought the cards and they told me nothing could be done without the card even though I have the receipt with the account numbers on itSo at this point I don't even know if the other cards workedMy friend is relatively poor and needed the money on the card to help make ends meetIt seems ridiculous that Walmart has no way to look up the cards to see if it was used even with the receipt and card numberThis needs to be fixed so others needing the money on the card did don't suffer while Walmart assumes no responsibility and gets rich off of paid for useless cards
