carid would read the complaint, they would not have answered like that. I DID NOT send back the damaged part, I still have it. Reference the order number, I am requesting the remainder of the charge for my second purchase. They are so impossible to deal with, I have written off the damaged part they sent me, that is no longer the issue, but as you can see, they don't listen. If the part they received was damaged in any way, that was the way they sent it out. That part was never in my possession, it was re routed during their erroneous shipping, order should have been cancelled, and delivered directly back to them. That is the order that I'm requesting my full purchase price refunded.

10 days after placing my order with CARid.com I received the horrible news that my snow tire chain won't make it on time for my road trip.
CARid failed me.

I am rejecting this response because:  I have contacted business...

repeatedly and sent photos repeatedly for both products.  This is in response to requests from different persons from organization -- they seem to have no one consistently working on the issues to get them resolved.    I get promises and no results.   Promises are no longer believable.

The whole situation was a scam this company wasted my time and held my money for a month and I never recieved my items in still awaiting the refund so I can buy elsewhere and it has yet to be refunded to my card. This company sells you a product than lies and states is not available or won't fit so they can upswell you to another higher priced product.

I ordered a hood from CarID.com when I conducted the purchase I followed up a few days later and the representative informed me that it was on its way and that when it arrived that I should check it for damages before accepting it from the carrier. So I did, I was able to find damages on the hood, it had air bubbles in the paint so I returned it with the carrier. When I called back the representative told me that I was not going to receive any money back nor a replacement because the carrier marked the delivery as "rejected". Then they said they would have a manager call me back to resolve the issue, it has been over a week with countless call and I still am waiting for a manager to call and resolve the issue. All I want is a replacement hood with quality finish and no damages.

I have not recieved any refund in my account. And I am still after over a week waiting for the return shipment labels. I still have not recieved even after asking for this process to be expadited and asking them to email me a printable return shipment label I still have not recieved after a week.!!!! At every turn they have not followed through with what is promissed.

We truly apologize that the quality of the part that the client received is not up to his standards.  Unfortunately the return was denied for one reason, the product has been modified (painted).  If you take a look at our return policy we clearly state that once a product is modified...

from it's original condition we are unable to accept a return.   
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to accept a return for a refund or exchange on products in new/unused condition within 30 days of delivery.

I understand this will be a full refund with no restocking fees subtracted and not a store credit. This was not mentioned in the company response but I believe this is understood by the company agreeing to the desired resolution.

request and in order for me to get the updates regarding the shipment status,

In regard to the manager returning calls—I did try to
call him back but after being on hold for approx. 20 minutes, I hung up. This
happened twice when trying to call him but it also happens every other time you
call the shipping department. Sometimes they did answer but most times I got
tired of holding and hung up and decided to try later.

Delivered—damaged--
I decided to return the product for a full refund which
I did receive.
 
I did talk to a few other people on the phone
that said they would check into it but they did not call me back. There were two
that did return my call. They did give two gift certificates to me for the
delay.

Here is the detail of the order:
1/14 Order placed for tires, wheels and tire sensor ($159.95)
1/30 Order shipped
3/7 Customer reported that the sensor did not work.
3/15 Manufacturer attempted a reset procedure but that didn't help.
3/29 RMA label sent to customer...

to take the item back for inspection and upon receipt of the item, if it was defective a full refund would be issued.3/30 Customer emailed stated that the Revdex.com will be contacted and to discontinue any further communiction
3/30 Customer was told that we will refund him once he returns the product and that we can review the receipt for dismounting them from the tires and wheels.
 
To date the item has not been received.

I will never do business with CarID again. This is the 1st and the last time. I purchased a set of $1,000 dollar wheels from my 2015 Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel. First off the wheels took over 3 days to ship out. I then received 2 out of 4 wheels. Opened them up in perfect shape. I received my 3rd wheel 4 days later. Opened the box to a marked and scratched wheel. Called in to them. The had to put a authorization for the full price of the wheel on my credit card. I received the new wheel 5 days later. Then it took UPS an additional 3 days to come pick up the damaged wheel. This claim is still open and has not been resolved. I finally got my 4th wheel about 3 days ago. Again I chipped and marked up wheel. I called in 2 days ago. Was suppose to get a call back within 24 hours. After 3 days I finally called back. Again they wanted to put another hold on my credit card. Then the service representative went on to tell me that this is the quality of a $1,000 set of wheels. She told me I could have bought a set of $4,000 dollar wheels and got better quality. Really? My application does not require that expensive of a wheel. If I wanted a chipped, marked, and scratched wheel I would of bought a set of used wheels. Not to mention when you call in you sit on hold for 30 minutes and get to talk for about 5 minutes before they tell you they are going to disconnect the call. I asked to talk to someone higher up of why everything is being blamed on the consumer. They said they would have to put a request on and call back. Never will I ever buy anything from CarID after this experience.

because: Sir, It would seem what I have written in response to the company claiming insurance for said "damaged" goods is a fraud and can not accept the letter (wording) as a explanation to resolve this issue with me. Perhaps if the unapt script could exclude me from the obvious collusion to blame the handlers (insurance claim) from their official files concluding this matter will go far in my world.

We apologize for the delay in this process. UPS still has not given us a reason why the claim was denied, but after two months, they've had more than enough time. The refund has been issued.

In addition, I have attached two photos of[redacted] shipping confirmation for the returned merchandise.  The wheels and tires were delivered by [redacted] on Friday 7/25/2014 at 10:58 AM and signed for by [redacted] of[redacted].  Per company policy, they take 2-3 business days to inspect the merchandise prior to issuing a refund.  I expect a full refund of $2029.12 issued no later than COB on Wednesday 7/30/2014.  Please ensure that this timeline is met since I am currently paying interest for the balance on my credit card.  Thank you for your prompt response in resolving this matter on my behalf.
